Decided to take it in to have a professional diagnose the issue. Walked in. Technician was helping someone at the time and acknowledge me. We talked about the issue I was having and provided the servicing cost which I feel was fair (~$100). Gave me a 2-day estimate for servicing. After 2 days the technician gave me a call that my PC is ready to be picked up. Figured I just needed to get it soldered. Came here during lunch, and at first, I thought it was closed because they didn't have lights on. But there's a sign on the door that states to call ahead and to wear a mask. Ken quickly picked up my call, heard my issue, and told him I'm outside. Ken was quick to acknowledge my request, and he let me in. There's a $25 diagnostic fee deposit, which goes toward the repair. Which, in my case, means soldering the cable back to the pin connector. Paid with a CC, and he asked for my contact and told me he would call me when it's ready. The next day, he called to tell me it's ready. And violaaaa, my record player works again! Awesome work and awesome hospitality, Ken. I'll see you again next time I break my record player.
