I was craving a shrimp cocktail and came across El Crazy Shrimp! Noticed they had amazing reviews for the cocktails so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the shrimp for myself, and the shrimp/octopus for my mom. Both large and the portions were great for the price! Once I got home, my mom immediately tried it and said it was delicious! I then went to try mine and she was so right! The mix was so tasty and had a good spicy kick to it. I usually add some tapatio but there was no need for it, it was the perfect mixture. I just added some lime :) Definitely will be coming back, I'm sad that I live in Anaheim now so I won't get to enjoy it as often as I would like! 10/10 service and food, thank you! read more

Mariscos done the right way!! Crazy Shrimp lives up to its name in the best possible way. The tacos gobernador were succulent, perfectly seasoned, and packed with fresh, vibrant flavor with the right amount of cheese. The seafood Caldo was outstanding --a rich, balanced broth loaded with a generous mix of fish, octopus, shrimp, and calamari that tasted like the ocean in all the right ways. You can tell this is a family-owned business that actually cares about what they serve. The service was warm, friendly, and genuinely inviting , the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a guest, not just another order. If you're looking for top-tier seafood that's flavorful, satisfying, and made with heart, this is the spot. I was completely blown away, and I'll be back without hesitation. Highly recommended!!!! read more

I like their ceviche. It tastes different from your typical ceviche you get from any Mexican restaurant. I think they put OJ in it bc it has a citrusy flavor. It's well balanced, delicious, and unique. The shrimp gobernador tacos are bomb. Food is a little pricey but worth it. read more

This is a family owned business and fairly new to the area. We found this place on a whim. With all mariscos, it varies depending on the person making it and we all have our preferences. Personally I didn't really like it - kinda tasted more ketchupy to me. However, my boyfriend loved it. The service was very good. The cashier took the time to go through the menu with us. They have limited seating, but offer take out. Pro tip: Cash payment is cheaper than card. read more

Small shrimp cocktail... Small establishment with a couple tables for dine in... Service was nice and friendly...So I've been wanting to eat here for a minute, was pretty excited and was hoping it would be bomb but the price kinda killed it for me.. After tax it was 19$ for a small shrimp cocktail, was tasty don't get me wrong but the size and price let me down.. I'd say 13$ for a small would be fair... Probably won't be returning! read more

I must give this place a 5/5!! The shrimp taco alone was so delicious I recommend putting the contents served in a cup which are cilantro, pico de Gallo, lemon and some sauce so darn gooooood! I want to try roman my shrimp cocktail was okay it had too much ketchup or something made it taste sweet I added lots of lemon and salsa to counter balance but didn't help. When you check in I got a 10% off , gotta love those check in surprises. They young man was nice and polite. Very small place but tasty. I recommend! they serve only shrimp but even if they serve that shrimp and cheese taco I'd come back over and over!! Def coming back! read more

I wanted to leave a review because they don't have enough to justify the quality of their food. Their shrimp ceviche was so good! I also purchased a Large shrimp cocktail to go. Definitely the best shrimp cocktail I've had! I couldn't stop eating it!!!! The service was excellent! The owner took care of me, provided a side of Mayo for my tostada per my request, came out the back to check it there was anything I needed and took a pic for his IG. The place is small but wasn't crowded, it was cool in there with this 100° weather so no discomfort while eating. A very calm ambiance; just people enjoying their lunch. read more

Small place selling mostly shrimp cocktail with a few other items. We got a large campechana (shrimp, octopus & abalone) & 2 Gobernador tacos (shrimp & cheese). Everything was delicious! The cocktail was loaded with seafood and very flavorful. The tacos were pretty big & stuffed with shrimp & melted cheese and was also very flavorful! Great refreshing lunch. Service was quick and friendly. read more

My wife was craving some seafood so I went online to find a good seafood restaurant. According to Yelp, El Crazy Shrimp had a 4.5 rating, so we decided to try it. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. My wife ordered the large campechana, and it had so little seafood, my wife had to go back to complain and have the order corrected. The only seafood in it was shrimp. No octopus and no abalone. Even after the order was corrected, we were underwhelmed with the taste and portion size. We've tried it once, so no need to go back again. read more

Wow a new amazing fresh shrimp cocktail spot! The seafood is well cooked. If the octopus is soft and well cooked you know the cook has it going. Clean spot small and full of flavor! I order a mixta tostada it was rich of flavors. Fresh seafood and lots of avocado. I did a Togo order and a seafood cocktail. $23 not bad for the quality and taste! Great job guys! read more

These are the BEST Mariscos in Moreno Valley and among the best in California. Shrimp cocktails: (cócteles de camarón) are truly something special! The flavor of the consomé (broth) is a thing of beauty and just bursting with aroma y sabor! Estilo Jarocho! Tostada De Ceviche: I ordered one Shrimp, one Pescado, both were amazing! The Fish Ceviche was easily one of the best I've ever had, and being from LA I've tried hundreds. The family is from Veracruz and that's what sets these flavors apart from the rest! Also appreciated the overall cleanliness of the place and the excellent service from this family owned Gem, go eat here now before it blows up! read more

The cocktail is better than the tostadas for sure, just for my taste it was a bit sweet which was weird to me. I don't like boiled shrimp for ceviche and that what this is. I like the shrimp to cook with the lime juice, thats real ceviche, unfortunately, not here. read more

Definitely not what I thought this place was going to be!! I'm pretty sure the owner / cook guy didn't wash his hands when he started to prepare my food with a few other customer orders. The cocktail didn't have very many shrimp and was most Clamato juice.. Also I counted atleast 4 flys hanging out by the cash register and food prep area read more

The cocktail was delicious and very flavorful. The mixta was great also. A bit Spicy used to love spicy but my stomach can't take so you may want to tell the cook to not put any. It's a small and nice restaurant to go on a romantic date. God bless this restaurant. The service was attentive and very humble host. I will be returning and recommending this place to my family. read more

My husband and I just finished eating at this place. It was really good! Very fresh and for the quality and quantity you get your money's worth. My husband are here at lunch today for the first time - he had a shrimp cocktail. He came home and told me he wants me to taste this shrimp cocktail because it is one of the best he's had in his life and reminded of the shrimp cocktails back in Ensenada circa 90s. Lol I agreed not thinking much of it. Well, that shrimp cocktail was really fresh and not only that but it had a unique taste to it. That unique taste is what he told me was what brought him back Ensenada memories. This place will most definitely replace our usual mariscos spot in Riverside. read more

The restaurant is very cute and clean inside, but pretty small. The staff were all very nice and professional, it only took a few minutes for my to-go order. Last but not least, the food was delicious. I got the shrimp cocktail and the shrimp ceviche tostada. I think the ceviche was a little bit better, but I thoroughly enjoyed both. read more

They have the best shrimp cocktails. Definitely worth every dollar!! They are not shy with the shrimp. Te lo recomiendo

So this is a difficult review to make. I've been to this place several time in the past and loved it. Great food and quick service. However, today was a horrible experience. We had to wait for over an hour to get our food with no explanation. Saw others get thier food before us as well. Once I finally got my soup it was way salty. The only reason I'm giving it 2 starts is because of the good experience I had in the past. Very sad to have to post this. read more

Great sheimp and customer service is great too. I ordered 2 coctels to go and the owner offered me a caldito even though it was for to go order. Really nice person. And foor was great. Only this is its expensive lol. I soent $50 on the 2 coctels other than that its good. read more

This place is a 10 out of 10. I've never seen this spot before, but when I decided to stop at a place next door this place had caught my eye. From the moment I walked in I had this wonderful aroma of good quality cooked food like, the (smell of pine in the air in the forest) "used to describe how the smell encased the room" but more relative to food, the wonderful decor made me feel like I was out on the water, but even better the selection of food. I've only had this type of food on a short number of occasions due to so many places just messing up the quality control and the taste of the food being overly salty, bad textures, and horrible smells. But this place was the opposite it the food was absolutely remarkable, from the shrimp soup, to the shrimp tostadas, and to the campechana de Camerones was my favorite. 10/10 loving friendly staff, great vibe, and absolutely best food this side of movale. Would recommend 10/10 please bring the family to try such an amazing staple and welcome to movale El Crazy Shrimp read more
