Would give them zero stars if possible. These guys were contracted by Fidelity National Home…read moreWarranty to fix my gas range, which was not lighting on its own. Seemed like a fairly simple fix, just swap out the burners, which are fairly pricey for an older stove. I'd do it myself, but why pay hundreds of dollars for the replacement parts if I can pay a small service request fee to have the parts and work done all in one? I'll tell you why: because they're not competent enough to get the job done. After about 8 visits from a very nice man who just wasn't able to do the job for various reasons, ranging from ordering the wrong parts to not being able to initially disassemble the stove because there was decades of caked-on grease on the burners (not my fault, I just bought this house), and about 6 months of trying to get this fixed from our initial service request, I told these guys that I had had enough of them, had completely lost faith in their ability to do the work (I had to call Fidelity/AP Appliance multiple times after not hearing back from them for weeks/months at a time just to get them to come and try to complete the job), and wanted them to tell Fidelity that they couldn't complete the job. The dispatcher I talked to said they wanted to send another guy out, since the guy they had sent out before was new with their company. He also made it a point to tell me the first guy had many years of experience (that didn't really show), but that the second guy was even more trusted within their company. I told him his word meant nothing to me based on the incompetence of the first guy they sent out, which I think was fairly evident at that point, and he told me that was all he would do. So I basically told him to f-off. Don't waste your money with these guys. I think the repair tech we got could definitely handle many repair jobs, but ours was just not one of them (again, 8 visits over 6 months to fail to complete a fairly simple job of swapping out some burner assemblies on a gas stove). I think what is more concerning in our case though was this company's lack of any concern for driving the request forward, or any accountability for failing to do so. Perhaps they deal with home warranty requests differently than standard requests, and Fidelity Home Warranty certainly shares a fair amount of blame in this for not ensuring that the work order was progressing, but the way this was handled was completely unacceptable. And before the owner of this business decides to ask me, "well why were you so unprofessional with my dispatcher, telling him that my guys are terrible," I would tell him that I believe I am completely within my right to be unprofessional and cuss out anyone who decided to string me along for as long as they did. I had plenty of patience in the 6 months leading up to this point. No more. These guys suck.

There are lots of reviews on Yelp that are either a 1 or 5. If you have concerns about Aaero…read moreHeating, there is truly NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. They installed my heating and air conditioning system originally in 1988 and provided maintenance and repairs for next three decades, keeping it completely functioning until the compressor died from use. They just completed installation of a new heater and A/C; when the Marin County Building Inspector reviewed their work, he called it "perfect", commenting on some of the things they properly completed that are not always done by other companies. When you purchase an expensive major appliance, such as a Heater and/or A/C system, do not look for "cheapest", as you may get just that ... inferior equipment and less-experienced technicians. You can trust Aaero, who have been a fixture in the Novato business community for decades and multiple generations.

Once again, National Appliance came to our rescue…read more Our roof blew off in January, requiring months of roof repair and floor replacement. Charlie and the National Appliance team skillfully disconnected our kitchen appliances for their month long move to the garage (!), and then reinstalled them once the floors were fully in place. Today's service from National Appliance was a lot less dramatic. I called yesterday regarding our wacky washing machine. Charlie arrived today, and quickly and successfully fixed the issue. Thank you all!

I…read morejust thought it was going to be a simple light switch but I ended up waiting 10 days to hear that I needed a complete panel for my microwave. The serviceman did not want the service fee on the spot and he was at my house for less than 20 minutes. So basically I pay $230 for a 20 minute update on my microwave and understanding of what needed to be done. The company explained they have overhead to pay for that's why service call is so high. I think this is poor business practices. Its a rip off to the consumer and negative attitude to the customer.
