Stopped here for the first time on our way home from LA. Omg the pizza pockets are soooo good! The dough is amazing! We ordered the chile Colorado and a pepperoni,sausage,and ham. Both were delicious! We will definitely be back. If you're ever near McFarland and are a fan of pizza this is a must. We had to order through their window. They only had to go. We accidentally came across this place on our way to Disneyland a few years back. We loved their chile verde pocket so much we had to make sure to visit once more before heading to Legoland. Unfortunately, this time they were out of chile verde so my husband and I opted for the chile rojo with a small pizza for our kiddos. The chile rojo is really good but not my favorite combo (with the beans, cheese in the pocket). Their chile rojo would likely be bomb in tamales. The pizza was super delicious. The doug had a nice crunch, the sauce had a tiny bit of sweetness which was perfect. The cheese was delicious as well. We will definitely keep coming back. The downside is their dining room is closed so we had to eat in the car. Not a huge deal but with two little kiddos it would have been nice for them to sit down to enjoy their meal. Used yelp to find a pizza place off the freeway on our way north. We got the vegetarian, pepperoni, and the carnivore with pineapple. We had to wait a bit for our pizzas, but it was great because it was made fresh. The woman working the register was really nice and friendly. In route from Yosemite to home (LA county), we started to look for where to have dinner. We stumbled into a little pizzeria in Mc Farland. The restaurant was clean, well furnished and comfortable. The first person we encountered was Kimberly. She greeted us in the friendliest and warmest manner. Her personality alone receives an A+! Now I move on to the pizza. Ingredients are fresh (a very important component for my taste) and pizza was delicious! The only thing I knew about Mc Farland before today was that a movie was made based on a high school cross country team from the town.
