I arranged for Ajay to come to give pre-purchase help (for a reasonable fee), to make sure we buy a cooktop that fits in our cabinet. Unfortunately, he misplaced my phone # and address, so had no way to contact me to tell me that, until I phoned asking him where he was. So, we re-scheduled the appointment for the next morning. He came right on time, and spent quite a while with us, discussing our options. He convinced us that downsizing to a smaller cooktop was not a great idea, that instead we should find a different model that would fit our slightly undersized cabinet. He definitely seems to be very experienced. We had a pleasant interaction and gained a direction to follow for this project we are considering. read more

Ajay is super knowledgeable and honest. He's also a great problem solver and was able to make adjustments to our custom made range hood cover when we realized there were sizing issues with the vent. He's clearly a smart guy and has some good recommendations. He will always be my first call in the future! He has installed several appliances for us including a Speed Queen washer and dryer. read more

Ajay swapped out my microwave range hood combo for a dedicated, higher air flow range hood. Scheduling was simple and Ajay slotted me into his schedule with just a few days advanced notice. Some slight modification and cutout needed to be done to the bottom of my cabinet as the exhaust vent shape was different between the old and new unit, which Ajay took care of and was willing to waive the extra labor but I was happy to pay. Range hood was expertly installed in under two hours and works perfectly. Cost was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend Ajay for anyone looking to get a new range hood installed. read more

I called and inquired about some handyman jobs. The nice guy mentioned they didn't normally do handyman stuff but after telling him I needed a kitchen drawer repaired, he said cool no problem. On the day of agreed arrival, he texted and said he had a flat and needed to reschedule. I said no problem. I later texted 2 subsequent times to ask when you want to reschedule, crickets. Ghosted. Ajay removed the old unit, installed our new range hood and repaired the duct work. The install looks good and the price was reasonable. Ajay also fixed our dryer installation. The original installation used a dryer hose that was way too long which reduced the dryer effectiveness. read more

Ajay was super helpful and professional throughout my dishwasher install. He chatted me up through the install process of and explained why certain tolerances in the unit existed. He also fixed my leaky faucet and drilled and new hole in my sink to accommodate a spray nozzle. Overall, this was a pleasant experience. I needed a new over the range microwave installed and Archon Appliance was the best quote and most responsive. On the first visit we discovered that the previous one hadn't been vented properly. I was given a reasonable estimate, scheduled the repair and installation and was very happy with the results as well as the explanation of the repairs done to the vent (I didn't go into the attic to inspect it myself, but was shown pictures). I would definitely recommend this company. read more

We needed to move a new refrigerator from our garage to the inside of our house through a narrow doorway. We asked for a quote through yelp and decided to go with Ajay from Archon Appliance due to a highly reasonable fee estimation and the right next day availability. Ajay gave a call ahead to let us know that he was on the way and ask to be excused for a few minutes delay. He arrived almost at the scheduled time though. After some initial measurements, he removed the refrigerator doors to bring it through the doorway. Then, he was even able to move this heavy refrigerator with no scratch at all by himself alone. Finally, he realigned all the doors back perfectly and finished the installation. The whole procedure did go very smoothly. Ajay was very professional and handled everything with a care. We strongly recommend him and Archon Appliance. We would definitely hire him again for other projects in future. read more

Ajay is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. We contacted Ajay for an OTR microwave install. I asked for a quote through yelp and Ajay replied with an estimate that was very fair and was able to fit us into his schedule the very next day. Ajay arrived at the scheduled time to our home and gave us a courtesy call letting us know when he was on his way. He was respectful and did a clean and quick install of our microwave. Arden Appliance Installation - The under cabinet range hood that was installed by Ajay - Appliances & Repair Near Me

I asked for a quote through Yelp and Ajay responded the same day. I needed to have a wall oven, gas cooktop and a hood installed which included some cabinet modifications. He sent me a quote and after I agreed, he was at home the very next day! Ajay was very professional. He quickly saw that I had ordered the wrong kind of hood, from the model number itself, so I could return it in a unopened box. He also showed me that the cooktop would need some tile cutting for which he quoted an additional fee. Then he got to work and completed the wall oven and cooktop pretty quick. He gave me some pointers about a boxed in dishwasher as well. The one thing I didn't like is that he didn't clean the counter grime from the old cooktop which showed after installing the new cooktop. But I handled that myself after he was gone. All in all, great easy experience. Highly recommended! read more

We had a rather thorny issue that some of you may have experienced. We bought an appliance package, which included a slide-in range. The range was 30" wide (standard nowadays), but the cut-out that contained our old range was 29.5". Obviously, we needed to widen it by .5" to get the new range to fit. Ajay said he could do it, and do it he did - expertly. We could not be happier with Ajay, his work, and his work ethic. As he was working on widening the oven space (NOT a simple job), the microwave and dishwasher were delivered. We asked Ajay if he was willing to install them, even though we had previously lined up the installation with the delivery team, and he said sure. We paid for the delivery, but cancelled the prearranged install. Ajay's day got longer, but he finished it all. Not only did Ajay do great work, he was a pleasure to be around and talk to. He works hard to do a good job, and he cleans up afterward. I highly recommend Ajay for any appliance or handyman work you may need. You will not be disappointed. read more

Ajay did a super job installing our microwave. We bought the microwave from Home Depot but they wouldn't install it because they were nervous that our granite backsplash would cause them problems.
