It's pretty small inside so it won't be great for large groups but the employees are friendly. The guy that gave me my order informed me that this place is originally from Louisiana and this store is the only one in California! I ordered the 4 piece fish combo and chose the fried okra and red beans and rice for my sides. I also added the fried green tomatoes to my order. I'm not a fan of catfish but this was good. The seasoning on their food is SEASONING, okay?!!!! The fried green tomatoes are delicious without any sauce but when you dip it in their homemade tartar sauce and hot sauce it's amazing! I'm not sure what kind of roll it is that comes with their meals but Hot Damn it's bomb! It's like a soft pillow, almost like a beignet but not as airy. I didn't eat my food for about 40 minutes or so and the roll was still so soft! I will definitely hit this place up again and give the fried chicken and fried shrimp a try! If you've been looking for a place with fried fish, look no more! It's called Chick O Fish and it's in Bakersfield via Louisiana!

The shell was nice and crispy and complimented the sweet mango ice cream perfectly . It was a really great first experience and has me excited to head back one day to try out some of their seafood.
