As you can see, did they go kill the whole animal and not chop it up? The chicken was okay. The salsas and the chicken tacos are what keep me coming back. Other than that, it's an okay taco spot. I only come here because it's within walking distance, and sometimes I'm in the Taco Tuesday mood, so why not support the local spot? But yeah, decent spot. I don't want to pull the "I'm from LA" card, but there are definitely better tacos out there than here. As far as their other food, I have not tried it. They had burritos, quesadillas and other items. I like that they keep it short and sweet, and stick to the more popular items. Okay, so how were the tacos? In my opinion I've had better but not bad at all. I would definitely have them again, more so because it's the closes street taco place in my side of town. Their also affordable and can appreciate the grilled jalapeño and grilled unions on the side. Only true negative is the location, it's parked 4-5 steps away from the street and there's a lot of fast moving traffic in this intersection. I also don't like all the cars coming into the gas which is located behind the truck and the limited to no parking. Overall, if your craving some tacos and don't want to drive too far this is definitely the place to stop but would recommend taking them to go. *One last thing, I liked that they give numbers instead of calling out tacos. It seems to confuse people and in occasions I've seeing people touch other people's plates and then give them back because it wasn't theirs.

We had a hard time finding it at first, but it's located in the parking lot of South Union Mini Mart. There's a lot of different taco trucks on Union, so make sure you don't pass this one up. Parking isn't really an issue, so don't worry about that. Staff is really nice. The first time we visited the young lady that took our order was very friendly and interactive. She had a nice warm personality so you feel welcomed when you visit. The owner, I didn't catch his name but he's literally cooking the food in the back. He's super friendly and also made us feel welcomed. Even though they are wayyyy out there on Union, they are the reason why people want to come back. Yes, food can be good at places, but if you have a good heart and personality then people can tell you're genuine. The first time we visited we were overwhelmed because we wanted to try EVERYTHING, I don't know what's my favorite item yet, but I'll let you guys know when I find out. Don't sleep on Taqueria El Jalisciense! I'm not a big fan of chicken tacos and I even loved those and I would get it again. This taco shop is run out of taco trucks and I go to the one on the corner of Comanche and Highway 178. They have two other locations available as well and have business cards with that information. The Carne Asada and Cabeza tacos are bomb! The Al Pastor is also very delicious and I've had all three in a taco, torta, or burrito, Their torta can be a little on the dry side so I recommend asking for extra mayonnaise. They do not put refried beans or any kind of bean on the torta, however you can request whole pinto beans, which is what they have. Their burrito is pretty good. It is fully loaded with rice, beans, meat, onions, cilantro, and whatever salsa you like. In addition if you would like extra meat they will do that for a fee. This place offers green and red salsas, and both are delicious. They also have a smoky salsa which is a little spicier. They serve a variety of soft drinks, including Mexican Coke, and aguas fresca. If you are a fan of the Cabeza tacos... I recommend you arrive early because they tend to sell out of that taco meat. Enjoy!

This seems to be the place. Photos of the food look the same although it is a different truck. The place at 178 and Alfred Harrell is so delicious! Handmade yellow corn tortillas. The meat is grilled on charcoal. And the flavors are amazing! Yum! Good attention to detail! Everything is fantastic! Thank you!
