They had over the top dancers wearing huge ball gowns which were gorgeous and so random for a restaurant. The menu had a mix of dishes like sushi and Asian style fish dishes as well as American steak and Mac and cheese. The server was attentive and explained the menu well. Came here for our last night in Downtown Miami before heading to South Beach and I am so glad we came here! We came in here not knowing what to expect but it was definitely a dinner party up in here!! We decided to do the Small Sushi & Sashimi Platter, which also came out with the dry ice and everything looked so grand and wonderful. The sushi and sashimi all tasted fresh and you are definitely paying for the presentation as well. We opted for another fancy show and decided to do the Miyazaki A5 Wagyu Beef 3 oz, which was also cooked tableside on the signature hot stone. One of our servers helped us cook the meat after we had all our pictures taken, which was so helpful! We were so busy taking pictures, drinking, eating, we definitely didn't have time to cook the meat! Lastly, we went all in and got the Marion Imperial Experience for dessert! Everything was sooo delicious and we were pretty tipsy already with all the drinks but we definitely finished dessert to the last bite! Most memorable for me was the tiramisu!!! There is a 2 hour time limit on the table. We arrived at 7pm and were supposed to leave our table by 9pm. But we were able to get it extended a little longer before we headed over to the bar area to get some shots! You could definitely start and finish your night here with all they have to offer! We were celebrating a very important birthday and were excited for a fun night. We were first greeted and gave our drink order to our server. All 6 of us ordered drinks but only 5 of us received our drinks. Our server was no where to be found for 15 minutes and we asked multiple other servers if they could send our server or get the drink for us. Our server came after another 10 minutes. At this point we were all done with our drinks so we ordered another along with a couple of apps. After 40 MINUTES, they finally brought the missing drink. They brought our other drinks as well and FORGOT ANOTHER DRINK!! It was a MESS! Then 2 of 3 apps came out. While we were waiting for our 3rd app, the staff cleared our whole table. We were sitting there with empty drinks and no silverware when our 3rd app came. We had 1 chopstick they left on the table that we jokingly started trying to eat the app with (see picture). I had to get up for the 3rd time of our meal to try to get silverware and plates. At this point i felt like i was the waiter of our table as I was doing all of the work! THEN, they put a GIANT BOWL OF ICE on our table that took up the WHOLE TABLE. (See picture) We have NO IDEA why this was put on our table as we had not even ordered a bottle at this point in the night. We had a few servers come over and start laughing because they said "we have no idea why this is on your table" as they took it away. HALF of our food came, we never received a couple of items and we received items that were not ordered (ex: we ordered 2 truffle Mac and cheese and they brought us 1 plate of truffle French fries? LOL). We got the bill and they charged us for everything, even the items that were never even brought to the table including multiple drinks that we ordered that NEVER CAME. I honestly would have had a better experience with better service going to Taco Bell. We all left extremely pi**ed off. I called the next day to speak to talk to someone about our experience and they seemed appalled that this happened to us and that they would rectify it along with send me a copy of our bill to make sure the items we ordered that never came to the table were removed. I had to call back multiple times and was told that they wouldn't do anything for us except invite us back to another one of their restaurants and they would take care of "part of our bill". So, you're saying that you profited off of our TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE already and you want us to come back and BENEFIT OFF OF US AGAIN?! LOL !! And i STILL never received a copy of our bill to rectify the charges for items never received. All I can say is to avoid this restaurant unless you wanna get HUSTLED! Best night of the year! Absolutely life affirming. I arrived almost 45 minutes early, waiting for my son, for our 9:00 PM reservation. The bartender graciously entertained me for an hour, nursing one glass of champagne. Unheard of in Miami for a fat older woman taking up a seat at the bar. Eternally grateful! Our waiter was even more gracious! Best calamari in my whole life -- and I have been all over the world -- while we were making up on our minds for the numerous choices on the menu. We ordered some champagne with the calamari and there was no rush to order our main course. Again a refreshing change from the usual frenetic service in Miami. The lobster, side dishes and dessert(s) were impeccable. I pride myself on my homemade ice cream but the ice cream at Marion was equal or better than mine. (This is not some thing I would admit lightly.) The espresso martini that the waiter recommended was just "over the top" delicious. Kudos to the chefs, our server, his assistants, all amazing professionals. Again, uncommon in Miami. This was the best night of 2021 -- admittedly not the easiest year for any of us. I live in this building so this restaurant is my go to. Ive been here quite a bit of times and not only is the vibe super lively (bagatelle-ish) but the food is fairly good! They always accommodate my gluten intolerance which is always such a relief and a plus.
