7-13-26. I grew up in the area and used to frequent this place quite a bit. It's been a few years since my last visit. This was the first place I was introduced to my favorite slice of all time (the chicken Marsala slice). So naturally, I had to order one of those and also grabbed a regular slice. Slices are bigger than average and the food is definitely better than average. Saw a few of the same faces behind the counter from many years ago. They may have some more gray hair then they had a while back, but the quality of the pizza is still on point. Plenty of seating in a casual atmosphere. My first time ordering at Rosa's and I will definitely be coming back. The staff is very friendly, with a wide variety of different pizzas nice seating area, very clean. I ordered a regular slice and buffalo chicken slice to go, but I didn't want it warmed up (waited until I got home). It came to $9.15. Today I went in to buy a slice a pizza. A young African American teenager came to the pizzeria looking for a pizza pie, drink, etc. The owner/older guy in the front accused the teen of wanting to steal the pizza pie. The teen showed the guy that the pie was already paid online and asked if he could get the 2 liter soda and put it in his bookbag. The owner/older guy in the front agreed. When he put it in the bookbag he once again accused the teen of stealing. This is the second time. This time, he accused him of stealing a bottle. He said what the bottle of water. The owner said yes the teen took it out and showed him that it was his because he had already drank from it and you could tell. The teen then said why would i want to steal a drink or water. He responded I dont know. FYI the teen was polite and spoke softly. It is unacceptable to accuse people twice of stealing with absolute no prove and it was disgusting. I will NEVER again go to buy anything from that pizzeria. It is unacceptable to treat people like that with no evidence. What if that kid didn't drink from his personal water bottle. That owner/old man on the cash register would have called the police over water that he bought into the store. I would not like this to happen to my son. Shame on you! It was my wife's birthday, and we just happened to be in town to visit my family. My wife wanted New York-style pizza, and my sister suggested Rosa's pizzeria. We ordered two large pies, one with just cheese and the other with pepperoni for the kids. The pizza was delicious from the first bite, and that made me really happy because my wife and everyone else enjoyed it, too. The service was good even though the restaurant was filled with customers waiting. This was my first time visiting this pizzeria and felt the look and feel of the place was spot-on in comparison to traditional pizza spots. One of my favorite Italian spots. So much so, they know who I am when I call to place an order for take out. Been a fan for well over 10 years now.. The food is delicious and they have a variety of pizza, although my go-to is always the chicken parm. The sauce is very flavorful and is not always consistent in taste, but it's always good either way. Their homemade bread is yummy and I prefer that over the Italian bread they often give. They'll sometimes make it upon request which is cool. Other favs are the hot wings, white pizza and Cesar salad slice. They're the only pizza joint that I've seen have salad pizza.
