Oysters were not properly prepared and had no taste at all, crawfish were tough, corn was mushy, zucchini sticks were all batter and very little zucchini. Sauce was flavorless. Waitress never checked back on us to see if we needed anything. Place was very cold and it had that crappy 'music.' First time here and it was really good. They give you a good amount of food in your bag. I ordered an egg and it didn't come and I was too nervous to tell them so I didn't say anything. If you don't want to see poop in the shrimp ask for it to be deveined. Potatoes were cooked perfectly and they give you a bib, gloves and little hand wipes (if you ask). We were served right away and the food did not take long at all to come out. Our waitress was really sweet and didn't rush us. She explained everything and gave great recommendations. We tried the mild and hot options... mild is manageable, flavorful, and you're able to enjoy your food. Hot ... well it's hot! The flavors are good, seasonings on point, nose will be running, you might need something to drink, and will need to pause a few times to breath it out, HOWEVER, it's delicious! This place is right by my house. For some reason I've never tried it before. Tonight my kids are gone and I decided to just give it a try. I use DoorDash to get the fish and chips and clam chowder. Both of it, which I consider myself a food snob on. I ordered the fish and chips and the clam chowder and an extra side of tartar sauce because I know what I like. it did not disappoint in anyway the fish was crispy. Flaky really good. The chips were not that great just because I ordered delivery and they may start out crispy, but they'll be steamed by the time they get to your house there's no way to stop that. still a good flavor, cause they had Cajun seasoning on them. clam chowder could've used a little more clams. Had a great flavor though. I will definitely order this again i'm now looking forward to trying what they are really supposed to be good at which is shrimp. Really disappointed with our experience at Shrimp Factory. Their posted opening time is 12:00 PM, and we arrived right on time. We ended up waiting 30 minutes past opening, and they still weren't open. There was no sign on the door and no explanation. It was raining, cold, and I was standing outside with my baby. A worker saw us waiting and still didn't open the door or communicate with us about what was going on. That part was especially frustrating. A simple explanation or acknowledgment would have gone a long way. We understand that things happen, but if you advertise a specific opening time, customers expect the restaurant to be ready. The lack of communication and consideration was really disappointing. Hopefully they improve their punctuality and customer service moving forward. read more

Yesterday evening we were looking for somewhere to celebrate a family members birthday. She requested seafood so we came across Shrimp Factory. As first time customers we were a bit weary but WOW what an AMAZING EXPERIENCE we were in for! We were kindly greeted and welcomed in as soon as we entered. We sat down and explained it was our first time and didn't know how to order. No problem, our hostess was SUPER HELPFUL, FRIENDLY, and KIND! She broke down everything and made it easier for us to order exactly what we wanted. Once our mouth watering and delicious food arrived to the table we could smell the delicious seasonings. We ordered their #5 Special and added some extra items. We also had their AMAZING garlic fries and mozzarella sticks. Literally everything we ordered blew us away with its excellent flavors and cooked to perfection food. Hands down the best!! Towards the end our hostess brought over a slice of cheesecake with a candle and we joined in to singing Happy Birthday to our daughter. Overall, it was an absolute pleasure and experience. Our server, Melissa, made mistakes on over half of the orders and then gave my daughter-in-law major attitude making it seem like we didn't remember what we ordered. The reason for 4 stars? The food was delicious and the second server, Jay, came over and apologized, made sure the orders were correct and in the first server's defense, the music was so loud that maybe she didn't hear. My thinking was if she didn't hear correctly, she could have apologized for her mistake. She literately threw a bag of mussels on the table and "there it is!" I never!
