From the very beginning, they operated like a true first-class shop--professional, organized, and clearly experienced. They didn't just handle the repair; they also walked me through how to deal with the insurance company, helped set up a rental car, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The communication was outstanding from start to finish. I always knew what was going on, and the work was completed in a timely manner without cutting corners. The final result exceeded my expectations--the truck looks great. Before choosing them, I asked a few local mechanic shops I trust here in San Rafael for recommendations, and more than one pointed me to D & K. Now I understand why. While I hope I don't need collision repair again anytime soon, I wouldn't hesitate to come back if I did.

Sure there could be cheaper shops out there, however if you are looking for quality, high standard, Barsotti's is the place to be. The two employees I interacted with, Manny and Vanessa, have always been great. For example, Manny is the technician that has worked on prepping my full carbon fiber wing and has done an amazing job each time. In fact, Manny always goes above and beyond and even texted me with updates / pictures throughout the process. Never have I seen a technician do that. Vanessa always promptly answered my emails and was a pleasure to work with in terms of communication and reply speed. However, my overall experience has been frustrating due to the length of time my vehicle has spent in the shop, communication issues, and problems with the repairs. My first repair took approximately 4 1/2 months to complete. During a later repair, my vehicle was returned with an unfinished component underneath the front of the car, causing my tire to rub against it for nearly a year. Most recently, my vehicle was in the shop for about five weeks. Communication was also a challenge. I frequently had to contact the shop myself for updates, and I was often told the vehicle would be ready in a few days or the following week, only for the completion date to be pushed back repeatedly. I understand that delays can happen, but after three separate experiences, I expected more proactive communication, better quality control, and more reasonable turnaround times. I returned because of the shop's positive reviews and Range Rover certification, but after three separate repair experiences, I no longer feel confident that the repair timelines and quality control justify the inconvenience.

Wow! Ric, the owner was as friendly as could be before he tried to overcharge my mom by $600 while telling me the price was going down. His estimate to repair my mom's car seemed reasonable. When it was time to drop the car off, he added $600, said he couldn't find the original estimate. I emailed him the originals, called back and he said he doesn't have the time to look. All this while the AAA driver was waiting to deliver to car to him. Rick was rude. I'm sure he was upset he got caught trying to overcharge my 90 year old mother. Nice job Marin Colision Center! Nice job Ric!! BTW The AAA driver told me he heard that all the time. Overpriced and rude to customers. He said there are better places to take the car at a better price. Marin Collision exceeded all of our expectations! From start to finish, their communication was timely, clear, and professional. Every team member we interacted with was courteous and respectful, making the process smooth and stress-free. The pricing was fair, but the real standout was the quality of their work--our van looks absolutely brand new. The attention to detail and craftsmanship were outstanding. Another huge plus is their partnership with Enterprise. I was picked up right at the body shop when I dropped off my van, and later I was able to return the rental car directly at the shop. Everything listed in the positive reviews of this shop are true--honest, fair prices, quality work, thorough, efficient, and great service! Having an accident is traumatic. Finding a good repair shop adds another layer of apprehension to the process. It was a great relief to take my car to the Marin Collision Center. They seem to repair all auto makes. But, they specialize in Hondas (my car), Acuras and Minis. Also, my insurer, State Farm, designated MCC as one of their select repair locations and back their work. This made the claims process and repairs easy and seamless. read more

I got rear-ended a few weeks ago and was referred to Marin Collision by the dealership where I purchased my car. They did a wonderful job replacing the back bumper and even repaired a dent that had nothing to do with the accident. Been putting off the review for a bit, to let the car live a little and see how their work holds…read moreup. It looks pristine! Had a dumb moment and scraped my front bumper along the side of a wall doing a u turn in my driveway. Emailed three collision repair shops, but Wanda from Classic Auto Craft responded the quickest. She was quick to provide quotes for OEM and aftermarket options, and was also the most patient as I waited to hear back from other shops. Classic Auto ended up being the most affordable by default. I requested to have the part ordered in advance so I could spend minimum amount of time without my car, which Wanda quickly organized. Traveling from Oakland, they provided me a ride to the ferry after I dropped my car off, and offered to pick me up from the ferry when I returned. The repair was quoted 2 days, on the week of Independence Day, and they exceeded my expectations by doing 1 day turn around. When I arrived, I noticed they left my front license plate off, so I could have the option to install it or keep it clean. I opted for installation and they installed the plate in 2 minutes. The car was incredibly clean and detailed, but this is where one negative pops up: I cleaned my car of trash before dropping off, but had let some essentials in the side pockets like my old pair of glasses, in case my contacts pop out or something. They placed all those small things collectively together in the center console, which crammed together and caused my glasses to break. I would say overall the experience was better than I could hope for. Going through collision repair in the past in LA, which was not the nicest customer service, Classic Auto Craft shines with theirs in comparison. Wanda really made all the difference, and her sister Flor, did too. If I were to redo my drop off, I would make sure to have removed all my fragiles, specifically my glasses. So I suggest you do the same, but trust they will do an excellent repair.

I was especially worried about the paint match, but when I got my car back, you couldn't even tell it had ever been damaged. It looks brand new again! Oscar and Frank were both great to work with, and the whole crew did an incredible job. Super happy with the service and the quality of the work. I highly recommend them.

I was charged 25% more when I picked up my car, which was never addressed by Cole. Since I was paying cash, it would have been nice for some advanced notice and explanation given the difference. I may return, but would likely shop around first.
