I was REALLY excited to try Olive and Dough. For background I'm originally from Massachusetts, where we have a very specific style of pizza, New England Greek Style pizza. I read the description of Olive and Dough and saw some of the photos of their pizza and thought this might be the closest thing to New England Greek style pizza here in Florida. I was going in with high expectations and Olive and dough did not disappoint. The dough is perfect, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, the underside of the pizza is perfectly crisp. I thought it had good flavor and came out fast. If I'm nit picking I would like a little more tang/spice/flavor to the sauce, but honestly that's looking for something to critique. The cheese was bubbly and the toppings were fresh. I would definitely go back and try more pizza combinations. We also got the garlic knots and they were really good. I was happy to find something that reminded me of the pizza houses back in Mass here in Florida, it's such an oddly specific style you don't often find it outside of New England. I am excited to try their sandwiches an calzones as well. The only thing I wish they had was more seating, the only indoor seating is bar style and the only tables are outside ( something we weren't aware of on our visit) it would be great if they had a larger space with booths. However even without the seating it's definitely a great addition to the area and I look forward to going back to try more of their menu items. read more

Ordered 2 subs and they were mid at best. We felt like the food was delivered by a food distributor, heated up and put on a plate. No unique flavors and seemingly no effort to make the dishes unique to this business. I doubt we'll give it a second chance. read more

Chicago girl here! Not much can be said about pizza in Florida. We tried Olive & Dough and found it to be terrific! There are about 8 different varieties of pizzas ready to purchase by the slice, not just your basic 2-3. I'd be there again tonight except there's only 1 small table and then a counter bar. I'm hoping they do so well that they'll open a sit down place! Well worth trying!! read more

Like many who moved here from Chicago we longed for good Pizza. Olive and Dough is excellent. We had the large Special pie and side salad. Other people were having the Chicken Wrap and Voda Penne with Chicken. Both look very good. This is our new fav for Italian carryout. read more

As New Yorkers we have not been able to find a pizza spot down here but this new spot absolutely delivered. We loved that they offer slices to go right at the counter, and not just your standard options/ many specialty slices! The pizza itself was great . The dough was light, fresh, and perfectly balanced--classic New York style without being too heavy or too thin. I really hate leaving negative reviews. Normally, if the food is mediocre or the service is disappointing, I simply don't go back. But after spending what we did here, I felt compelled to share our experience. We ordered through DoorDash on a Friday night. Based on the photos, ratings, and menu prices, we had high expectations. This is not inexpensive Italian food, and at these prices we expected quality ingredients and attention to detail. The food arrived warm, which was a good start. First up were the mozzarella sticks at $18. They looked homemade, which was promising, but the first bite was a major disappointment. The cheese had a rubbery texture and lacked the rich, creamy flavor you expect from quality mozzarella. Instead, it tasted like a lower-grade cheese product. Next was the large cheese pizza. Unfortunately, it suffered from the same issue. The cheese was chewy and rubbery rather than soft and flavorful. The crust looked over-proofed and lacked the texture, flavor, and character that make a great pizza memorable. Honestly, it reminded me more of a convenience-store pizza than something from a premium Italian restaurant. We almost never throw pizza away, but most of this one ended up in the trash. The garlic knots were another miss. The dough itself wasn't bad--in fact, it may have been the best dough item we received--but they were overwhelmed by what tasted like inexpensive olive oil with a bitter aftertaste. The garlic flavor was barely noticeable, which is surprising considering they're garlic knots. Finally, the chicken parmesan. At $33, we expected something special. What arrived was a single chicken breast covered in sauce and the same rubbery cheese found on the other items. It wasn't terrible because of one specific thing--it was disappointing because it never delivered on the quality the price suggested. What makes this experience frustrating is that so many of these issues are fixable. Great pizza doesn't require complicated ingredients. A flavorful crust, high-quality mozzarella, a standout sauce, fresh garlic, and a good olive oil can completely transform a meal. When you're charging premium prices, customers expect premium ingredients. I truly wanted to love this place. The reviews and photos convinced us to give it a try, and I was excited to find a new Italian restaurant to support. Unfortunately, the food simply didn't live up to the reputation or the prices. I wish the restaurant success, but based on this experience, there are far better pizza and Italian options in the area. read more

Great crust, cheese, sauce. Oder was out fast as well and the people are super nice. Only reason it's not a 5 star is I think the sausage is bland. Better sausage, this is some of the best pizza in the area. I'm going back to try the pepperoni and I'm sure I'll love it! read more

Mediocre at best. $15 small calzone was mostly thick bread and some cheese. Cheese is definitely mid grade and nothing to talk about. About the same food as Publix. Cute shop and Ok service but food is sadly under achieving. read more

Went there twice now and loved every single thing we got! We tried the trio pizza, pepperoni pizza and the meat lovers calzone. ALL so so so delicious! The perfect crust. I also tried the buffalo chicken wrap and the wings. Although I wish the buffalo wrap had shredded carrots in it it's still a 5/5 star for me. Just personal preference! Will be returning!! read more

I've tried a pizza and three different items on their menu this week and the pizza was by far and away the Best of the four. Their menu prices Are High but the flavors were just okay/mid - their meatballs and chicken cutlets lacked flavor and we were disappointed after paying that much for lackluster meals. read more

Once we realized the owners are from Connecticut we had to give Olive and Dough a try. We have never had great pizza in Florida since we have moved here 24 years ago. This pizza is the best! You must give it a try. We have ordered a few different pizzas but our favorite is Hamburg, mushroom, extra cheese and sauce. You will love the pizza here! read more

Food was ok. I did an online order. Got there a little before the time they gave and the food was a little cold by the time I got home (I live 10 minutes away). The service and ambiance were good but they seemed a little expensive and I ordered the chicken Alfredo calzone and I thought it came with Alfredo sauce but it came with marinara instead. Was a little disappointed. They just opened though so I will definitely give them another chance. read more

Just tried several of their slices and was really impressed. You could tell the dough was really fresh and absolutely love how you just get slices to go which for some reason a lot of places down here don't do. Will be back to try the wraps and hero's! read more
