Alioto's Auto Body repaired our front end damage in such a way that one could not tell it was ever in an accident. They matched the paint, obtained OEM parts and did an excellent job. Car looks new again. read more

Alioto's (San Rafael) did an excellent job of repairing the side panel of my FJ cruiser that was hit. From beginning to end, they were prompt in service and in communication in every step of the way. The outcome was superb as my car looks 10 years younger and returned it to me ahead of schedule. They were very attentive to my concerns and need and took care of everything with my insurance company so I didn't have to worry about anything. I highly recommend Aliotos for their experience and excellent service and friendly staff. The price was also very reasonable. read more

Carla and Marco were terrific. I brought in a heavily damaged and old, but well functioning and low mileage Subaru a few weeks ago, following a front end collision. They took a very good look at the car and we're very specific about what needed repair, and why, the priorities to make it not just look good but be fully repaired and safe. They were kind enough to go through all of it and painstaking detail, work with me on a few options, which I felt great about to get the work done. The car came back better than ever, and ahead of schedule. And, I very much appreciate the updates I was getting every other day about status. No surprises, no guess work on my part. It's a very friendly bunch over there, mixed with tremendous professionalism. read more

Alioto's Garage is awesome. I was driving to Southern California when someone randomly threw something at my car, hitting front lower bumper/ headlight. Aliotos worked with my insurance, repair was done in timely manner. Marco was great... keeping me updated during repair process. Paint color matched, car washed and clean when I picked it up. Based on my experience I highly recommend this business. Thank you Marco and Alioto's Garage!! read more

Front bumper needed replacing. Went to Aliotos because I'd had great experience with Crebassas in the past (Aliotos took over from them). Aliotos work on the bumper was great, probably because all the technicians from Crebassas are still there. They also defogged front headlight lenses and fixed manual adj front seat that was stuck in one position at no charge! Their communication throughout process of getting the estimate and them doing the work was great too. Would definitely use them again. read more

I had such a great experience. Marcos was great and knowledgeable. He got my car finished sooner than what I expected. The front desk lady was so sweet and kind. We need more people like her! I glad I chose this place for my car. Thank you! BW read more

I had a great experience from start to finish with Alioto's on a repair through a State Farm claim after my car window was smashed by a falling tree during a storm here in Marin. Everyone I spoke with from the front desk, to my estimator (Ian) to the manager (Marco) was exceptionally friendly, patient, and willing to answer my questions about the insurance process. To top it off, they were even willing to do a headlight repair that was unrelated to the incident and they didn't charge me for the labor! Great customer service and my car looks even better than it did before the damage occurred. read more

I absolutely couldn't be happier with my experience with Crebassa's! Andrea, Fernando and the Crebassa's team are so friendly, transparent and professional. They communicated with my insurance company, arranged transport to a rental car company, took the time to answer all of my questions and kept me updated throughout the repair. They even finished my car early! Their work is top notch and my car came back looking better than ever. On top of that, they take proper COVID-19 safety measures and thoroughly disinfected my vehicle upon return. All in all a seamless experience. I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else. read more

Fernando and Angela provided exceptional service, have fixed 5 of our cars, and the quality of workmanship was excellent. They're very diligent in communicating with us, and in working with our insurance people. They go above and beyond. Thank you Crebassa's. read more

We have used this shop twice now. Much as I hope I will have no need to return, if I do need body work for my car again I will absolutely go back. Marco is extremely professional and very straightforward. He really worked hard to find the parts needed during this insane supply chain era. They partner with the insurance carriers to make the whole process as painless as possible. read more

I would like to express my gratitude and thanks specifically to Marco, who took the time to provide me with an estimate for my Tacoma in an honest, fair, accurate and timely manner. The work was done as promised - and it was simply exceptional ! It is nice to know that during these hard times when criminals abound under the ruse of business - that there are actually hardworking and genuine businesses that care AND deliver! Thank you Marco and gang! Crebassa's ROCKS!! read more

This is good as it gets. Clean, fast, honest, and skilled. Will Crebassa greets me at the door every time with a smile and a handshake. Remember the old time work ethic and customer service. Everyone that works there is a star. I've been twice and same thing each time. These guys are as good as it gets. They call for rental car to pick me up, they are always on time. If a problem Will updates by phone. Awesome. read more

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Crebassa's several times over the years. They have always provided professional, friendly and value driven service. I would not take my auto body needs anywhere else. Andrea and the whole crew have been exemplary. read more

Great, old-school customer service and immaculate work! The door on my classic Chevy truck overextended and munched the fender. It was an insurance claim. Communication was clear and swift through the process of digging into the damage & estimating the repairs. They kept me updated with photos and texts as the work progressed. I went for some extra "while you're in there" work too. All in all, they replaced the fender and door skin, abated the rust, repainted the door inside and out, repainted the hood, lined the body panels, and detailed the truck beautifully. At pick up they left me with clear instructions on how to treat the new paint to help it cure and last. The pictures demonstrate how beautiful their work is. I've already recommended them several times. Big thanks to Will, Stan, and everyone at Crebassa's. read more

They helped me with a side swipe so quickly and efficiently. I loved their shop, the people were so helpful! They are on the list for AAA approved people and I really would recommend them for anyone! read more

Do not take your car to Crebassa's. They are not trustworthy, plain and simple. Also, when I had my car towed from Crebassa's to another shop, the tow guy told me that they are the most expensive body shop in Marin. I say they are not trustworthy because when my husband went there to check out the car before the tow truck towed it to the new shop, the spare tire and grille were missing. The staff "found" them in the back of the shop. Secondly, the employee that was handling my claim, Stacey, at first was optimistic and encouraging about handling the claim and my car. The next time I went to the shop she acted like she didn't want to deal with my claim. The 2nd shop we took our car to was G&M at the gas station on the corner of Tamalpais and Casa Buena in Corte Madera. The mechanic, Augusto, is a friend of a friend. I highly recommend him. He was honest and told us how we could save money. Ultimately, we spent $5,000 less by having the car fixed at G&M. read more

Totally solid and trustworthy team. They replaced some suspension parts for me on a worn Hyundai SUV. Intake was easy. They communicated clearly. The work was priced fairly, done on time. And the team is a pleasure to work with. I won't be looking for more ways to damage my car, but if I find them anyway I will look to Crebassa's first. read more

Five star experience. The result is professional and the people you deal with through the process are pros.

I have been going to these guys for various things for over a decade. I have always found them to be honest, trustworthy, reliable, and did top notch work. This experience was no different. They replaced a broken window in the door of my car and I am very happy with the result. I didn't trust that an auto glass shop would be as good as a full service auto body shop like Crebassa because of the attention to detail for the whole car. They look at the paint, at the upholstery, vacuum out every last piece of glass, make sure the window isn't warped or chipped and fits perfectly, all of that is why I trust Crebassa. Thanks. read more

I've had some bad luck with accidents over the years and Crebassa's has come to my rescue every time, repairing my trusty Toyota on a few occasions and this time my new Lexus suv after an interesting experience with my insurance company trying to persuade me to go to another shop. Everyone at Crebassa's is very friendly; I always ask for Stacey since I am more comfortable in dealing with another woman regarding car issues. Stacey is very professional and always explains what needs to done without talking over my head, which I truly appreciate. After this last accident my insurance company wanted me to use another shop in the area. I was not interested in wasting my valuable time since I have always been very satisfied with Crebassa's, so I called my agent and he informed me that I could go to any shop I wanted and that Crebassa's, in his words, "were great". So why try to send me somewhere else, I asked, especially since I really wanted to go to Crebassa's in the first place? He admitted that Crebassa's was not on the "discount program" so the company does not refer them. What do I care, I only pay my deuctible anyway and I wanted my Lexus repaired by people I trust. Lesson learned! Crebassa's repaired my Lexus promptly and returned it in pristine condition with no problems; I will never go anywhere else!! read more

I have taken my car to Crebassa's three times. Every time the service was friendly, they gave me a detailed & fair priced estimate, have been accommodating with wanting to have my car in the shop for as little time as possible. Last time I took my car there they even cleaned the interior and exterior. After having several bad experiences at other auto body shops, I will only take my car to Crebassa's going forward. read more

I can honestly say that I am now grateful that someone hit my parked car. Crebassa's people were completely helpful and honest. They guided me through the process and fixed my car so that it now looks better than it did the day I got it. I am so happy. The car looks amazing. Customer service was wonderful. If I ever need bodywork again, I know where I am going. read more

These guys repaired my Prius's bumper perfectly. Someone ran their pickup into my car (while the Prius was parked in a lot), messing up the bumper pretty badly. I took it in, they quoted it fairly, billed my insurance and I couldn't have been happier! The repair is exceptional, the paint matches perfectly, you cannot tell the car had *any* work done. (the car is red, so it would be really easy to tell if they didn't do the paint right) read more

They repaired a dent on my wife's car as an insurance job. The work was excellent. My auto dealership suggested I take my car to Crebassa's to get the needed bodywork. The moment I walked in to get an estimate I knew this was the right place to go. The office was clean and organized, and Andrea the receptionist was polite and professional. She introduced me to Stan Crebassa, the owner for over 30 years. Stan walked me through the process of working with my insurance company and explained in clear detail how they would repair my car. He was honest and exemplified integrity. Everything he said would happen was executed without a hitch. His son Will works there and his other employees have been with him for years. His newest hire has been there for six years! Such a wonderful family run business that I feel good bringing my business to. And the icing on the cake ~ when I picked up my car, it was washed and cleaned inside & out. What a great experience. For Yelp Readers: Yelp refused to post my very positive review of Crebassa's Auto Body in San Rafael yesterday(08.14.18), apparently assuming I was in some way not being truthful in my review. I hope Yelp will post both my original, honest, review, as well as this criticism of Yelp's inaccurate and negative reading of my positive review. Michael Dietrick read more

With nothing but 5-star reviews, another one obviously isn't necessary. I write my review only to publicly thank a family business that deserves it. Other reviews already say it all: pleasant, honest, detail-oriented, prompt, reliable, handling all the insurance and rental car concerns. It's been over 25 years since I needed them last -- and I hope you don't need them, but if you do, Stan and his great team @ Crebassa's are just fabulous. Thanks for making it so easy! read more

Excellent work! Frankly, I was apprehensive that any body shop would repair the damage on my car to my liking. But I was wrong. Crebassa's Auto Body was great. Very friendly service, professional care, attention to detail, and the end result to my liking. Instead of having a totaled car, i got back a totally renovated car. Thanks! read more

This guys tricked me, offered me a rental took way longer than they had told me to fix my car then I had to pay $700 for the rental which of course was something I never expected. If really u have to go there make sure u know what they will charge u for before u leave your car with them. Very poor customer service! read more

I did a dumb thing-- really dumb-- backed my car into a low branch and caused significant dent (hey, it was pitch black out)-- but they treated me like royalty, arranged with my insurance company and Hertz, kept me posted on best & worst case scenarios, seemed conscientious about using existing parts & materials and did a SWELL job. What could have been aggravating and anxiety ridden was really rather pleasant. Considering. read more

Don't even think of going anywhere else to have your car repaired. They are AAA shop. Knowledgeable, conscientious, reasonable, thorough. Count me as another very satisfied customer of Crebassa's. My car was rear ended and needed a rear bumper cover replacement. They did a stellar job of matching my metallic paint and even touched up a scrape on my front bumper, gratis. Customer service was prompt, friendly, professional, and efficient. They worked seamlessly with my insurance company and made the calls so that I wouldn't have to. If I have the misfortune of being in an accident again, Crebassa's will be my go-to for auto body repairs. read more

Crebassa is awesome and I would totally recommend it to any friend! I stopped by with no appointment for an estimate ( I was rear ended) and everybody was super friendly! They explained the whole insurance deal and then took pictures of my car and email me an estimate within 2 hours! I dropped off my 2008 BMW and went for a 2 week vacation. Marco was so helpful!! He emailed me the progress of the repairs while I was away and kept me informed about additional damaged that was found. They dealt with insurance so I didn't have to do any of that! when I got back the whole trunk and back bumper were replaced and they did a fabulous paint job! My BMW really looked like new and all the sensors were working again :-) A big plus was that they touched up all the little scratches my car had for free!!! Don't think twice about taking your car here... They r really good and the customer service is amazing!!! read more

They do excellent work for a fair price. They are nice and professional to deal with, prompt, and it's easy to get an appointment. I needed some touchup work done on my van, which is older and had quite a few dings. I didn't really want to go the route of repairing everything fully, so they worked with me on a "minimalist" approach to keep the cost low. I really appreciated this flexibility since I didn't want to invest a lot of money in a car I'll probably only have for another year. Steven did my estimate and was a pleasure to deal with. They also gave me a ride to and from the ferry so I could get to work while my car was being fixed. I'm very impressed with both the service and the final product. read more

I unfortunately got into an accident in my leased 2016 VW beetle convertible. Will Crebassa was a delight to work with. Although my insurance had deemed my car totaled, Will assisted me with the entire process and was extremely patient with my insurance company's delay in processing. He worked with them to have the car towed to him, took the car apart and valued the repairs. Even though the car was totaled and no work would need to be done, he took care of all the details and held the car at his shop for over a month. He is extremely patient, professional and efficient. I will go back gladly. Thank you to the whole Crebassa Team!! Will even checked back in with me to see how my new car search was going. Again, thank you!! read more

My family has been using Crebassa's for a long time and we have always been happy. My mother is quite possibly the most difficult person to please and even she loves these guys. Recently had my Audi hit in a minor collision in San Francisco. I immediately called AAA insurance and then scheduled my appointment with Crebassa's. Generally in Marin County, it is difficult to find a business that has nice staff and fair prices, but Crebassa's is an exception. Genuinely nice people, who take pride in their work. My car ended up stayingtin the shop a couple of days longer than I anticipated, but it was well worth it. Paint job and dent fix were done perfectly and they did an extensive detail on the car, which I was unaware would happen. Fresh coat of wax put on, which has the car looking amazing. Again, just had a great experience there and would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a thorough collision repair service with nice people. read more

Stan Crebassa explained the process thoroughly and kept me informed on the status of my repairs and worked with my insurance company to ensure my front bumper and any unknown damages were taken care of. The work was done very thoroughly and other scratches were polished out so that when my car was returned to me it looked totally shiny and brand new despite being 10 years old. I would use Crebassa again! read more

The other day, I Took my elderly parents' 2001 Lexus to Crebassa Auto Body to get an estimate to do some touch-up work here and there and all around the car to make it nicer for my Mom again. It turns out, you have to have an appointment to get an estimate for body work now-a-days at Crebassa's and the woman there, would not get their estimator to look at the car that day. I went back today with my 92 year old father after making an appointment yesterday and as it turns out, since their car is 16 years old and the fact that it wasn't going to be an insurance-paid job, Crebassa's wasn't interested in working on their car. Apparently, if your car isn't valuable enough and if they can't STICK an insurance company for high dollars, you can't get Crebassa's to do work for you. My Dad couldn't believe it. People that do business this way, should be ashamed of themselves. I give Crebassa's a "Thumbs Down" and will never go back. read more
