King Kong is no joke. Definitely come by back as soon as possible. Me and my mom loved this place.

Best mariscos in town!! I went in with a party of 5 and we were quickly accommodated by the friendly owner. We got tacos gobernador, camarones a la cucaracha, ceviche de camarón, ceviche de pescado, and sopes (not pictured) to share. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. read more

This is the best mariscos place I've ever been to so far!! The food is fresh and if you need a little kick there is a huge selection of hot sauces you can choose from to spice things up to your taste. You get a lot of food for what you pay for and the food reminds me of the freshest seafood I've had down in Rosarito and TJ. We came there to eat and enjoy our food and that's exactly what happened! Food was decent. Disappointed that my friend, whom I was sitting with, got his food 20+ minutes before I got mine. We weren't even brought chips n salsa to munch on at least, while we waited for the food! I ordered an empapelado with shrimp and octopus...plenty of small pieces of octopus but 6 shrimp. I'm only leaving 3 stars because the food is good!! The only thing is the workers were so rude. As soon as we walked in we waited like 5 minutes for them to take our order, and there was about 5 girls just walking around doing nothing. The cashier finally took our order, and she so rude! she was short, Petite, with a fucci face. they need to work on there customer service skills. The ceviche was good , and the agua chiles were very good as well. The location it self is very hidden and they don't sell drinks which kind of sucks . They only accept cash as well so you need to pay three dollars to use the ATM next door . Over all it was good . read more

The shrimp cocktails here are bomb! I think it's the best shrimp cocktails I've tasted so far, I find myself here very often! Also, the micheladas are good and they do accept credit cards not just cash but they do charge, what I believe is 75 cents when you do use it. Honestly, my first experience was not the best. There were a lot of people, and I don't think they were prepared for that, and we ended up waiting over an hour for our shrimp cocktails, but the taste brought me back and the other two times I went the ladies were very attentive and nice! read more

I had came to this place previous times before and never had any issues! If I could give this place zero stars I would! I had the worst experience today! I ordered a plate called the cucarachas which is shrimp in some sort of chili sauce. It was really over seasoned so I told our waitress the issue with the food she then told us she needed to talk to the manager about removing off our bill. Well she came back telling me that the manager refused to remove the item off our bill and I asked her if I could speak to the manager which then the manger came to my table telling me that she wasn't going to remove the item off our bill because it would be a loss to her business and it's time wasted and that I could take the item to go! And that if I really didn't want to pay for it that our waitress would need to pay for it and she walked away! I could not believe that she was making her own employee pay for this item! And the employee her name was patty just apologized and told me she would pay for it which that was absurd and I told her no that it was fine! So I paid for my meal left the waitress a tip because she actually deserved it and I'm making sure to never return to this place again! DO NOT COME HERE! The manager is a crook! read more

I feel bad cos the mom was totally nice but it was whack to be honest.. it had a good rating so I thought it would be worth the drive, when we got there they half assed wiped the table (it still had crumbs all over my seat) my friend wanted a cold michelada but they didn't serve alcohol.. people were cracking tall cans from the gas station it's connected to so that's kinda cool but it's on the low.. I got a shrimp cocktail and they gave it to me like a real cocktail I had to ask for a spoon, crackers hot sauce and ketchup... they didn't really check on us except at the end and it was hot in there the ac sucked which isn't bad but if I wanted to eat some cold seafood away from the sun.. the cocktail was good just, nothing to go back for. New spot in RIverside I wanted to try, It is right next to the shell station by ampm. This is truly a hidden treasure. At first as I walked in it looks like any other Marisco's in the area. It seemed like it just opened up because at the moment they only take cash and do not have menu's in English YET! (but they will so don't worry!). The service was not bad but not good it was very average but the lady was nice and I knew she was still trying, and also figuring out taking the order and communicating to the chief. I know she will get it, and she will improve. (I have an open mind and love understanding why instead of just assuming). I tried different fish taco's and a breaded shrimp taco. I looked being the counter to the chief cooking up what looks like a bomb quesadilla but come to find out that was the Marlin taco! oh my am I in for a treat! I get back to work with my customer and we eat (He had the Asada burrito). I take my first bite out of that Marlin and it was heavenly. The mixture between the melted white cheese and the mellow taste of onions and green sliced fresh mild peppers and this soothing spice just working together to create this amazing explosive taste. It reminded me of the type of gourmet taco from a well known L.A food truck and ended up in Moreno Valley next to the Shell gas station. I went back to the restaurant to talk to the staff about how amazing the food is and there were more people there this time. They were a friendly group or family!
