Aloha! Expectations exceeded...and we only talked over the phone! Our bbq had been broken for months as other repairs were needed in our backyard before we could tackle this problem. Because of the timing, and after MANY calls, everyone was now busy and scheduling weeks out to come take a look. John Wayne, too, was very busy but said he would contact me if some time opened up for him. It did! He made it earlier to our home than expected so I was still at work. Even though my grill was only 1 year old, I use it 2-3 times per week and it was a mess. Also, none of the igniters were working. When he cleaned the cover it didn't turn out as well so he bought a new one that wasn't tight and hard to get on. He cleaned the little holes in the burners and made sure everything worked well. John is very busy for a very good reason: He excels at the service he provides. I own two gas grills and both badly needed cleaning--I had made a half-hearted attempt to clean the grill myself last season and my wife wisely suggested hiring a professional this year. Prompt and cheerful, John agreed to come out on a Sunday provided that the Dallas Cowboys were not playing. Fortunately for me, they were not. He got down to work right away and when he was finished, both grills sparkled. John can also handle repairs. He converted one grill from gas to propane and repaired the igniter in the other (admittedly, it only needed a new battery, but it saved me from trouble-shooting the problem). What's more, I was moving one of the grills to our mountain cabin. John not only cleaned the grill, but he also disassembled the parts for easy transportation and even wrapped the separate parts in a cellophane wrap to prevent the soiling of my car. Honestly, there was no possibility of soiling the car as there was no grime left on the grill. But it did make it easier to carry the bundled parts to and from the car. Highly recommended. read more
