We love Michaelangelos, and find it exceptionally convenient that you can place your order online. The wait is never long and the pizza is always hot with fresh ingredients. Oh, man. This was not a great experience at all. The toppings were lopsided on the pizza, it was bland with no taste to it, only one out of the four people who ate it even remotely thought it was decent. The rest of us thought it was pretty gross. Friendly service and excellent Italian food. Their pizza ranks among the best in this area. We go for the thin crust cheese, pepperoni, or veggie pizza. All are 5*. Lunch menu not only has pizza, but excellent sandwiches such as meatballs, chicken parm, and Italian sub. Served with soup or salad. Minestrone is my favorite. My nephew asks to come here almost once a week so when I came to visit him I had to see what the fuss was about. It's a small Italian restaurant with family-like service, good pizza and yummy chicken parm sandwiches. The seating was indoors with enough tables for about 10 families. I had some of the recommended soup with cheese filled pasta and veggies and was pleased with my election. In both visits (yes I came twice), I couldn't help but order the chicken cutlet sandwich... so basic but so good! We live Michelangelo's! read more

We ordered to go last night and it was amazing! The food was ready sooner than anticipated which was nice. The Stromboli and meatballs were perfectly hot and well balanced flavors. My wife and I stopped in for lunch and we were very happy we did. A co worker told me about this place. As you walk up you can already smell the yummy food. We ordered a large pizza bacon sausage pepperoni.the pizza was excellent. Definitely can tell fresh toppings fresh sauce excellent pizza. We've been to a number of pizza places in and around Bradenton and the pizza here was DELISH! Started with the antipasto salad and it did not disappoint. Just the right amount of everything in it. And then my favorite, NY pizza. The slice was simple one of the best that I have had. Hubby got the spinach and grandma. Both good, but IMO not as much as mine. And a shout out to our server Trent! Not to be preachy nor cast opinions from above high but as a NYC guy, I've had most all pizza experiences available. The great DiFara - sucked, Spumoni Gardens - overrated and some pizza institutions that held up well in my opinion, ill withhold the names for times sake. And I had the pleasure and disappointments to eat pizza from coast to coast, so many states do their "NYC style" takes, (New Jersey pizza is excellent) we're all familiar with the use of names and attempts at styles. Michaelangelo's 301s Sicilian pizza pie had it all, it was beautiful to see and once I popped the lid I stated at it for a bit - mangare. Both of the Sicilian pies I ordered to go were massive in scale with beautiful quality cheese a top, my non Italian friends say "mutz", morons, but im beginning to find a home for that terrible term. Terrible cheese shall be mutz but Michaelangelo's uses Mozzarella, say it proudly as it was beautifully melted. Both times I ordered, I chose to only get extra cheese as my topping, but now with full confidence, I'll step up my selections to adorn this masterpiece with a mostly clear canvas. A way above average crust with light and fluffy dimpled bottom. I'm a corner and a side slice guy, I like to savor the bread as I'm a bread guy. Don't discount tasting the pizza cool or room temperature, it's a real test and Michaelangelo's delivered the highest marks again on that test. The salad guy on my first go round has an off night and a day later I called to mention this. The level of care and professionalism that the manager regarded me and my question with was probably the best experience I've had in and customer service arena. He didn't know me, I wasn't a regular and he didn't know my YELP stature - I'll not go into detail but I was taken care of and I'll not go anywhere else for pizza and I intend on eating just about everything else on their menu, I sure with I got the chance to thank him personally. read more

If the amount of foot traffic and to go orders on a Tuesday evening is indicative of good food then this place has it. It's a Pizza Place with seating and an outside area. It's small inside and busy. The menu offers many choices of Italian dishes, appetizers and of course pizza. Service was good and our server helpful and friendly. We had the bruschetta appetizer which came late because of a new chef training in the Kitchen we were told. It was just ok as the topping lacked any real taste and the thick sliced Italian bread it was on was somewhat overdone. Pizza and yes that's why we came in the first place. Honestly one of then best we have had in Florida since we moved here. Real New York style with an excellent crust and just enough oil to remind you of NY pizza. All in all a great experience and next time we'll try the garlic knots which looked like small baseballs. read more

My husband and came into this place very hungry after a long afternoon out. Although it's a small establishment there was plenty of seating. The service was friendly but the food was boring and lackluster. It didn't taste bad- just nothing special. We ate and were no longer hungry so I'm grateful for that. She took great care of us and was efficient and friendly. The menu is large, but we wanted to try the pizza again. We ordered a crumbled sausage (you must specify or you get sausage balls), pepperoni and onion. The pizza is huge and the toppings this time were ample. Just to be fair, this a review of 2 items of a to go order. We called in a large Sicilian pizza ahead of time. The order would take about 30-45 mins. Upon arriving to the location, it was good to know that they have outdoor seating and was most likely dog friendly. The Florida humidity was not the business. When I walked in, I noticed the place was packed and all table were occupied. Whatever food I saw looked delicious such as the Calamari and Chicken Parm. There was a bit of a line for take orders as well as a line for seating. The pizza's that were on display looked sooo good I decided to give their thin slice pizza a try so, I ordered the veggie pizza which had onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, broccolini and eggplant. My go to pizza restaurant in the Parrish area. I dine there at least once per week. Their garlic knots are as good as it gets.

Ordered takeout for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago. Got 1 large cheese and 1 large pepperoni and mushroom. Both pizzas cooked very well. Even with a 20 minute drive there was some crunch left. Fresh mushrooms did not produce a soggy pie and pepperoni was nice. Cheese had copious amounts of cheese. The blend had a great taste. Best of the local places we have tried. read more
