Walk up to the counter, place your order and wait for your number/name to be called. It's great for large parties and TV's located throughout the restaurant. Staff is friendly and quick getting your order ready. Expect longer than average wait times on Friday nights or Sunday's. They do charge a credit card fee. If you are in the moody for great pizza, give Tony's Pizza a try. I ordered a medium Tony's Combo with jalapeño's and pineapple (don't judge..lol) and an order of potato wedges. Wanted something different other than eating fish for lent. So I order a medium pizza from Tony's and they had a veggie pizza with tomato, olives, onions, green bell peppers, mushrooms and spinach. Hands down best and favorite pizza! The pizza sauce is garlicy and perfectly seasoned! Anytime I am visiting family in Delano I have to try to make a visit to Tony's. We had the meat lovers and veggie pizza and the sausage on the pizza was so so so delicious! All the veggies tasted fresh. This place is a staple in Delano; despite the cautionary reviews some wrote I can say this place is worth your patronage. They have expanded throughout the valley and built a few more Tony's around the valley but this is original. Our family is willing to drive 40+ miles to get a slice of pizza from them. The service can be a bit slow depending on the day of the week and how many orders are ahead of you. I enjoy coming here. I think they got a new owner or they redid the place. It looks pretty clean. The only thing is the prices are kinda high, but I mean the pizza is delicious. The wings are very expensive but like they say you get what you pay for so the food is great. The service is great. The girls are always friendly when you walk in, they do have a special for a large pizza which is like $20 but it's all worth it. Went in person and there were about ten employees standing around talking and laughing. Only one customer spotted eating at the restaurant! No excuse! This place never disappoints. My family and I get this very often when we are in Delano. This kids love the pizza and I love the sales. On our most recent visit it was a bit more packed than usual. Been a customer my whole life, and this is my first time having a terrible experience and will not be returning even though it used to be my favorite... I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and it cost $25 when it normally would've never cost that. Also, the pizza was extremely small for a "large" and you can tell they either weren't trying or they changed their recipe because the pepperonis tasted cheap and very distasteful. It was mostly bread over anything else. The crust was 50% of the pizza slice. When inquiring about it, I found out the "new owners" are trying to switch things up. I came to this location today and though I liked the pizza, I'm quite annoyed at this place. I specifically asked for a pizza box because we had leftover pizza while dining in. They stated they don't give out boxes or plates with foil. I found that to be odd because if we ordered pizza to go we would have gotten boxes. Another person from the group goes up to ask for a to go box and they gave him a few boxes with no problem. Not sure what's the difference between me asking and him asking is...... The pizza at this place was a bit disappointing because the crust was very soft even though they have large pizza ovens. You order the pizza and your food at the counter, and they call out your order over the loud speaker. We ordered a half Hawaiian/Half Combo pizza with spicy BBQ wings. The prices are great, the food with a pint of beer and large soda was only $22. The crust on the pizza was very doughy, and was so soft that when we lifted a piece the end of the slice fell off at the center. The wings were pretty bad, so heavily breaded that they were soggy weird wings. The local people seemed to like it, but honestly they need to cook the pizza much longer to at least develop a crust on the pizza pie. The wings need a complete overhaul. Good community presence, and great prices. Maybe we caught them on a bad night, might update this review if we come here with our friends (locals). read more

Tony's pizza is probably in my top 5 places for pizza. Their chili verde pizza is super yummy, but I can't say it's thee original chili verde pizza spot... Ummmm the "other guys" in Delano is the original place. However, there are tons of debate on which chili verde pizza is the best and some people do love and prefer Tony's more, so definitely try both places out to give your own judgement. Tony's pizza makes sure they don't short you on cheese. Love how it's super cheesy and they don't skimp on toppings. Their salad isn't the healthiest but that fake bacon w their ranch dressing is yummy and that's saying something because I never ever eat bacos otherwise. First off, they do have false advertising. When you order online it gives you the option for delivery. Yesterday we placed an order. We paid delivery & tip and didn't receive. Finally called them and they stated they don't deliver. So why is it on there page? Second we spoke to an employee and asked these questions. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. My friends and I ordered pizza and placed a delivery. We were charged a delivery fee and driver tip with an estimated delivery time of 4:30pm. Around 5 pm we called and asked nicely if there was an issue with our pizza and the staff there said we had to go and pick it up because they don't deliver. We were then met with attitude and the worker said we'd better go and pick it up then ended the call with "bitch". We could also hear other staff laughing in the background. The last 2 orders my family placed here ended up being wrong. The second time they didn't even show us the pizzas and 3 of the 5 were wrong so we went back. They said they gave us an xl hawaiian but it was pepperoni. The staff stood there in front of the manager lying that they showed us and accusing us of replacing the "hawaiian" with a pepperoni. Nothing like home sweet home Delano hometown favorite pizza place! I've been coming to this Tony's Pizza location since I was a kid. I remember hanging out here in middle school (1995-1997) everyday after school with all my friends. They had the best $1 slices. I just attended a birthday party this past weekend and it's great to know that the pizza is still as good as it was when I was a child. My favorite pizza's is Hawaiian & Combination. Be sure to order some ranch to dip your pizza in it, it's delicious! Customer services is always on points. They have TV's to catch the football games, lots of sitting area, video games for kids & a lot of parking. I do love the decorations in here, lots of pictures of being involved with the community of Delano. If you're planning on hosting a birthday party here I totally recommend Tony's Pizza. read more
