Every time I've been in there it looked serviceably clean though, so I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to it if I was too hungry to make the drive back home. On my first visit, I decided to try a hand roll for the first time ever as I didn't want to just be eating multiple different California rolls. I'd always avoided ordering them because I assumed they'd be a rip-off with barely any fish. I'm really glad I did though! Mine was stuffed with at least four or five big, thick pieces of salmon sashimi inside. It was only a few bucks but it was a much better deal than ordering nigiri or sashimi. On three separate occasions now, within the last 3 months, they have neglected the phones for orders. They would rather disconnect or turn off the phone completely to avoid any future orders. This comes as a surprise when in about 10 minutes of my first attempted call, I see a staff of four people, yet only one customer. I believe there was no excuse as to why they could not answer the phone. I confirmed they accept take out orders essentially until closing. I have always been mindful to not attempt to order within 30 minutes of them closing. The service here is appalling and truly diminishes their potential for how great the spot could be considering the food they have. Food on the other hand is a total opposite of the service, very flavorful and strong punch of spice at a level 3. My go to is the Wonton ramen with a miso base. Crispy rice is a great starter to share. The garlic ramen is also a great contender if you have a garlic craving. Open layout feels like a mom and pop shop. Overall pretty clean establishment. Occasional tweaker going in for the bathroom closer to the end of the night.
