To summarize: BEST body shop I've ever been to! Garren came highly recommended by a couple of good friends. Some jerk hit my parked car and didn't leave a note. Sadly, it's a common problem in my neighborhood, almost every car I have owned has been hit around here. I went to several shops for estimates after a quick resolution from Geico. It ranged from insane quotes ($7000?) to a couple of shops never delivering a quote at all. When I finally met Garren I had that feeling that he was someone who loved his craft and he gave me a very reasonable quote. My car is a 25 year old Mercedes and he, unlike other shops, agreed with me to use the same body panel and repair it rather than using a cheapo non OEM panel. I also had bad clear coat on my hood, so I asked him to paint it as well on my dime. The car looks incredible! He also did a little touch up on some chipped paint and polished my headlights. All for the same quote. His repairs were fast and great looking. I am beyond satisfied with his work and sending me regular updates and pictures of the repairs as they were completed. This is very hard to write but I feel compelled to do so. Approximately a month ago I had my car damaged by a friend of the owner of Garren's Auto Body repair. I was told to take my car to this repair shop and as a favor to the man who hit my car Garren's would do the work as a favor at no cost. The estimate was $2,200 and Garren's wanted to get paid. When I attempted to share the cost estimate with the man responsible I found his number was disconnected. I called Garren's to see if I could have the new phone number and was told that the man responsible had passed away. I was both shocked and saddened. When I hung up I started checking for the obituary or other documentation to see if this was true. Nothing came up in the official records. I kept searching for alternative phone numbers and called another number and who should answer with his unmistakable Boston accent but the man who damaged my car. Once he knew it was me he quickly hung up. Today I brought my car to Phillip Song's Pro Auto Service Center. The cost estimate to repair my car was $100. Please save yourself some $$$$ and bring your car to a reputable dealer. Clearly this is not one! read more

I asked them to do some pins striping and other extras and they did it at the same price quoted for the paint work. My wife's car had a run in with a rock scraping the back bumper. Someone backed into my wife's car resulting in a broken tail light assembly. I selected this shop because of its 5* reviews along with a very reasonable cost estimate. After bringing this car in at the appointed time, they immediately went to work and replaced the light, did an excellent job and honored the quoted price. After returning home, we noticed my wife's key was missing from the coffee cup holder (car started because I had my key). After doing an extensive search of the entire car, I called Garren who told me he would check with his staff and search the garage. He called back later that day and told me they couldn't find the key but that he would reimburse me for a key replacement which he did. I'm guessing a lot of other shops would not have been so honest and accommodating -- like the person who damaged my wife's car and didn't leave a note. ::to the tune of 12 Days of Christmas:: On the day after Christmas, the universe gave to me...an accident on the freeway... No, it wasn't my fault. Thankfully no one was injured, but man was I upset! I won't get into the details of the accident, but let's just say I've learned my lesson in being too kind to strangers... My younger brother recommended this place based on single his past experience. I was told that the owner, Garren, was a stand up guy and my brother doesn't throw compliments around for nothing. I roll in for an estimate and right away, Garren takes charge of the whole situation - definitely not his first rodeo. His confidence and reassurance sealed the deal and I knew my car would be taken care of. All this without coming off as arrogant - he was sincere and I didn't feel like he was going to take advantage of me in terms of cost. Given the timeframe needed for my repair, Garren even offered to cover the cost of my car rental if my insurance did not provide it. Unfortunately, that ended up being the case and the repair lasted from Tues-Mon, but I didn't have to worry about having a car to get to work. Everything was a breeze and for once, I did not stress out about state of the repairs, my car, the cost, the quality of work, etc. I cannot thank Garren enough for the service he provided from start to finish. He was great about giving me a call for updates and keeping me in the loop on the process. Talk about peace of mind! Our car was hit in a minor fender bender. We contacted him and he made an appointment for Wednesday, and it was returned on Friday. We have been to him before. Super friendly and down to earth. At this time, he did not have loaner cars so he offered to reimburse the cost of a rental car. The car was returned on time and on budget. I even asked him if I needed to wash it before hand, and he said we didn't need to do that. The car was returned to us spotless inside and out, better than a car wash company in my opinion. I am astounded and the horrible quality of service I received here. Last year I dropped off my front bumper to have the paint stripped and the bumper readied for paint (primered). What I received was a thick layer of primer OVER the old bad paint. The primer failed within 2 months of reinstalling the bumper, cracking off to the point I could pick it with my fingernail. I went back, at this point moving out of state soon and requested to have the bumper simply stripped, not even primered or paint, but just stripped of the poor job they had done. First photo is how I received the number after taking back to have them remove the very poor job they did initially. Clearly there are multiple colors on the bumper and it is not stripped down to its original state. The next photos are from me working to remove the black original paint and globs of new light grey primer, which is STILL on the bumper. Guess they figured "not my problem" since I was moving. Now I've ended up with a huge amount of work and more $$ to fix the mess they left. Take your business elsewhere. read more
