Okay, so I'm not going to lie, the presentation is good. But once I started biting in, I was questioning it all. Tacos de lengua are not in the Taco Tuesday special, but I wanted to try them anyway. I ordered two chicken tacos and two lengua tacos. As you can see, did they go kill the whole animal and not chop it up? The chicken was okay. The salsas and the chicken tacos are what keep me coming back. Other than that, it's an okay taco spot. I only come here because it's within walking distance, and sometimes I'm in the Taco Tuesday mood, so why not support the local spot? But yeah, decent spot. I don't want to pull the "I'm from LA" card, but there are definitely better tacos out there than here. As far as their other food, I have not tried it. Don't be deterred from coming here, that's just my opinion. Nice people, decent spot, only takes cash. I'd say ask questions about what you order, but I'm assuming they do good because they have decent reviews. But not for me. read more

First off I did a taqueria search for one closest to me. I didn't bother to read the Yelp reviews before I went there, which was my mistake! ALWAYS READ THE REVIEWS. My review: The person taking the orders was not very inviting, didn't greet me or anything, just the attitude of what do you want. There's a hand written sign saying tacos $1.50. So I decided to order Lengua, she said those are not on special (THEY SHOULD WRITE THAT ON THEIR SIGN), so I asked about a Lengua burrito, because the sign said $11 burrito, but AGAIN she said the Lengua was $3 extra!! So I just got something else that was going to cost as it was listed. The carne asada tacos we mediocre, many gummy pieces, the tortilla was good. Nothing special. Update: this place has gotten lazy.. They used to be my favorite. But for some reason, they stopped cooking the carne Asada on the grill. Making nasty Grey Carne Asada, instead of Carne Asada with black charm marks and beautiful rendered fat. To save time they just let some women take over and they are completely destroying the food. This little taco truck off of Ming is one of the places we visit every now and then since it's nearby work it's a frequent truck we visit. Their food is pretty good, my favorite items are the shrimp empanadas and the gobernador tacos. Other food is good too, but if you love shrimp then make sure not to skip on those gobernador tacos! Once in a while they get super busy, so you can always call ahead and place your order. They only take cash, they don't take cashapp or other payment apps. There's no issues finding parking. You can park on the street or park in that parking area where the taco truck is. You are welcome to eat there because they setup tables and they have Spanish music playing, but their seats are limited sometimes when they get busy. Prices are good and seem to align with all the other taco truck prices. read more

First time coming here , it was delicious. And their horchata was handmade in a plastic bottle, I was suspicious at first but once that first drink and I drank it all in one minute haha! This is my go to taco spot in the area! The do mainly speak Spanish so you can practice your español, but you can also speak English too. They make everything to order so it does take some time. Sometimes it does take a little too long or at least it feels like it when it's winter or summer. Don't forget to ask for grilled onions and peppers for your tacos but eat the peppers with caution because sometimes it'll get you good. They're perfectly crispy here and very yummy! No matter what I get, I almost always get at least 1 tripas taco lol. One of my favorite parts about the truck is the options they have available to order. It's not just tacos and burritos here. Best taco truck we've tried in years! My toddler had chicken tacos and beans. Both were great, he especially liked the beans. I had lengua and asada tacos- cooked perfectly. The tortillas were made on the spot. Husband had the burrito and he was very pleasantly surprised with how big it was, it even had avocado. The service was great, super friendly and helpful.
