Hi I had my suv fixed here with State Farm. This company said they were part of State Farm insurance but they aren't. I tried to fight having to pay out of pocket over 2k but in the end I had to pay it even though I have insurance. The manager wasn't the nicest either and could care less about the situation. They shouldn't advertise they are a in network insurance when they are not. Be careful. read more

Been putting off the review for a bit, to let the car live a little and see how their work holds up. It looks pristine! Had a dumb moment and scraped my front bumper along the side of a wall doing a u turn in my driveway. Emailed three collision repair shops, but Wanda from Classic Auto Craft responded the quickest. She was quick to provide quotes for OEM and aftermarket options, and was also the most patient as I waited to hear back from other shops. Classic Auto ended up being the most affordable by default. I requested to have the part ordered in advance so I could spend minimum amount of time without my car, which Wanda quickly organized. Traveling from Oakland, they provided me a ride to the ferry after I dropped my car off, and offered to pick me up from the ferry when I returned. The repair was quoted 2 days, on the week of Independence Day, and they exceeded my expectations by doing 1 day turn around. When I arrived, I noticed they left my front license plate off, so I could have the option to install it or keep it clean. I opted for installation and they installed the plate in 2 minutes. The car was incredibly clean and detailed, but this is where one negative pops up: I cleaned my car of trash before dropping off, but had let some essentials in the side pockets like my old pair of glasses, in case my contacts pop out or something. They placed all those small things collectively together in the center console, which crammed together and caused my glasses to break. I would say overall the experience was better than I could hope for. Going through collision repair in the past in LA, which was not the nicest customer service, Classic Auto Craft shines with theirs in comparison. Wanda really made all the difference, and her sister Flor, did too. If I were to redo my drop off, I would make sure to have removed all my fragiles, specifically my glasses. So I suggest you do the same, but trust they will do an excellent repair. read more

Classic Auto Craft has amazing service and great quality work! Wanda and Alicia were responsive and knowledgeable. I cannot overstate how great my experience was. My car was hit, and I was not looking forward to going through the whole process with insurance lowballing me. I took my car in, and Wanda was very knowledgeable not only about what needed to be repaired, but also about the insurance company I was working with. During the process, Wanda kept me informed every step of the way, so that I knew what to expect. Just got my car back, and it looks brand new! read more

As a self-proclaimed foodie on Yelp, this will be my first ever non-food/drink related review. Why the need to break my streak? Because the service I received at Classic Auto Craft was...well, frankly, too good! Dennis Varela (General Manager) and his team deserve all the amazing reviews that they are getting. When I got my Mercedes Benz into a bumper accident, the guys at Classic Auto Craft went way above and beyond what I expected out of an auto body shop. The accident damaged my front bumper, my right headlight, the tow hook, and the inside metal piece that blocks damage from going further. USAA Insurance gave me a quote of $1600, but Dennis was able to call USAA and have them send an adjuster to his shop, saving me a good amount of time and getting a solid quote. My insurance company was trying to take the easy way out and skim corners to pay less for the damage, but Dennis was firm that he wanted my car to look brand new and fix the damage exactly how it should be done, without cutting any corners. It only got better from there. My bumper and front headlight look brand new, but Dennis threw in a couple more repairs that they absolutely didn't have to. He replaced the tow hook for free, polished the hood and fenders and did a headlight restoration on the left side, so they match perfectly with my bumper, and detailed the car from inside and outside making it look brand new. I'm not exaggerating when I say that my car looks the best that she's looked in 3 years. I initially stopped by Classic Auto Craft because they are ridiculously close to me, but if I have another accident I'm definitely going back because they are ridiculously good at what they do. Classic Auto Craft is one of those repair shops that you always dream of existing: they're honest, efficient, skilled, and they genuinely care about their customers. Dennis and his employees went over and above what was required to get me safely back on the road in a timely manner, and they did a beautiful job at that. Believe the 5-star rating on Yelp, folks. I've already told my friends who are in the Bay Area to refer their friends to Classic Auto Craft, and I'm hoping to spread the word on Yelp - I owe it to them! read more

My 2013 Toyota Tacoma was parked on a street in San Rafael , and while I was working, someone hit my truck and did not leave their information. My bumper, fender and hood needed to be repaired. I took my truck to CAC, Classic Auto Craft, in San Rafael. Wanda handled everything from contacting my Insurance company, estimates, and staying in contact with me, during this whole process. My Truck was repaired and is good as new. Wanda and her team do a superb job and I highly recommend them, if you need collission repair work. Thank you. /Chris read more

Recently Classic Auto Craft repaired damage to my vehicle caused by a hit and run driver. Everything about the repair experience went very well. Michael, the General Manager, worked with me throughout the entire process. He initially prepared a detailed estimate for me to submit to my insurance company and then worked directly with the company on my behalf to assist with the claims process. The repair work was handled efficiently and completed on time as promised. And, most importantly, the quality of the repair work was excellent and the car looks beautiful! Great customer service. Competitive prices. Outstanding body work. It all adds up to a 5 Star recommendation! read more

Each staff member here is competent, very friendly and cares about customer satisfaction. Besides doing fine job on my car's bumper and windshield, they helped me deal with pain in the butt Marin Subaru! Barron at Classic made it one-stop shopping for me, at far better price. My 2012 Chevy Camaro was recently keyed when I was at the movies. I was so upset and mad. I was more worried about finding a good place to fix it. My concerns were if the paint would match or fade later and not match. My friend referred this place and I'm glad he did. I was made comfortable from my first phone call. The entire experience was made so easy and I had my car back in less then four days. I was extremely happy with the results of the work completed on my car. Thank you! read more

Classic Auto Craft did an amazing job on my car. I purchased a used car in good mechanical shape but it had dozens of scratches down the side from being parked next to bushes and a broken air dam in front. Since it was my dream car I thought about repainting it. However, after detailing by CAC the scratches were gone and the car gleamed like it was new. No paint job needed! I also had the air dam replaced and painted and now the car looks like new! I'll be back. read more

Classic Auto Craft is THE BEST in Marin! And for good reason - not only did top dealerships in Marin recommend them to me for repair of their vehicles - and they do work on classic, exotic and luxury cars - and you can imagine how particular those owners are - but they also do just as excellent work on all models of cars at fair and reasonable prices. I've now had 3 Priuses in their shop repaired from collisions - every aspect of service was top notch and each car all came out with perfect repair. I prefer to support family owned local businesses when I can, and this one is better yet woman owned. Wanda is brilliant and knows everything about collision repair - and then some, Alicia is great and handles the front desk/office. I was in last week - car had rear ended me - they handled all the photos and interactions with the other driver's insurance co, and even handled the return of my rental car. It came back looking brand new, repairs have a yes lifetime warranty, and they returned it gleaming - cleaned inside and out, and vacuumed. They advised me to protect the new paint finish and clear coat for 60 days, twice as long as most shops advise - and I appreciate their better regard for care of the new surface and I take their advice. As another reviewer said - they went above and beyond - I have a 70# white furry Akita dog and somehow they even got the dog hair out of the car too -it looked better than when I just bought it recently at a Lexus dealership! You won't find a better place. Really. read more

I came in with a small dent on my side door. Will Banuelos looked at it and said he could fix it, but it would be quite costly. Will recommended another person who would do the job for a much cheaper price! That's how honest his company is!! I also peeked in where they were working on cars and my God... The work on these vehicles is superb. And the area where they were working on these classic beautiful cars was SPOTLESS! Look no further! Mary-Ellen read more

I hit a huge pothole and it really messed up the front end of my car ~ fender, axle, suspension etc. Will B. was very professional, courteous and fair when pricing the repair and worked very well with my insurance company to cover all that was needed to repair the car back to new. He was very up front with timing and the scheduling of having the car finished and even sent pictures to show how the car was progressing. Classic Auto Craft has a high quality standard and their attention to detail came with a lifetime guarantee on all the work. All this made the experience stress free. I would recommend Classic Auto Craft in a heartbeat and was very please with the entire experience. Thank you Will, Oakland, Mazda 6 read more

These folks came highly recommended from friends. I brought my son's Mazda3 to get an estimate on repair of a scuffed and dented bumper with a broken tail light. Will, my estimator, advised me to save my money and do the repair myself! He said a hair dryer would remove the dent in the plastic bumper, rubbing compound could clean up the paint transfer marks, and an after market replacement tail light would be easy to install (he showed me how). How many auto shops turn away business? I know they do good work because of the recommendations, but i'm also now convinced that the place has integrity. I'll trust them in the future if the need arises. read more

Great service and great results! I was referred to Classic Auto Craft by Marin Mazda. I took in my 2009 Mazda3 on a Friday morning to get a quote for repainting the rear spoiler (which is plastic and looked terrible for several years with bleached out finish and splotches). Dennis quoted me a great price (took less than ten minutes) and offered that the work could be completed by the following Monday morning. The staff removed the spoiler and covered several exposed screw holes with tape (nice extra touch). After stopping in on my way home from work on Monday the spoiler was reinstalled and looks fantastic - just like a brand new part! So rare these days to get such quality service, a great price and fantastic results!! read more

I just had a little mishap with my Audi, having backed in to a post at my friend's house. Classic Auto Craft had done some body work for me a few years ago (I used my insurance at the time), but this dent on my bumper was so small, I wanted to just pay it out of pocket. When I showed it to them, they backed me into the garage, and much to my delight, popped this little dent right out FOR NO CHARGE!! Wow, who does THAT!? Needless to say, if and when I have the need for any more repairs on my car in the future, Classic Auto Craft will be my first call! Many thanks to the nice people there. read more

I had some bumper damage and I thought it was going to cost about $1,000 to fix. Will did a fantastic job in having a mechanic fix the problem in less than 5 minutes. I'm very impressed. and if I need anything else, this will be the first place to go. read more

Classic Auto Craft was referred to us by Subaru Marin and we are so glad we followed their advice and contacted Dennis. He and his office team (Wanda and Flor) have been incredibly customer focused, thorough and knowledgeable. We had the misfortune of having to deal with a water leak ordeal right when we were due to have our first baby. It required our entire interior to be overhauled and in the case of the carpets, be replaced. The thought of dealing with insurance at this time was daunting, not to mention having a car in repair while we're in hospital and upon return with the potential of mold as an issue, but Dennis made everything so easy and took the stress out of it. I've trusted them every step of the way and they have made every effort to accommodate us and keep us informed of the work they are doing. Our car issues required extensive investigation and maintenance during a wet season and Classic Auto Craft has always maintained the highest level of service. I would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

Very professional, straightforward experience. They repaired and repainted the entire front bumper of my truck after a small accident. I was able to get an estimate within 15 minutes and they had the job done within 48 hours. Fantastic job, looks factory new and they did it for less than the original estimate. read more

They took an incredibly long time to repair my car. They returned it to me before the repairs were complete and recalled it. They screwed up my alignment after replacing, virtually, the entire front end of the car (about an $8K job). Then when I spoke to them once I was told to come in and they'd see what they could do. A couple of months later I had not come in but called, spoke to the same office manager, and was told that they were now under new ownership and this was not their problem. I believe they still have the same incompetent mechanics working there. read more

I recently had my MBZ 250 SLK repaired at Classic Auto Craft and they did an excellent job. I only had the car 4 months when someone hit the side while it was parked. Needless to say I was very upset. Ceasar at Auto Craft was very professional giving me a quick estimate, explained the insurance claim process and their warranty. BTW they are an authorized MBZ repair facility. My car was repaired within 4 days as promissed and looks as good as new. In fact better as they detailed the car inside and out as well. Their service was first rate - dropping me off at the Ferry terminal after I delivered the car for repairs and picking me up again when the car was ready. They even stayed opened an extra half-hour to accommodate my schedule. read more
