Love this place. I'm a firefighter locally and we love stopping by every now and then to enjoy their food and friendly staff. Can't go wrong with the Stromboli, Philly cheese, or pizza. Spaghetti and fettuccine Alfredo is solid as well. read more

I would highly recommend Marina's. I'm a native New Yorker and I love their pizza, from the crust, to the sauce and cheese. I come down to Florida to visit my Mom (born and raised in NYC) and we always go to Marina's for pizza! We also enjoy their garlic knots and delicious side of meat balls with that lovely sauce. We've also enjoyed their shrimp w/penne with a garlic & olive oil sauce. Additionally they pour a VERY nice glass of red wine! We've been going there for at 5+ years and have always had a great meal. Food was very average. No wow factor. What bothered me most was the lack of food handling. On our take out order our dinner salads were in styrofoam containers in a bag. The bread was just thrown in there with them. Totally unwrapped. So you know the styrofoam contains were handled while getting filled with salad and then to throw the bread in the bag with them was unsanitary. The to go bags are so thin I had trouble carrying two stacked hot meals in tin foil to the car. My hands were on fire. Get some bags with handles on larger orders. read more

I ordered a pizza online and came up to get it about 40 minutes later as instructed And it wasn't started yet. The ticket was right in the spot it was supposed to be in but no one started the pizza. I had to wait for them to make the pizza and that took over 20 minutes more. They didn't even offer to comp out a drink or anything. Very poor service read more

This place is great! Relaxed environment to sit and eat inside or easy to pick up to go. We have been twice. Once to eat there and once to go. Both times we had 4 + orders and they didn't get mixed up or anything. I was pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes and food was yummy. We had the veggie pizza, the caprese, the spaghetti and meatballs and the marinas salad. All of it was delicious and we will be ordering the same things when we go back. I have to say that a couple of years ago the food was much better. It is the common theme in so many restaurants around the Bradenton area. They start off good and seem to decline over time. This is also the case with this restaurant. We use to order the pizza and a meatball sub consistently and it was pretty good definitely 3 to 3 1/2 stars. At this point my family and I would go out of our way to order pizza from somewhere else. The food has declined and so has the service unfortunately. I love this place my new favorite restaurant in the area. I just got back from New York and this pizzas is the closest thing you're going to find. Ranks up there with the best. Just ok, got the white pizza and the crust is so thin and not much cheese so what else is there for $14? I don't get the bad reviews. I work pretty close to Marina's a couple of times a week and have gotten pizza about every other week for over a year. Whole Pies to bring back to the house for everyone & I have never had a bad experience. I'm a Jersey boy that knows his pizza. I can't speak for the subs here and the Salads I must admit are not that special. But I come for the pizza & I haven't had better pizza than this in Florida. So not happy with our last pizza...we didn't eat at the restaurant we ordered it to go. So the topping were REALLY sparse!! I asked for fresh mushrooms and it was a small pie but if you put all the shrooms together you'd get maybe 2 small shrooms. The cheese was also lacking and so was the sauce which made the pie really DRY. My daughters pie was to be with sausage but it too was sparse and dry. I have to say I am thinking that we are going to be taking our business elsewhere if this keeps up! read more

Their food is decent. The philly cheesesteak is one of their better items. However, their service is absolutely horrible. Rude and slow workers are rampant. I've given them a few tries over the past 2 years, and every time I am reminded never to go back in. When the store is empty, they will take more than 40 minutes to get your water, and a bit longer for your food. Did I mention that 2 slices of pizza will run you $8? Very overpriced.
