Never even motioning just one minute, never looking up to even acknowledge we were standing there, just keep talking... my 2 year old was getting restless of course after this 15 minute wait. I made a comment about helping us and putting the person on hold- she never even looked my direction. I took my son, walked out and told her good luck with the party..:: took my son to Michael's crafts and he's painting something much cuter, cheaper and from the comfort of his home. I guess we weren't worth the $30 we were gonna spend while NO ONE else was in the whole place. We had the option to have the ceremony at the location as well but we had already planned our ceremony somewhere offsite. Steve and his team were very flexible, allowing us to view the space multiple times leading up to the big day. The Bridal Suite had just been redone and it was so beautiful! We had a total of 100 people at our wedding and it was the most perfect space for us. The string lights and the new fireplace insert really made the space feel romantic. Our DJ was able to setup his space with lights, and Steve let us bring a fog machine and bubble guns! The bar staff were amazing as well! We had three signature drinks - all of which were delicious. There is also a cute balcony where I did the bouquet toss, which was very fun! One of the best things about renting the club was that we were able to bring stuff the day before and store overnight (decorations and such). We were also able to go back the day after the wedding to pick up anything we had left the night before. This was very helpful as we weren't rushed at all. The price was also extremely fair, and if I were to do it all again I would choose the Golf Club a million times over. We wanted a cozy, rustic feel, and we had toured a few other venues that were the barn type. They were extremely overpriced and honestly didn't even come close to being as great as the Golf Club. We toured the Golf Club when a bridal shower was being setup, and as soon as we saw the space all done up we knew it was the place for us!

It's definitely more than just axe throwing. There are pool tables, an area with board games, cornhole, darts. It was overall just a fun, social vibe. As it got busier, our food came out but we didn't get plates at first. Then plates came, but no utensils. We waited a while and asked the bartender if she had any, who told us to track down the server ourselves (that was [not] fun). Eventually we got everything we needed.
