Sun King has some really great beers! Their Beach lite lager is perfect to take on the beach. They have 2 cream ales which are also very good. Just a very good hidden gem brewery in Florida!

Love this place. Owner is super talented and you must try a taste of something you might not have ever thought you'd like. (Even if you're not a beer drinker, you might be pleasantly surprised) His descriptions of each beer is spot on. A few big award winners as well. I I think there's some wine slushies too. I'll try that next. I just love a craft beer and this place hits the spot for me. It's a comfy place for locals to hang out and even bring their pets. We followed Dan Apizz and that's how we ended up at Sun King. What fantastic treat to have amazing beer to go along with New Haven Connecticut style pizza.

If you're in Sarasota, you have to stop at Sun King brewery. They have IPAs, Sours, Lagers, Porters, Cream Ales. They're all very good. And Brett is very attentive and makes sure your glass is never empty. The back patio is breezy and relaxing.

We were a little bit early for the Orioles baseball game, so went over to this brewery. So nice to sit outside and enjoy some drinks. Hubby tried the mystery flight for five dollars and found a couple that he liked. We had a bag of pretzels and I had a kombucha. We enjoyed watching people coming in and out, filling their growlers. Service was great!

My husband and I lived walking distance from Sun King in Indianapolis for 4 years, so we were obviously stoked when we came on vacation to Sarasota and were able to have a Sun King fix! This location reminds us of the Indy one, just on a smaller scale. The staff was extremely attentive & friendly- we loved Zack working at the bar when we came on Tuesday night for bingo night. Bingo night is such a fun activity to offer at the brewery- it's a nice break from trivia for those that may not be gifted academically haha. Although the location doesn't offer any food, there was indeed a food truck parked outside to serve patrons! We brought in our own takeout & enjoyed it with our draft. The taproom is dog-friendly- but you've gotta keep your furry friends outside. The taproom is kid friendly & also offers some board games for guests to play. My only suggestion would be to consider some low table options inside for guests that may come in and be restricted to a wheelchair and can't sit with others at a high top. Although there are tables at regular height offered outside. We had such a great time enjoying beers we used to regular in Indiana & can't wait to come back and visit again to see the news beers they'll release!

Good customer service, friendly bar staff. Lots of styles on tap. Small taproom but good seating for small and large groups. Walking distance to Ed Smith Stadium.

Really wanted to like this place, but every beer we tried tasted old/flat. May give it another try, vibe was decent.

Really nice beer, a cool warehouse aesthetic and nice service. The darker beers, despite the name of the brewery, were our favorite

Nice place with good beer, but they do need fans for their outside seating. We would have stayed longer if we hadn't been so hot.

There ain't nothing remotely close to this place in Palmetto FL. Unique flavors in a unique brewery. It is a small venue, but they have done great with the space. And there is an outside area as well. Service here is always great. This is only my 2nd or 3rd time here, but a keep coming back when I am in the area because the beer and service is constantly great. They have wine as well as beer. The BEER: Tiki Sour 8.5% ABV... Pinacolada slushy sour. This would taste so good as a frozen slushy, sneaky good Lunch Break: PB&J sour 6.5% ABV... super sweet and a little syrupy, but quite delicious Payroll Chocolate Peanut Butter porter 4% ABV... imagine a dark chocolate Reese cup and that is what you have. Death, Taxes ard Lagers helle bock? 7.1% ABV... criso, slightly boozy, like a higher ABV helles, it was fantastic I will eventually add more to this review, but sorry I am too busy enjoying this beer.

This was a very popular spot on a Saturday afternoon. We walked into a packed dining/bar area and…read morenoticed a sign stating that the patio would be closed off for a private event for Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month. We later saw them setting up tents and a bounce house. It looked really fun. We found ourselves a spot near the perimeter of the room and began reviewing the menu. There are a lot of varied options available to please any palate. We are at a brewing company, but I don't really like beer, so I opted for the Pirate's Punch cocktail. It was fruity and very reminiscent of a classic rum punch. Hubby likes light beer, so he ordered the 16oz Celebration Light Lager at the suggestion of our server, Missy. He enjoyed it very much. The vibe was very casual, social and fun. They have table and board games available for you to play with friends and I'm pretty sure that had the patio been open, they had some outdoor games available as well. There was music playing and folks talking and celebrating birthdays, so it was a little loud, but not annoyingly so. It was very upbeat and sunny to match the beautiful day. I was torn between The Big Salad, which my body was so desperately craving, and the Queens Calzone, my heart's desire! So you know I had to order both, and I topped the salad with grilled salmon! What?! We were on vacation! I'm not sure if the salad was big, or if the plate was just small, but I ate half of it there and took the other half home. The salmon was cooked nicely and the salad and dressing was refreshing. The calzone was crisp on the outside, but the cheese wasn't quite melted on the inside. I took a couple of "taster bites" but opted to take the rest home to be reheated and properly melted. I shared some with my husband as well and he observed that the bites just weren't balanced. I agreed. One bite was a stack of chopped ham and nothing else. Another would be completely different. I wish the filling would've been mixed and spread throughout so that you could get some of everything in each bite. I was most impressed by what my husband ordered. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but he loves my cooking so much that restaurant fare does not usually float his boat. He ordered the Korean Noodle Bowl with Shrimp and he absolutely loved it! I noticed at least two other people at surrounding tables having that dish as well, so it must be popular. He loved the level of heat and flavor. He wanted to "dog it down" but saved a small portion for me to try later, just as research and development for me to reverse engineer it and create for him at home! I love the challenge and the inspiration. Any meal that can impress him gets two thumbs up from me! He felt that it needed a little something on the side, so he also ordered some crostini for dipping. They sell beer steins, stickers, buttons, hats, t-shirts, etc. and we saw some t-shirts that we liked (Oktoberfest themed), so we grabbed those as well. They ran us about $30 each, but it will help us commemorate our time in the area. Overall, we enjoyed some good food in a fun atmosphere and would definitely return if ever in the area again.

You can tell that the servers here take pride in what they do and it consistently shows. It is the only brewery within about 20-30 minutes. It is right off of I-4, has plenty of parking and if you have an EV, there are charging stations in their parking lot. It has been a while since I reviewed this brewery and I can honestly say Celebration Brewing is one of my favorites. Heck, it is the only brewery anywhere near Disney. Celebration Brewing Company is no different from anything in life, eventually it has to change. Some changes have made me happy, while others have left me both sad, disappointed and confused. Mostly sad though. Let's start with all the great things they have going on here. First, this is like a restaurant which has great craft beer, specialty cocktails, wine and spirits. I wouldnt say a full bar, but they can accomplish most mixed drinks and have a few specialty cocktails of their own. There is both inside and outside seating and plenty of it, as well as seating at the bar. As far as decor, the BEER sign is iconic. There are so many photos opportunities here. And, despite what I am about to say, Celebration Brewing Co is a solid 4 stars consistently. Now I will talk about some of my personal concerns about the brewery. This is my whine time disclaimer. To start, the food has been hit or miss, but mostly a hit. Their burgers and wings are consistently good. They do change their menu as places do from time to time and the things I really loved about the last menu were recently swapped for less tasty versions. To be exact, the pasta and pizza are not as good. And there is one pizza they had called JAMMIN (absolutely amazing) which they changed to FiG Etabouitit. The latter has a similar combination of ingredients, but is lacking and pales in comparison to the original. The new version is just overly sweet, while JAMMIN was savory, sweet and well balanced. You could actually taste the fig jam before, while the new version legit just tastes like honey. They told me it had fig jam on it, but unless the fig jam they are using now is mostly honey, I am not buying it. The new version is a fail. Lastly, they brew a lot of decent beer here which tastes like what it should be. The Belgians are not as good as I remember, but everything else from lagers to stouts to IPAs, decent representation. Every once in a while though, they come up with some bangers which I absolutely fall in love with (Like GINGY SNAPS), but when I return they have moved onto some other innovative beer. Leaving me feeling like that kid whose parents got divorced and it's all my fault (because I didnt support that beer as consistently as I should). So that is my 2 cents. Hope this helps.
