Had a great time here on a Sunday. Mostly everyone was masked and it wasn't too crowded. I would appreciate some more mentions of mask wearing inside the maze as we did run into a few teens who didn't pull their masks up. I understand that's more on the non compliant mask people however. Clearly the owners have lost the passion for this attraction and are resting on their laurels, and just grabbing the cash. First, the maze is not maintained, there are plastic bottles, dog poop bags (full), broken or missing signage, etc. It costs $15 a head to go into this thing. You would think that it would be up to date and clean. (No, see my photos.) And even more perplexing after you enter the maze you reach another entrance into the corn maze with a big sign? A maze within a maze? Not sure. Didn't we already enter? Totally confusing. Inside the sub-maze are a bunch of signs with random photos on them. Not sure what to think. Outside of the maze, the same recycled stuff that didn't look so great 3 years ago was just put back out. Time to reinvest some of your profits guys. This is not acceptable given how much you charge. Oh, and on a busy Saturday they advertise stuff they don't really have (see pictures.) read more

Just went this weekend and it was a great experience! Time slot tickets must be bought ahead of time to control numbers. Antibacterial gel pumps spread throughout and hand washing station available as well. It's a great outing any Autumn, but especially nice to have some activities not change much during Covid. Consistently one of the places that I make a point to stop by every year for a fun fall day! The maze is one of the best around -- it's pretty big, uniquely designed every year, with some mini games as well. I highly recommend doing the maze at night for a creepier experience around Halloween. They have a great farmer market, some food stands, and some other small attractions aimed at kids. The giant bouncing trampoline is awesome! My only complaint is they could use some better food - the stand selling concessions is pretty limited and the chicken tenders were meh. I'd love to see some more of the local ingredients used to make some fun dishes! read more

A truly memorable annual tradition! Granted the corn maze is worn and weary, what with thousands of grain spelunkers traipsing paths through rotting ears, cordoned off by a ribbon and a dream. But it's a worthwhile hour with friends, provided you agree from the start whether your primary objective is to (a) escape, or (b) escape with a fully completed activity sheet. If the latter, you must locate every interactive station in the field, and THAT, my friends, is the true challenge. Pleasantly surprised to find the large slide and - the greatest thing ever - the jumping pillow (!) are now included in the cost of maze admission. There's a bounce house and more fun stops around the entrance, as well as a much smaller rope maze, all of which are more suited to the wee ones. Which is the only downside to the whole experience - if y'aint with kiddos, you're yielding to them everywhere. All in all, a refreshing break from bar crawls and bottle service at the clurb. Toss in an afternoon of apple picking and fried clams for a most New England day trip with friends. read more

Remember all those rules your parents tried to teach you when you were little? All those silly things about "being safe" or "doing the right thing"? Well, enter Marini Farms. Let this cornucopia of cornfield diversions prove your parents wrong. Rule: Don't play with your food. Counter point: THE APPLE CANNON! Stand on a hill and load apples into ... you guessed it... a cannon. Shoot them with reckless abandon into the corn fields. You just played with your food AND shot things. Good for you. Rule: Don't jump on the furniture. Counter point: THE JUMPING PILLOW! It's a massive inflated "pillow". The whole point is to jump on it. And to double bounce your friends... discreetly. Since double bouncing may be frowned upon. Don't be fooled by the fact this is mostly populated by the under 10 crowd- if you get enough big kids together they'll let you hop on for a jumping session. Rule: Don't play after dark. Counter point: FLASHLIGHT CORN MAZE! I think we all learned at one point- some things are just more fun with the lights out. Get your friends. Bring a flash light. Go play in the dark. After dominating the daytime corn maze last year, I can say it was even more fun afterdark. Our crew of 12 divided and wound our way through the maze. This isn't a haunted corn maze and really didn't come across as scary- it was just more exciting racing your friends (and the clock) when you couldn't see anything. Rule: Don't play with fire. Counter point: MARINI CAMPFIRES! If you have a minimum of 10 people- for $9 a person, Marini will set you up with a fire pit, benches, hot dogs, buns, condiments, sticks and s'mores to do your very own campfire. After finishing the corn maze we headed up to the field beyond the amusements and spent a couple hours kicking back, roasting dogs and debating the finer points of s'mores making (lesson learned: always go with the slow mallow roll; never let it catch on fire). This place is great for daytime fun but the afterdark options really took it to the next level. Quickly becoming one of my fall favorites. read more

This place is awesome for kids! My cousin had purchased a Groupon ticket for us to do the corn maze, the original price is $10.99 a person (I think or $11.99). We were a group of eight (adults). When we arrived, they was a station selling pumpkins, a farm stand that sold their homemade bakery goods and veggies, and their fun filled activities for kids. We had finished the corn maze in 30 minutes. I have to say, if it wasn't for the Groupon, I wouldn't have paid full price. I think kids will definitely make use of all the activities have. I did buy their cider donuts, very good. Their hot cider and homemade raspberry lime Rickey, both were too sweet for my taste. read more

Such a good place for families! The price is right for daytime & in the dark corn maze fun. I personally went at night and had such a fun time. Could not find all the clues in the maze but got to see where Adam Sandler filmed for his nee netflix movie! Around the corn maze are other fun activities for kids and two fire pits for parents or young adults! There were hotdog & popcorn stands & a lovely farm stand right there! It was such a good experience in comparison to other corn mazes I have done. Only thing that i wish were different was that the maze was full of clues to bring you through instead of you just walking around trying to find stuff, but you could definitely make a whole day out of it!! Totally recommend to families looking for some fall fun! read more

Folks do not go to the corn maze events if you do not have a Groupon or other social media coupon. The maze prices are ridiculously high without it. You can hike or mountain bike the Willowdale Forest Park trails across the street for free. Also, do not go in the maze if you have toddlers or under. read more

Groupon for 4 people for a hay ride and a shot at the corn maze. Upon arrival, we were worried about the desolate location. Sure, it's a farm, sure, it's in Ipswich, but the only other hay ride that I have experienced was constantly packed as it functioned as a high-selling farmer's market. This place is very different. We started with the hay ride. Just our group, VIP/tractor style. The driver was knowledgeable about the fields and we took full advantage by inquiring about every section of the farm. However, it was a short ride. I love tractors and could have spent at least 30 minutes with itchy hay. After the ride, we ventured into the corn maze. It was ~space~ themed, which felt appropriate given the crop circle phenomena circa the movie Signs. There are child like clues and activities scattered throughout. Truth is, we never got out. The clues and activities are hilarious in a 5 year old kind of way. Being the only ones in the maze, we blasted Shakira and just roamed around for an hour trying to get out. Bothered by hunger, we left through the entrance. No regrets. Pretty hard maze if you are not keeping track of your movements. 100% fun. The farm also has some fresh produce and hot cider available for purchase. Nothing else to say about that. Overall, we had an enjoyable time, but it was mostly because of the group that went. The facilities were fine and if you're in the area, have a groupon, and have fun friends, then please head on over. Otherwise, if you're 20+, it is probably not worth it. read more

I went to Marini Farm last night for the flashlight corn maze with my friends and their two daughters (1st and 3rd grade). Our experience was just ok. The farm did say on their website and at the ticket booth that the trail was muddy - so my rating of 3 stars does not include this fact. However - if you are going in the next few days - be aware, it is MUDDY! Like sink up to your ankles in sections muddy. I do appreciate the fact that they posted the notifications about the mud in advance and provided a hose to wash off after wards, so we were well informed. My three stars comes from: 1) we were really bored after about 40 minutes (and frustrated as we could never find our way out due to clue stations being broken). 2) some of the clue stations were broken so when you arrived to them you couldn't slid your map under the Red view finder to determine where you were in the maze which was very frustrating. 3) It was freezing cold, which while not the farms fault, did play into our experience. It would have been nice if they had a fire pit or heaters for you to get warm up under after the maze. They do allow you to "purchase" a fire pit for $50.00 ($5/person for 10 people minimum) but that is a bit much I think. Had there been a fire pit to get warm by I'd imagine we would have stayed longer after wards and maybe purchased some items from their farm stand (which was also freezing - you could see your breathe in the barn). If I were to try the maze again, maybe we would go during the day? Not sure if that would help or not. So not the worst experience, just not the most fun I've ever had and it was disappointing that the map system was broken. They market this as a family event but every family we ran into had a bunch of pretty miserable young children. I am not sure if I would take young children. I think the groups that were having the most fun were those in their middle 20's who had smuggled in some adult beverages :) read more

Brought my 1.5 year old son and je had a great time. Toms of toys and slides and bouncy houses to play on. The adult corn maze was a too long for him and we cut it short. All in all I would recommend for all young children. read more

So much fun! We were nervous about going as four adults (without a child) however we still had a great time! It probably took us between 30 and 40 minutes to get out of the maze. Staff was great and even though it was a busy Saturday we did not feel as though our time in the maze was effected by other visitors. We did the flash light night which starts at 6pm. So much fun!! Awesome large corn maze that takes at least an hour to complete. You can really get lost in it. Amazing photo ops. The staff was friendly and helpful and actually had to rescue us and show us the way out. At least one person in the group should bring a flashlight. Rain boots or hiking boots are good since the ground is a little bumpy. It was drizzling a bit but it was fine. Big recommendation! read more

We went to the corn maze in this farm during the dog friendly weekend. It was busy and sunny, and both the dog and our son had a great time. I can see it would not be for everyone, however all of 5-12 year old children were having a blast. Right in front of us there was a 7 year old leading his dad towards the finish line having a great time. With that being said, it may be boring for a group of adults, and maybe not ideal for older adults as I can see the ground getting REALLY muddy after some rain. There's nothing else really in the farm (except for buying farm produce or taking the 10 minute tour in the tractor, which was great) aimed to childless adults, so you could get bored it you are looking for lots of other activities. You may also not enjoy it if you aren't good with mazes to begin with. We just figured out the way using the map before we entered and it took us around 12 minutes to exit. I don't think any of the additional maze cues are working such as the 3-d maps or the clue stations, but that wasn't really an issue for us. The produce was fantastic and the staff/owners very knowledgeable. The weekend we attended they were wayyy overstaffed with teenagers (that didn't seem to be having a great time) Finally, I think it was worth the drive from Boston, excellent produce, dog friendly (for that weekend), fun tour, and a fun activity. read more

A corn maze is fun, for a while.. especially when you have young kids. My wife and I own our own business, so going places during the week (away from the weekend crowds) is possible. We went here last year on a weekday, and it was a great idea. There were no huge crowds, and it was enjoyable. They have a lot of stuff besides the maze for my 3 and 5 year old... bouncy houses, giant bounce pillow (not sure of the name). We've used a groupon the past 2 years, so just keep your eyes open for it. Even without it, its not an expensive time for what it is. Im looking forward to my kids getting older so we can do a nighttime try. I think they'd be too scared to do it now. read more

Had my 3yr old sons birthday party here today. He and our guests loved it. It was simple with many activities for kids 3yr-7yr old to do. There are things they could do to make the experience even better, but it's a working farm and they are doing a great job diversifying to stay in business. I look forward to more birthday parties and seeing how they grow and get better. Thanks Marinis. Improvements: so many things to do I think we missed out on some. Perhaps a handout map or flier to help party guests understand what they have access to. More staging in the party room area (hay bales?) to block off areas kids should not have access to. read more

Some people are mazers, some not. If you're a mazer, it's outstanding. If not, there are lots of other amazing (sorry about the pun) things: fire pits, slides for all ages, bouncy rooms and The Big Pillow for all ages, a corn box (aka sand box with corn, which is cleaner), and things to throw or race or shoot and a hay ride (we rode twice.) . . . . and then you can buy goodies at the farm stand. . . . Outdoor, non-standard amusement for a fall day. Lots of fun. . . . And, between the maze and the hayride, I learned quite a bit. read more

It was an awful experience the people working there did not seem to care about the safety of the people. The workers were young and always on their phones. Not one of them asked how I was doing or if i needed help with anything. My 8 year old child got yelled at by an employee for dropping a corn on the ground. Go for the fresh picked fruits and vegetables, and the baked goods. The corn maze is fun, but the farmstead is better. The apple cider donuts are hallucinogenically good. The fresh picked early summer strawberries are the best I've ever had, words don't do them justice. Same can be said of most of the fresh picked fruits and veggies Ive bought there year round. They also sell fresh local meats and dairy. If they expanded their selection of meet dairy and dry goods, I'd do all my grocery shopping there. It's the best farm stand on the North shore. read more

Friends and I decided to do the flashlight corn maze and were very disappointed. I read the info on the website and felt it was very deceiving. We were stuck in the maze for 2 1/2 hours until we finally cut through the corn stalks. One woman we were with (who is 70) tired after 1 1/2 hours and yelled and stuck up her flag to no avail. There were no helpers in the maze to direct you. We ran into many people and asked if they had any idea how to get out and nobody did. I would never recommend this place to anybody. read more

Came here with my siblings and cousins to hang out on a nice Fall day. We got Groupons for the corn maze, which made it 50% off. We were a group of eight, and decided to tackle the corn maze together. In total, it took about 20 minutes to solve. It was OK. Not as exciting as I was expecting. But it was nice to stroll and chat. I think I would try a night or scary corn maze next time. There were many other activities for family and kids, like corn hole, bouncy house, a rope maze. The rope maze was more fun that the corn maze and took more time as well to solve. We each individual raced to see who can get to the center of the maze, which was thhe goal. It took the last of us about 30 minutes to complete. There is a quaint store where they sell apple cider, donuts, baked goods, produce. The apple cider was warm and OK. Could've had more cinnamon. The donut wasn't warm. I was expecting it to be freshly warm, so that was disappointing. It was small and didn't taste anything special. I would prefer a donut from Dunkin' Donuts instead. read more

I do this every year and it's the perfect fall activity. They usually have a Groupon which makes the maze a great deal (even though it's not *that* expensive without one). In addition to the maze there are tons of fun activities for all ages--a rope maze, corn hole, a giant jumping pillow (which terrifies me...bad trampoline experience as a kid...but other people seem to enjoy it), and those fun things where you can stick your head in a hole and take a picture of yourself as a bat or something corny (ha) like that. The maze is always a different theme, and there are little stations with trivia (there's no prize for getting them all, as far as I can tell, but it's a fun way to make sure you get through the whole thing). They have fair food at a cart (cash only, somewhat more expensive than it should be), but I definitely recommend you swing over to the farm stand before or after for cider and donuts! read more

This corn maze is amazing!!! Marini's is far from where we live (50 minutes), but I have always wanted to do a corn maze, and I bought a Groupon. The drive was worth every minute! I have 3 kids under 9, and they all loved it too. The corn maze is top notch, and we were in it over 80 minutes. Then, included in the corn maze admission is use of 4 bouncy houses, a giant bouncy done, a huge slide, and a ton of other stuff. We were there 3 hours and could have stayed longer but it was closing. We will be back next year for sure, Groupon or no Groupon! read more

My husband and I were driving by Marini Farm and saw the corn maze sign. We spontaneously stopped in to do the corn maze and had a great time. Next year we're going to have a family competition to see who can complete the maze and clues first. I'd recommend this as a must for fall for families with kids over 6. Everybody was smiling, the staff was so happy and afterwards we selected some fresh veggies and had a piece of pastry and an old-time soda before we went on our merry way! read more
