7-13-26. I grew up in the area and used to frequent this place quite a bit. It's been a few years since my last visit. This was the first place I was introduced to my favorite slice of all time (the chicken Marsala slice). So naturally, I had to order one of those and also grabbed a regular slice. Slices are bigger than average and the food is definitely better than average. Saw a few of the same faces behind the counter from many years ago. They may have some more gray hair then they had a while back, but the quality of the pizza is still on point. Plenty of seating in a casual atmosphere. I'm probably not going to wait a few years to return. read more

Staff UNPROFESSIONAL. DO they do online ordering? one employee said yes other said no. Website gave option I order and 3 cards declined. Bank says all went thru. Ordered an eggplant slice, they sent a regular slice. Didn't ring the doorbell, had the food just sitting on the doorstep getting cold... Called said sorry we won't mess up your order next time but just deal with this order for now and eat it even though you didn't order this. Pretty crap service read more

My first time ordering at Rosa's and I will definitely be coming back. The staff is very friendly, with a wide variety of different pizzas nice seating area, very clean. I ordered a regular slice and buffalo chicken slice to go, but I didn't want it warmed up (waited until I got home). It came to $9.15. When I got home and opened the box, I was surprised by the size of the slices, which was a very nice portion size. The pizza taste great. Good service. read more

It was my wife's birthday, and we just happened to be in town to visit my family. My wife wanted New York-style pizza, and my sister suggested Rosa's pizzeria. We ordered two large pies, one with just cheese and the other with pepperoni for the kids. The pizza was delicious from the first bite, and that made me really happy because my wife and everyone else enjoyed it, too. The service was good even though the restaurant was filled with customers waiting. This was my first time visiting this pizzeria and felt the look and feel of the place was spot-on in comparison to traditional pizza spots. In all, I would eat here again and recommend them to my friends. read more

Came on here to say how absolutely rude and nasty the staff is and decided to read the reviews. Guess they do not care about people because a lot of people seem to be saying the same thing. Service matters, attitude matters. Marinara in Hewlett May be a little further for me but that is where we will always now be getting our food read more

I really wanted to love this pizzeria. I called in a order and the gentleman on the phone was super friendly. The good: -Friendly staff -Good sauces What went wrong? -The chicken cutlet taste like it was fried in burnt oil. One of my favorite Italian spots. So much so, they know who I am when I call to place an order for take out. Been a fan for well over 10 years now.. The food is delicious and they have a variety of pizza, although my go-to is always the chicken parm. The sauce is very flavorful and is not always consistent in taste, but it's always good either way. Their homemade bread is yummy and I prefer that over the Italian bread they often give. They'll sometimes make it upon request which is cool. Other favs are the hot wings, white pizza and Cesar salad slice. They're the only pizza joint that I've seen have salad pizza. First time going there and even after my 3/5 star rating (I wish I could give it 3.5), I'm going to…read moregive it another shot. We went on an Thursday and about a third of the tables were taken. The staff are very friendly but a bit scattered. It's not enough to be completely bothered by it, just to make note. They seemed to be unfocused. We even ordered Jarritos and had to remind them during our meal. Appetizers: We ordered guacamole since they make it to order and it was soooo good. Probably the best part of the meal. The chips and salsa that they give for the table were pretty good too. LOVE the smokiness of the salsa. My date ordered three separate tacos: fish, al pastor and I think chorizo. He said they were okay, nothing that really stood out to him but he did finish it. They're filling though so three was a good amount for him and he can eat up to 5 sometimes if the tacos are really good. I ordered Mole. Mole is a very difficult dish to get down. I've had really really good mole that's been stewed for hours, close to half a day. I even have the thick paste concentrate that friends have given me from Mexico as gifts cause I love Mole so much. Usually, the sauce is close to a gravy consistency, it's smokey from the chiles, not a strong heat, a hint of sweet from the chocolate, savory etc. The chicken should also be to a point where it's fork tender, you do not need much to take the meat off the bone. Tepache's mole was alright. The sauce was a little thinned out, leaned salty and made it hard for the other flavors to come through. The dish was also supposed to come with tortillas and I didn't realize till I put it in a to-go box that I wasn't given them. Twenty-five dollars for mole is a steal because it is a difficult and time consuming thing to make, but only if it's REALLY GOOD. And this one was just okay. Overall though I still want to come back and try out other menu items. I wouldn't suggest the Mole, but I am curious about other things.

My wife ordered the Salmon - Ancho honey glazed pan roasted Atlantic salmon, pineapple ginger salsa, arroz verde, sautéed spinach which she said was perfectly cooked, and I ordered Arroz Con Camarones - Sautéed Shrimps in garlic chips, green peas, roasted sweet peppers, toss in a tomato rice, platanitos which was very tasty. Our spicy margaritas were perfect too! The service was on point - friendly, professional and efficient. Nearly every table was taken with many people at the bar - which provided a lively atmosphere. We won't wait as long as last time to return, and look forward to visiting again soon.

The pizza is just okay and this place is filled with low key racism. It's so thick in the air you can cut it with a knife with these racist pricks. If you are a minority and you give these folks your money then you just made a fool out of yourself. Just watch how they interact with minorities vs whites. It's like night and day. Let's close this place down and have them move deeper into Long Island to get money from their kind. I wouldn't even trust eating from them as a minority. The bald head guy is number 1 suspect. He doesn't realize we are gifted enough to see right through him. read more

Came here with 2 different groups and both times didn't like it to my pizza standards. Garlic knots are great, got them when I was stoned. Very satisfying. read more
