Still the best NY/ New Haven style pizza we have had since moving here 9 years ago from CT . The crust is thin , light with just the right amount of char. The toppings are fresh and plentiful. Our server Tera was great - friendly and very efficient , it's clean , bright and all of the staff seem to enjoy working there . Only issue is the 30 min ride ..... but it's well worth it read more

Oh, man. This was not a great experience at all. The toppings were lopsided on the pizza, it was bland with no taste to it, only one out of the four people who ate it even remotely thought it was decent. The rest of us thought it was pretty gross. Need I mention it was crazy expensive? The two stars came from the one person who thought the pepperoni was decent. The rest of us threw the leftovers straight in the trash. read more

First visit did not disappoint. Had the New Yorker pizza and the Gorgonzola salad for two. Absolutely delicious! Our server Taylor was very friendly and attentive. Will be back to try the chicken and pasta dishes. read more

Absolutely the best pies around here. Great service; delivery or take out, the staff is friendly

We love Michaelangelos, and find it exceptionally convenient that you can place your order online. The wait is never long and the pizza is always hot with fresh ingredients. Highly recommend getting a grandma pie as the flavors are excellent. Good luck on a weekend night finding a spot to dine in as it's easily one of the best pizza spots in the area and everyone knows it! read more

My nephew asks to come here almost once a week so when I came to visit him I had to see what the fuss was about. It's a small Italian restaurant with family-like service, good pizza and yummy chicken parm sandwiches. The seating was indoors with enough tables for about 10 families. I had some of the recommended soup with cheese filled pasta and veggies and was pleased with my election. In both visits (yes I came twice), I couldn't help but order the chicken cutlet sandwich... so basic but so good! We live Michelangelo's! read more

Friendly service and excellent Italian food. Their pizza ranks among the best in this area. We go for the thin crust cheese, pepperoni, or veggie pizza. All are 5*. Lunch menu not only has pizza, but excellent sandwiches such as meatballs, chicken parm, and Italian sub. Served with soup or salad. Minestrone is my favorite. They do a massive take out business, but have seating on a somewhat limited basis. Highly recommend. read more

Consistency is what goes well. It's just great pizza, exactly as advertised, every single time. No drama, reasonable prices and they work really hard to maintain that. I am a pizza nut, but the friends I bring love all the other menu items as a well. The beer is cold read more

We ordered to go last night and it was amazing! The food was ready sooner than anticipated which was nice. The Stromboli and meatballs were perfectly hot and well balanced flavors. I love that we had added marinara for dipping. The Stromboli was big enough for myself and my boyfriend to share with extra leftovers! read more

My wife and I have been eating at this location since they opened in 2007. And ate there today July 17, 2026. From someone who is from a traditional Italian family partly grew up in Brooklyn New York, I can confidently say I'm an expert on good Italian food. This wonderful this wonderful restaurant has some of the best pizza, as well as Italian dishes, and a cannoli that will knock your socks off. Two managers that I held the longest are excellent, make you feel at home and one always greets me by name. read more

My wife and I stopped in for lunch and we were very happy we did. A co worker told me about this place. As you walk up you can already smell the yummy food. We ordered a large pizza bacon sausage pepperoni.the pizza was excellent. Definitely can tell fresh toppings fresh sauce excellent pizza. I would give it a 8.7 which for a pizza is excellent considering most pizzas is not even in the sevens. You want some good food stop in and give this place a try read more

We've been to a number of pizza places in and around Bradenton and the pizza here was DELISH! Started with the antipasto salad and it did not disappoint. Just the right amount of everything in it. And then my favorite, NY pizza. The slice was simple one of the best that I have had. Hubby got the spinach and grandma. Both good, but IMO not as much as mine. And a shout out to our server Trent! Friendly and very attentive. Small place, very clean, friendly atmosphere. Definitely a place to try for a good slice or more. read more

Not to be preachy nor cast opinions from above high but as a NYC guy, I've had most all pizza experiences available. The great DiFara - sucked, Spumoni Gardens - overrated and some pizza institutions that held up well in my opinion, ill withhold the names for times sake. And I had the pleasure and disappointments to eat pizza from coast to coast, so many states do their "NYC style" takes, (New Jersey pizza is excellent) we're all familiar with the use of names and attempts at styles. Michaelangelo's 301s Sicilian pizza pie had it all, it was beautiful to see and once I popped the lid I stated at it for a bit - mangare. Both of the Sicilian pies I ordered to go were massive in scale with beautiful quality cheese a top, my non Italian friends say "mutz", morons, but im beginning to find a home for that terrible term. Terrible cheese shall be mutz but Michaelangelo's uses Mozzarella, say it proudly as it was beautifully melted. Both times I ordered, I chose to only get extra cheese as my topping, but now with full confidence, I'll step up my selections to adorn this masterpiece with a mostly clear canvas. A way above average crust with light and fluffy dimpled bottom. I'm a corner and a side slice guy, I like to savor the bread as I'm a bread guy. Don't discount tasting the pizza cool or room temperature, it's a real test and Michaelangelo's delivered the highest marks again on that test. The salad guy on my first go round has an off night and a day later I called to mention this. The level of care and professionalism that the manager regarded me and my question with was probably the best experience I've had in and customer service arena. He didn't know me, I wasn't a regular and he didn't know my YELP stature - I'll not go into detail but I was taken care of and I'll not go anywhere else for pizza and I intend on eating just about everything else on their menu, I sure with I got the chance to thank him personally. read more

My husband and I ordered a slice each. Slices are fairly priced as well as their pies. He had a slice with sausage and I had a white slice. This place gives a New York vibe pizzeria. The dough was good nice and thin. I only give it 3 stars bc it wasn't the best white pizza I've had it had lots of extra, extra cheese with no tomato, basil or garlic. The cheese was good though. My husband's sausage slice was ok. They just sprinkled sausage on top and it didn't look like the sausage was fully cooked. The sauce was good. I'd definitely go back but will just try a plain slice. read more

Had great service and sat outdoors. I loved the fact the house wine was only $4.50 a glass. The pizza and wings were good. I have no complaints expect I didn't like they charged me a fee for using a credit card. That seems to be the trend now. We eat out a lot and carrying this much cash is a pain. They should include this "cost of doing business" payment method into their pricing structures. read more

Very friendly service excellent philly cheesesteaks. Ordered takeout and our food was still warm and fresh when we got home

If the amount of foot traffic and to go orders on a Tuesday evening is indicative of good food then this place has it. It's a Pizza Place with seating and an outside area. It's small inside and busy. The menu offers many choices of Italian dishes, appetizers and of course pizza. Service was good and our server helpful and friendly. We had the bruschetta appetizer which came late because of a new chef training in the Kitchen we were told. It was just ok as the topping lacked any real taste and the thick sliced Italian bread it was on was somewhat overdone. Pizza and yes that's why we came in the first place. Honestly one of then best we have had in Florida since we moved here. Real New York style with an excellent crust and just enough oil to remind you of NY pizza. All in all a great experience and next time we'll try the garlic knots which looked like small baseballs. read more

My husband and came into this place very hungry after a long afternoon out. Although it's a small establishment there was plenty of seating. It has been a long time since we have been here. We were a party of 8 and were lucky enough to be able to make a last minute reservation. Our server was adorable! She took great care of us and was efficient and friendly. The menu is large, but we wanted to try the pizza again. We ordered a crumbled sausage (you must specify or you get sausage balls), pepperoni and onion. The pizza is huge and the toppings this time were ample. I do wish they had cooked it longer and made the crust crispier. We had a lot to take home for leftovers. Others in our group got salad and pasta dishes and they looked very good. read more

Just to be fair, this a review of 2 items of a to go order. We called in a large Sicilian pizza ahead of time. The order would take about 30-45 mins. Upon arriving to the location, it was good to know that they have outdoor seating and was most likely dog friendly. The Florida humidity was not the business. When I walked in, I noticed the place was packed and all table were occupied. Whatever food I saw looked delicious such as the Calamari and Chicken Parm. There was a bit of a line for take orders as well as a line for seating. The pizza's that were on display looked sooo good I decided to give their thin slice pizza a try so, I ordered the veggie pizza which had onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, broccolini and eggplant. Overall both pizza's were absolutely delicious! SIDE NOTE - Pay in cash to avoid a 4% service charge read more
