Special - shrimp avocado salad
Terrilyn L.

This pizza/Italian spot checks all the boxes. They have great slice options at the front of house, my favorite is the Vodka sicilian, deeellliiicciouss!!! Chicken rolls are fresh and have a nice hearty flavor. The regular pizza slices and garlic knots are good as well. staff is decent and always offer prompt service. establishment is always clean and I love this part!!!! The restaurant in the back offers a nice service for Italian entrees. Prices are moderate to high, but this is 2024 a slice is like 4 bucks. loved this winter special shrimp corn avocado salad. Shrimp were excellent and the salad was good, although it was not large.

It was my first time coming to Marinara this week, and I will be coming back! The menu has so many options, but I tried the Grilled chicken caesar wrap. It was made fresh and it was a 10/10. The size was filling and it was perfectly coated with the dressing. The pizza slices as well were really good. Next time I'll definitely be trying the buffalo chicken slice. The service was nice and fast, and although I took the food home, the restaurant is spacious and clean. I recommend !

This is my go to spot in Hewlett for Pizza with everything on it! They have good dinners too like shrimp parmigiana with spaghetti & and salad & bread! Sides of really good garlic spinach and they have sausage hero's or dinners with spaghetti!! Delicious eggplant if your vegan and the garlic knots are just yummy! Eat in or pick up u won't go wrong! I've been coming here for years and not one mistake and I do take out a lot! They pack everything up carefully so there's no mess in your car! Tell them Shasha sent you lol

Eggplant parmigiana.

Stopped in one Thursday around 5:30pm with a group. The glass case in front was full of the most appetizing pizzas, garlic knots, and dishes. We were seated promptly and served bread baskets; delicious, especially the bread sticks, seasoned with oil (maybe butter) and spices. The service was excellent; quick and courteous. I had the eggplant parmigiana. Although good, I wished that they would have breaded the eggplant, the way my mother used to make. But it was absolutely delicious, smothered with sauce and melted mozzarella. The marinara sauce on the side of penne that came with the eggplant parmigiana platter I ordered (it's $1.50 extra if you choose it over the pomodoro) was spectacular; so savory and rich. Everyone in the group ordered something different and it all looked amazing. The Rigatoni Campania looked awesome - I'll probably order that the next time I go. Someone else at the table ordered Pasta Bolognese - so meaty looking. It was all good here... Yep, I'll be back!

Delicious margarita pizza and a sicilian pizza.

We went to Marinara for lunch during our recent trip to NY. We have been there for dinner before, but this was our first lunch. We had the Sicilian pizza and it was delicious. The crust isn't super thick and the pizza was delicious! Living in FL we were so excited to have great pizza. Everyone we came in contact was super friendly and helpful. The place was hopping...take out & dine in. Lunch does not have table service. You walk up, order, pay and then someone will bring it to you. I wish I was still in NY as I want more pizza.

You really can't go wrong with Marinara. Good pizza, better pasta, excellent baked clams. Lunch or dinner, you'll love your meal!

Any time I am up here in NY I have a list of things I really want to eat that are not quite the same at home. Pizza is one of them. Now I know this is a Sicilian pizza, but it also not like what I can get at home. It way better! At home it would be super thick, way to much bread. Here it's no thick like its a loaf of bread and its not paper thin like a round Pizza. Its just right! We got our pie with mushrooms and pepperoni on half. The picture says it all. What an awesome Pizza!

There is no consistency here. One day you may receive a great pie and the next day a horrible pie.

I'm driving back from Maryland and I planned to stop at Via Cuma for lunch…read more I understand Via Cuma is a not by the slice pizza shop, it's more authentic with a personal size pizza. I parked across the street (make sure you feed the parking meter) and walked inside. I'm assuming it was the owner, I said I'm so hungry and was asked to grab any open table. The restaurant is cozy with multiple tables which can be adjusted to fit a large or small party. The owner comes over with an iPad, I just want a glass of wine with lunch. No bueno, I don't think they have a liquor license. I ordered a coke instead. This word is tripping me up, I know it's devilish, Diavola? I make the sign of the cross as I order this pizza. The owner explains this is his favorite pizza, I can see why. The Diavola Pizza is made with San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Hot Soppressata Salame from Calabria and topped with Parmigiano Reggiano cheese along with a drizzle of Olive Oil. This is a pizza that's more heavenly than devilish. There's some heat coming from various ingredients but it's welcomed. The sourdough is something that's interesting, I had this dough in Syosset last week. Is this a new trend? It brought the pizza to another level, there's more complexity with the imported ingredients. I also appreciated the cheese, I should have asked if it was made in-house. Via Cuma, great pizza the other day! Thanks for the Italian lesson on pronouncing Diavola

Via Cuma is cozy and well decorated with authentic Italian culture from the wall tiles to the scenic artwork. We decided to order the wings and fritto misto for appetizers. The wings came with a flavorful lemon pepper dipping sauce that had the perfect kick to it. We also got the Capricciosa pie. You can't go wrong with prosciutto and artichoke! Overall it was a great experience. Parking is tough so leave time to find a spot. We are excited for their second location to open.
