The service was amazing! We had the agua chile with salsa negra- delicious. I recommend this beautiful place!

Ambiance , food , and service was amazing. Moises C was the best server anyone could ever ask for very satisfied with my visit.

Great food and great service! Shout out to Andre for the amazing service! We love coming here for date night!

Great service from our waiter Andre! Had a wonderful experience! Would definitely recommend!

Suuuch a cute spot for mariscos and cocktails. Great service! Lovely little outdoor seating area, equipped with heaters and TVs. We shared a tostada mixta and had a few cocktails to end our night. We loved the michelada and La Pasión, if you like Mezcal! Super delish. :) Would come back again! Street parking only? I didn't see any lots attached to the establishment. read more

Daniel gave us the best service! Recommended a tasty tequila. The ambiance is awesome. They play a variety of music.

Moises and Lupita were amazing servers! I loved the vibe and food. It was my first time and I will definitely come back!

Service was top tier! Drinks came out super fast, food came out pretty quick for a busy night. Music was amazing! Everything was very good till we got our aguachiles they were slightly slimy and fishy still edible but you can tell they weren't fresh compared to other places i think I've tried better ones at a food truck in LA. This is a high end Mariscos place you will spend a lot of money so at least try to make the food fresh! Shrimp tacos were delicious! We also tried the steak tacos they were dry and had a flavor like if you were eating liver tacos for some reason. Be prepared to spend $30 for a ceviche tostada. read more

Food is incredible. Agua chiles and all the tacos we had were all super good I will be coming back as often as possible.

Great place for bday dinners, good music and great food, will come again. Rosy was the best server!

We received great service. Carlos was attentive and very helpful. The food was delicious!

Daniel was the best server/ barista we could have gotten on a Sunday afternoon. It was mine and my girlfriend's first time at this restaurant and his recommendations exceeded our expectations. We ordered the ceviche mitotero which he mentioned was a sharable plate and let me tell yooouuuuu the flavors were exquisite. Also, I need to mention the manager Raymon, my gf is a huge sports fanatic and asked to be seated wherever the TVs were. I loved that he gave us the option to sit in the patio or the bar inside the AC. Not only did we request to watch the dodgers game but he remembered we came to watch the packers game at 1pm, when the time came around he literally walked up to our table to make sure the game we wanted to watch was on. We will definitely be coming back to taste more of the menu. Highly recommend for family and friends read more

We dined here on Saturday night for my sisters bday. We were seated indoors. Our server was so sweet, I don't recall her name. The food was quickly brought out and everything was great. The mariscos al mojo sauce has a nice kick to it. The shrimp empanadas are always delicious. The chipotle sauce they use for them is my favorite. Our server so kindly brought out an ice cream sundae to sing happy birthday to my sister.the service and food was excellent. It is a little loud in there but we didn't mind. read more

My friend and I had brunch at Mariscos Choix and it was fabulous! I certainly didn't remember this being here growing up in downey but I guess they got more space and did a wonderful remodel. The interior is beautiful! So many wonderful food options and the server was knowledgeable about recommendations. I had the Filete Choix which had the perfect spice with the shrimp and paired so well with the fish. We shared the ceviche which was perfect. For dessert we ordered from the brunch menu and shared the berry French toast. No dedicated parking lot so we parked across the street behind CVS in their parking lot. read more

Went on a Sunday for brunch, wait time was around 30 minutes not bad for a busy day. Our server was amazing and made the first time experience great. She was attentive and great with her recommendations. The patio is beautiful and restrooms are nice. I will definitely come back with my family. Fish taco 8/10 the taco tasted great and the size is average. The only down side was the tortilla, it ripped up in pieces and I ate it with a fork. 5 star for aesthetics and that's it. Service was mediocre and food was pretty, but overly salted and overpriced. Alacart tacos for 6 dollars each was way too expensive and we paid 25 dollars for 3 octopus tacos. Ordered aguachiles and campechana along with fajitas. Campechana did not look like the picture on the menu he and EVERYTHING was overly salted and tasted like we were just eating salt licks. Come back if you're a shallow wildebeest that just wants pretty social media postings and overpriced, overly salted finger food. We left home with high blood pressure and a 400 dollar tab. Won't be back. Restaurant is pretty though. read more

Came here with my girlfriend for a valentines date and just wow! Walking in the ambience itself is so nice! The staff were very friendly and advised us to take pictures by the pretty balloons. We first started with drinks and oysters and let me tell you! Those mango flights are dangerously delicious! Waiter offered us to get a buy one get one drink with cotton candy. Those were fun since we got to melt our cotton candy in the actual drink making it sweeter. Ugh mouth watery Once the food came out, I couldn't even take a photo since we dove right in! I got the shrimp cocktail and girlfriend got ceviche on tostada. Everything was delicious but our bill was pretty high for just us 2... but what do you expect it's seafood. Lol read more

If you ever eat here, ask for Andre, he will treat you with the best service the whole restaurant experience!

This was our first time at Mariscos Choix (me and my boyfriend), and we found it while searching for a good mariscos spot nearby and we are so glad we did. The reviews were great, and now we know why. We arrived around 12:30pm on a Sunday and were seated right away. Our server, Ariana, was fantastic. She was super friendly, attentive, and gave us great recommendations that really made our meal. We started with the Gobernador empanadas as an appetizer, and they were absolutely delicious. Perfectly soft with just the right amount of crunch, and packed with incredible flavor. For our main dishes, we shared the Huevos al Albanil from their brunch menu and the Aguachile with negra sauce. The huevos dish was flavorful and the house sauce they came with was full of bold flavor. We were not sure which sauce to choose for the aguachile, but Ariana kindly brought us a sample of the negra sauce. She said it was delicious, and she was absolutely right. My boyfriend loved it so much he used the leftover sauce on everything else. The aguachile itself was light, refreshing, and beautifully plated. For drinks, my boyfriend ordered the Mango Margarita which was definitely on the sweeter side and really enjoyable. I tried El Burro Rojo, which was more on the sour side but still very tasty, and also ordered the Escalde Margarita, which came with a fun presentation. It had a very unique flavor. It was not as sweet as a typical margarita, but still good and something you might develop a taste for. There was also a live mariachi band playing, which added a fun and vibrant energy to the already nice atmosphere. Overall, we had a great first experience and are already talking about coming back, especially to bring my mom. By the time we left, there was a wait, so I definitely recommend getting there early. This place is a gem and absolutely worth a visit. read more

We finally gave this place a try for my brother in law bday. After seeing a lot of people coming here and waiting. Place is always crowded Service was perfect. All the staff were nice and on point. The shift Manager came up to our table to thank us for trying them out. The food was realllyyyyyy good. The vibe of the place is perfect especially hanging out with friends & family. Most definitely would recommend this place. Place is a bit pricy but is worth every penny of it. read more
