Took me a minute to figure it out. Asked a local at the bar. We grabbed a menu and a seat and began to read. Pizza or wings and we decided on both....the pizza never made it to a photo op, the wings were the star of this luncheon show! Wings were hot, crispy, saucy, Buffalo preparation hands down!!! We did not know it was self service plateware, silverware, to go boxes etc all set up at a station....very convenient! Counter service was very helpful and also very kind. I heard her interactions with customers before me...just endearing to know helpful people exist. The restaurant itself grew in size from my last visit and I hope to return for a Bills game soon!! We have been coming here for years. Today, one of the owner's children took our order. She was far more polite than many adults!!! We always order pizza, which we did (waiting on that as I write). We know it's going to be delicious, because it always is. While waiting, I enjoyed a small Greek salad. Loaded with feta, tomatoes and colossal black olives. Tough call here. I will start by saying I'm a little biased and the fact that I really wanna love this place. In the past I've had pizza from here and it was very good. However yesterday night we decided to actually stop in and eat in the restaurant. I'm basing my review mostly on that visit, because I think the three stars I left give strength to the pizza which alone probably would rank higher. First off, there is no table service. There's a single person taking orders next to the bar in a poorly designated area. The line was at least five deep and not moving quickly. Once seated at the table, due to the lack of table service there was no one to help refill a draft beer, so it was back to the long line. That alone is a huge disappointment in such a busy place! I was super excited to see they had wings that were from the grill instead of the fryer. Unfortunately by the time they arrive which was extremely long after even the pizza arrived, I found them to be very artificial flavor. I'm not sure if it's a dirty grill or fake smoke liquid that they're adding but it is a very awkward flavor. Certainly not something I would try again and I'm a huge fan of grilled wings. We did a meat lover pizza and it came out piping hot and was delicious. No complaints there. read more

I'm from Buffalo NY, where this pizza shop originated, so I was super excited to try this place out. I live in Naples and drove over 2 HOURS to come here, that's how excited I was. I was a bit displeased that the server was not more excited that there were Buffalo natives were in the restaurant that day. Not sure if having Buffalonians dining here was a normal thing but I guess I expected more conversation around our origin. The pizza was average. The sauce did not have a flavor at all and seemed very watery. The crust was a little on the thin side as well compared to what I'm used to from Buffalo. The stuffed peppers were pretty good but also had spinach in them which was a bit unusual, but a good touch. Overall I would not drive here again. Casa Di Pizza is a great place! The owner is a nice genuine guy and the employees are always very friendly. The wings, pizza, calzones, and Beef on Weck are all very good. Great draft beers. We haven't ventured too far away from those things because we generally always come here when we're looking for Pizza and Wings. They really shine with their wings. They have both traditional deep fried wings and also a selection "from the pit", which taste smoked. if you like hot this is the place for you. Their mild is, in my opinion, what most place's serve as their medium. Keep that in mind when you order. Our personal favorites are the mild (deep fried), mango habanero (from the pit), and the chiavetta's (from the pit). The chiavetta's are the most unique wings and may not be to everyone's taste, but we love them. They have a tangy smokey flavor and are not hot at all. Pizzas are always cooked perfectly (at least they way we like them). A slightly crispy crust. If you've been here in the past and thought it was small inside I have some good news. They just recently tripled their seating capacity by taking over the spot next door. They now have more restrooms, a self-serve fountain soda machine, and lots of TVs (but not turned up loud). Anyone from Buffalo knows this place doesn't have the greatest reputation in Buffalo for pizza. Never did. Local Buffalonians thought the Elmwood place was "okay". But, we're not in Buffalo, so we need to adjust expectations further. Food is "decent", but it's no Bocce, or La Nova, or Mister Pizza. It's decent. That's it. What is markedly worst, is the service! Come on Kevin, hire some people that know how to run the front-end. Your team is more focused on looking busy, rather than looking at customer's tables and getting food on the table quickly. Who knew it could take 50 mins to get a pizza? Suggestion: your team all wear Casa apparel. But since "Buffalo" has such a positive impact on your business, why not give 'em some "Buffalo" (Sabres, Bills) gear too? Your WNY customers would like that. read more
