As soon as we entered we saw CB with a big tent and a huge selection of Hot TUbs... We met Kenny and he was super super nice.... he caught on to my skepticism of hot tubs as I owned one of a different brand prior. He was so helpful and answered all of our questions.. we wanted to look since we had just arrived at the show so he said tottally fine --no hard sales and we went about our way... but we realized quickly after looking at all the other Hot tub sales at the show that Kenny knew his stuff!! So on our way out we stopped back in, shook hands and he had a deal! He even offered to come out to our house once it was delivered and hooked up to do an orientation for us!! This was awesome!! There were some hiccups with the portion where we needed to schedule for delivery as I sent in a ton of photos even with measuring tapes in the photo -- Samantha had concerns but I told her we would make it happen. The delivery guys Fizz and his team were the BESSTTT!! They were so so nice and did a great job with no issues on our path to the slab. We just had the Hot tub wired by our electrician and I texted Kenny who came out the same day for the VIP service!! Kenny is the BEST!!!! It took almost 5 weeks to get it fixed and Jeff was not very communicative during that time.

We got a courtesy reminder the day before the technicians were scheduled to come. Zach and Tevin arrived on time and were friendly, courteous and professional. Please read this if you are thinking of buying an artificial Christmas tree from California…read moreBackyard in Roseville. They will NOT back up the product we purchased from them. We bought a really beautiful, realistic 7-foot pre-lit tree in 2023. We immediately noticed that the top tier has less lighting than the other tiers. So, the top looks weirdly dark compared to the rest of the tree when lit up. We contacted them to see about a replacement. We were told that our model was sold out, but we should contact them in 2024 when they were stocked for Christmas again. We did contact them this past November and we were finally told after numerous phone calls that due to the number and length of branches in various tree sections their manufacturer isn't able to make the lights uniform throughout the whole tree. So, a replacement tree would look exactly the same. They suggested that we purchase our own separate set of regular tree lights for the top section, but they can't be connected to the original lights so we wouldn't be able to use the remote control and the fun light effects. We asked multiple times to return the tree for a refund, but they refused. It was suggested that WE should have noticed the faulty lighting on the floor model in the showroom...during the daytime...with the display trees parked side by side just inside floor to ceiling glass windows...backlit by the sun. Their website boasts that they have designed and manufactured their own trees for 30 years so they are fully aware of this lighting issue. California Backyard does have beautiful, realistic trees. We loved one of their large pre-lit trees for many years before we decided that a smaller tree was in order so that's why we checked them out again. If you decide to shop there for an $800 tree like we did I suggest you do so on a cloudy day so it's not too bright in the showroom. Really take the time to evaluate the lighting on the trees before taking one home. Buyer beware - once you buy that tree it is yours forever!

He read an article about one a few months ago and been on the lookout for one since. Not just any ole one. But one that is white colored, having a aplain exterior, and simply designed. He saw one online at Sur La Table. So we trucked out there on a recent weekend. Sur La Table sells kitchenware that includes cutlery, cookware, cooking utensils, bakeware, food products, glassware, table clothes and linens, and small electronics. They carry well known brands such as Staub, Le Creuset, Breville, Wusthof, Shun just to name a few. And the bonus is that they offer cooking classes for a fee. On my recent visit, the staff were so darn sincere and helpful. Not intrusive. The shop is not particularly large. But as I meandered about, I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance multiples times but once by each staff member. That's customer service! So much inventory to look at. I luv kitchen shops. Anyways back to that quest for a garlic keeper. What in the heck is a garlic keeper? It's a container, with air flow, that extends the shelf life of garlic. The staff helped him locate it. They had it in stock on the shelf. It was $20. We are now proud owners of a Sur La Table garlic keeper. Cooking with fresher garlic now.

Online order that went off the rails. Placed an order for a dishwasher online to be delivered,…read moreinstalled and old machine hauled away. After I purchased the item, the order confirmation showed "pick up in store". How is that possible when I put in my home address for delivery, paid for delivery, installation and haul away of old item. Tried calling several times and could not reach anyone at the Folsom store. Finally called the 888 number for customer service. When I explained what happened, I was instructed to "in the future" to cancel the order and place it again and stating to deliver to my home. This is what I did in the first place! Then I was instructed to call back to schedule to have it installed. I informed them I would NOT be purchasing from Lowes in the future, but will go to Home Depot instead, since this has never been an issue with HD. The lack of customer service or support of what should have been a simple transaction to include allowing me to pick a date upon when it can be delivered. Very disappointed and buyer beware if you plan to try and purchase online for delivery!
