Drinks: 5 Stars I ordered the Michilada it was good Authentic Michi, I do wish that it had something special that set it over the top especially for a Mexican seafood spot. Parking/Restrooms: 0 Stars Parking was honestly terrible and the restrooms were a disaster, Having a young child it was like an episode of fear factor taking her to use the restrooms here. I don't understand why ppl hype this place up so much? The food looks amazing, but definitely does not taste amazing. I don't think it's worth the trip or money. I ordered the aguachiles rojos with modelo. The shrimp were not cold. They were room temperature!!! It took a lot to get past that fact. The sauce definitely could use a lot more flavor, all I could taste was lime, tbh. The beer was also not very cold. The salsa they give you for the chips as an appetizer, is flavorless. It tastes like your dipping your chips in spicy water. I won't even be going back to cash in on my free plate of aguachiles that they offer on your next visit, because it's just not worth my time. I give it 3 stars because our server was very nice, and the michelada and limonada preparada were both VERY good. But the food was NOT good. We ordered a bunch of food it being our first time and seeing a lot of reviews, but their incentive to enter a 500$ raffle might be the reason. They serve cooked shrimp that have been pre deveined and freezed and thawed who knows when, so not fresh. I know my mariscos so i might seem too rough on my review but im honestly surprised a place like this would have so many reviews in LA since there are so many other wayy better places. This place deserves more of a 4.5 stars but for the price and small details I'm giving 4 stars. Nothing fancy but the food is definitely delicious. We ordered the shrimp Michelada (buy one get one half off daily special). It was huge! Could've used more seasoning but it pairs well with their food because it is more on the high sodium side but perfectly seasoned IMO. Make sure to utilize the Yelp waitlist. Only 6-8 parking spots in front of the place. The rest of parking will have to be on the streets. Another yelper mentioned to just park across the street at the del taco spot but that looked full too. We got very lucky that there was one spot left in front of the restaurant. While driving to the place i joined the waitlist via Yelp around 6:36p and was told to check in by 7:06-721p. We parked, sat in the car and waited. We were seated and immediately served tostada chips with salsa. Fair warning the salsa is a little on the spicy side. If hot cheetos was 2/10 spice level then the salsa would be a 5-6. The bf couldn't handle it. We also ordered tacos sinaloenses, tostada camaron con pulpo and the super campechana. All were delicious and fresh. Definitely filled the seafood cravings. Tacos sinaloenses we're definitely top 3 tacos I've ever had in my life. Tostada camaron con pulpo was definitely fresh. Could've used more seasoning on this one. By now we were getting full. We still had the Super campechana that we haven't even started on yet. It came in the same glass that our huge shrimp Michelada as came in. This one had a raw oyster in it. We're no stranger to raw seafood so we were excited and to our dismay, quite a few of the shrimps were completely raw! We can do raw oysters but TBH the completely raw shrimp scared us. We took a few bites and pulled the raw shrimp out. Our server told us the shrimp was supposed to be raw lol yea no thanks. Weird thing is that this cocktail didn't seem very spicy to me but the bf said his lips were burning after eating this. I was fine. Then again I was full so I didn't eat much of the super campechana. It's pretty pricey here but a nice casual date night on cinco de Mayo. Our to go container was dirty so we asked for a new one. Lots of loud music so when you conversate you may have to speak slightly louder. I was in leggings and hoodie, the bf in joggers, t shirt and hat. We saw some on dates where they were dressed ready for the club. There were signs that said "no smoking and no dancing" so I did get the vibe that this place may have turned into a dance club at night pre pandemic. Didn't get clean vibe bathrooms so I held my pee until I got home so I can't say anything about their bathrooms. Not too sure but will definitely be coming back when craving ceviche style seafood and cocktails. read more

I ordered the agua chiles and they were very fishy, had almost no flavor and they looked odd. Told the waitress and she was kind enough to have them remade. Even the waitress said she's had other customers complain about the same thing with the agua chiles so that says a lot.
