This review is for the great experience I had when I called Tony's Toolbox to request an appointment for an estmate. I need to fix a ceiling leak and determine why it is there! I feel that you can tell a lot about a company by talking to the person who answers the phone. Amber quickly inspired confidence in my choice of choosing this company to contact. She answered the phone immediately, was professional and listened to me carefully. She set up an appointment when Tony could visit. And she explained Tony would text me the day of the appointment with the window of time he would be arriving. Love organized and efficient. As per his word, Tony texted me and gave me a 4 to 5:00 p.m. window and showed up on time. For the next hour Tony evaluated the situation by getting a very close look at the problem area. He then went up into the attic for a closer inspection. When he came back he had pictures on his phone and explained what was going on. As it turns out there is an open area in the roof where rain water can get in. This likely created the spot that has now formed. He said it was fixable and would send me an estimate via email. If I agreed with the estimate, I would be added to his schedule. (Luckily this is a very slow leak and the ceiling spot is small.) Tony was professional, knowledgeable, and I was very pleased with choosing him out of many other people. The estimate was received the next morning! I absolutely felt it was fair and reasonable. He is a popular guy. I have a month's wait. As an aside: My neighbor was present during Tony's visit. He was so impressed with Tony that he asked for his business card. Tony covered the area where the snake and other critters were entering with wood covered with mylar. The open area was in an obscure spot; he had to creatively think of a solution, which he did. Tony has been my handyman for a few years now. I have 4 rental units and I call him every time I have a need, big or small. Does great work in a timely manner and charges a reasonable price. Have never had an issue with the quality of his work. read more

I had Tony do a couple jobs for me after our initial dishwasher broke, caused a slow leak, and some moderate water damage to our hardwood floor. The first job involved replacing the damaged portion of cabinet that had been removed. It wasn't major which led to me having so many issues just getting someone to commit to doing it. I had Tony come back out and he had a quote and was ready to do the work right away. After all my other repairs were completed via insurance the last and final step was install a new dishwasher which Tony did for me also. Price was very reasonable and he was very professional. Even after he was completed and left I had a small leak during the wash cycle. He still came back the same day to check it out. After giving it a quick look he noticed my air gap was the culprit. He could of called it quits immediately, which I wouldn't of blamed him, since it clearly had nothing to do install. However, he still took the time to reassure me that replacing it would be a piece of cake and where I could go get one at. Got the part the next day and swapped them out and I'm all good to go. Overall pretty impressed with his work ethic and openness to helping me even if he could of made and easy buck. Will definitely be using Tony in the future for projects around the house! read more

Tony's Toolbox was a great find for handyman service. I reached out and got a message back from Amber promptly, and had a free estimate appointment scheduled within a day or two. Tony came by on time and was professional, knowledgeable, and presented a fair price for the gutter cleaning service I had called him out for. While we were up on the roof I saw how disgusting our solar panels were (no wonder our PG&E bill was crazy) and Tony was able to provide a solar panel cleaning as well. I didn't get any before and after pictures of the gutters, but he did an immaculate job on them and even hauled away the gutter gunk. I did however get some before and after pictures of the solar panels so you can see how good of a job he did.
