The Greek salad with grilled chicken is so good and the garlic knots have been better the last few times we gotten them! First time trying penne Ala vodka. It was good, but we didn't care for the addition of the red sauce on top. It also seemed black peppery (but I liked that). My husband didn't care for the chicken BLT (he was hoping for it to be on a longer hero type sub). Meatballs and pizza are always good!

The rest of us threw the leftovers straight in the trash.

I live in New York and wanted to cater dinner for family (12 people) i have in Lakewood Ranch. I called on Wednesday wanting to order trays of food to be delivered on the past Sunday night. At first, thinking i was ordering pizzas, the manager told me they do not deliver, but when i explained my dilemma, the manager was all to happy to take care of delivery personally. I placed my order and when i went to pay, the manager asked me to call back Sunday morning to provide all the details. i was a little concerned at that, but the manager assured me she would be in and ready to take all the information for payment. When i called Sunday morning, I was told the manager was not working and my heart dropped. However, the manager that day came on and told me she had been fully apprised of what was going on, had my order ready, took payment and assured me the food would be delivered on time. My family contacted me later that evening to tell me the food arrived promptly, was great and that i chose a great restaurant to order from. I agree and cannot say enough good things about this restaurant and its managers and staff. Thank you.

NEW UPDATE!!!!! We went back for a 3rd time because our…read moreprevious experiences were so great!!!!! UNFORTUNATELY, the 3rd time was NOT the charm!!!!! Very disappointing experience tonight. My sister ordered the Greek Salad and I ordered Minestrone Soup and 1/2 dozen Clams. Pretty simple, right?? Not tonight!! My sister's salad came out and I'm waiting, and waiting, AND waiting for my soup!!!! Never arrived.....FINALLY, after waiting for more than 10 minutes for my soup, my CLAMS arrived, but no soup!!!! I expected the soup first, then the clams!!!! When our server, Shellianna arrived, she only brought the clams....no soup!!! When I asked about the soup, she looked like she totally forgot that I ordered it!!!! Now, it was a Friday and they were fairly busy, but the 2 previous times we were there it was also busy. Lucky for us, as I mentioned in my prior reviews, we had Kyle, who was much more on the ball!!! I asked to see the manager (sorry, I didn't get her name) and she apologized, and agreed the our server dropped the ball. She asked what she could do to make it right, so my sister asked for a new salad as this one was soggy since the dressing was already on it, and she was waiting for me to get my soup. I had my baked clams, that were so good, I ordered another 1/2 dozen!!! Our issue is NEVER about the food!!!! One suggestion, though....if you're gonna serve those small clams, a SEAFOOD FORK would be VERY helpful.....regular forks are too large.

Pizza Napoletana come si deve fare!…read more We came to Antonio's Pizza Pit after a long day of walking, touring and doing a museum day in Sarasota. We were a pretty big group with lots of hungry children and adults. Emphasis on the hungry. Definitely came to the right place! When you first pull up, you can't really tell what you're getting into since from the outside it's pretty unassuming. Well, you're definitely in for a surprise. Not only is this a pizza shop but also your dessert spot! Hear me out: pizza AND donuts??? What other combo (besides bread and nutella) could there be?? Their personal pizza is the perfect size for you to enjoy alone (esp if you're hungry) but can also be shared if you're saving room for a craft donut. We were pretty hungry and each ordered a pizza: Quattro formaggi and a margherita (only $10). The pizza here is made only with the freshest ingredients and it's for sure some of the best authentic Italian pizza you will eat in the area. The place is simple: you order at the register, wait for Antonio to make his magic and sit at one of the tables. No waiters, no fuzz, just delicious high quality pizza. Absolutely obsessed with this place, our huge group loved it and it's absolutely worth every bite. From the labor of love it's made with to the ingredients to the caffè at the end. Be sure to save space for a donut from Jack's Donuts, they share counter space and you'll thank me later :) Grazie mille Antonio, sei stato bravissimo e ci siamo sentiti a casa con la pizza che ci hai fatto. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare.

I'm not a pizza fan because carbs make me feel bloated and heavy. However, Antonio's food is an exception. His pizzas are Naples style pizzas. The dough is thin and light. Even for someone with carb sensitivity like myself can enjoy something so delicious without feeling horrible afterwards. His freshly made focaccia is also superb. You could ask for a custom pizzas and he'll gladly oblige your imagination. Will return every time I'm in Sarasota. Super casual space saves on rent. Food is as delicious as at his previous location.
