The food truck works if you need something quick, but it feels overpriced for the quality and doesn't elevate the overall experience. The staff has always been friendly and upbeat, which we appreciate. There is also a manager/owner presence that can come across a bit cocky at times, but that's not the main issue here. The bigger frustration is that this place has so much potential--it has the space, the vibe, and the crowd. It could easily be a standout spot if there were more attention put into expanding the drink selection, improving quality, and creating a more well-rounded food experience. People not only bring their own fur kids but will take a dog out of the shelter for a few hours and bring them out. It's very heartwarming. Inside is clean. It was rested in Buffalo trace bourbon barrels, and while the buffalo trace is not very pronounced, you still get the flavor, especially after it warmed a little bit. I liked it so much I took a crowler home with me to enjoy. There was a New Haven style pizza truck that people came specifically for. If we didn't have other dinner plans, we would've stayed to try it. The outside seating area is cozy and there's bags there too to play. It looked like there was someone coming in to do trivia night?
