The wife made an appointment for our child to get her ears pierced. The appointment was for 2:30 on a Saturday. We arrived for our appointment at 2pm. We spoke to the guy who does piercings and he said that there were walk-ins and he could not keep our appointment. He suggested that we come back at 4pm and even then there was no guarantee that we could get in or that there would be no further wait. A two hour wait? He said the only way to guarantee no wait was to arrive at 10am when they open. Why do they take appointments if they have no intentions of honoring them? Bizarre. The kid, who had been so excited to get her ears pierced, was crestfallen. There is no point to make an appointment in advance because it will not be honored. Walk-ins apparently are more important than appointments. We felt disrespected and it is really bad customer service. If a company doesn't want to take appointments, then say so. But if you take appointments, they should be honored. That simple truth is obviously lost on this store. Their jewelry after piercing is not cheap, which is fine. We were ready to pay. We left that store and went to another place where we were able to get her piercing within ten minutes. I guess Maria Tash doesn't mind losing a $500 customer. But at least they took care of the walk-ins! Good riddance. We won't be back ever for any reason. read more

Recently visited the MARIA TASH in London and got a new piercing and jewelry, somehow it broke and I brought it into the Dallas location to see if they could help. Haley (piercer) was so sweet and helpful and did an amazing job changing out my ear ring. Brian was also exceptionally helpful and wonderful. All this to say that Christmas time at Northpark mall is a ridiculously busy time of year and they made everyone feel seen and welcomed! read more

Had a great experience getting pierced at this location. I had to wait a while, but I was also a walk-in so that's on me. Mikayla was super friendly and made sure to check on me while I waited. Steven helped measure my ear to make sure everything would align for the specific jewelry that I wanted, but Faith ended up actually piercing me. They were both nice, professional and you could tell they legitimately have passion for this! read more

I've been in many times and the staff are very hit or miss. They're either super friendly, or laugh at you when you say your price budget. They'll tell you it's a 30 minute wait then have you sitting there for over an hour and a half. They gave my mother a piercer who was on lunch? I'm sorry but if I'm spending $500 on a gift, i would expect the costumer service to be A+, and ATLEAST have us waiting on a piercer who was in the building. Very disappointed. Y'all - Dallas finally joins LA, NY, and Miami with another U.S. location of Maria Tash for all of your luxury piercing needs! They've been open since July, but I had to add the business to review so you're welcome. If you are Princess and the Pea level sensitive like me, this is probably the best place to get pierced with jewelry that is nickel free, hypoallergenic, not to mention unique and beautiful. The backstory is that I had my helix/rookish area pierced elsewhere a few months ago and between my side sleeper tendencies and the fact that the post was not made from the expensive metals my finicky genetic makeup requires, it was looking the opposite of cute. The counter staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and Brandon showed me some jewelry options and called Andy the piercer over to look at my oozy, uncomfortable ear. They also help you plan ahead by suggesting options to pair or add to what you're getting now or in the future. Two friends and I went in for the first time on Saturday 2/22/2025. We each had some idea of the earrings we wanted and where we wanted the piercings. The staff, Sara the assistant manager and Faith the piercer, took an incredible amount of time with each of us, going through the placements, and recommending changes. Went to Maria Tash for my Daith piercing. First time client, but had been following their piercing story for years. Not certain how frequently their inventory is restocked but they were limited on metals available. Luckily they had my metal choice. Completed the usual info prior to piercing and then went to see my piercer. My piercer was very professional and performed it very quickly. I was in and out with no issues. By far, my favorite MT location. The location and furnishings are luxe; the customer service outstanding. Spencer (Piercer) and Mickayla (Designer) were wonderfully collaborative and knew their brand well, but they were never pushy. Spencer did a wonderful job with my 3 piercings and aftercare teaching-- it's been 6 weeks, and it's healing great! will never be buying from Maria Tash again. 80% of my everyday ear jewelry is from them and yet every time I go in store, I am faced with worse and worse customer service. you pay thousands of dollars for a tiny little earring, yet when the clasp is defective and won't close anymore? nothing they can do. or when the supposed "solid gold" earring starts tarnishing and changing colors? nothing they can do.
