I called ahead to see about getting an appointment set up to get a conch piercing- but they told me to just walk in & it would be a quick process... and it was!!!!! I was there for a total of 5 minutes, IF that. Jesse did my conch piercing and I honestly sat in the chair for maybe 1 minute and the process was done. Super quick. Clean space & everyone was friendly & fast. Conch piercing was $60! I kept up with cleaning it twice a day & it has been healing very nicely the last two weeks. There's a 10$ fee if you'd like to have your nose ring swapped, which is fine to charge but it wasn't explained and came across as a courtesy. Jesse is the MAN. I came a week & two days ago w/my mom and boyfriend to get my nose re-pierced after an awful Claire's experience (I know I know), and I was super nervous. He along with the other staff answered every question I had, and even gave additional suggestions for what to do as far as after care. One thing that's different about Lizards Ink is that you do have to sign the waiver form & pay before any services are rendered. Once in the piercing room, Jesse made sure to sanitize everything & was patient enough to let me play around with different placements before offering his professional opinion on where would be best. A few jokes & an exhale later he was done, so it's really quick. The pain afterwards was a 5.6/10. It really only hurt to sneeze or scrunch my nose. Until your nose is healed I would refrain from washing your face with a face cloth/towel. Instead use your hands & do half your face at a time, drying with a paper towel. At night I've also opted to have a bandaid hover over the piercing to keep it from snagging on anything, which has given me peace of mind. It's been over a week and I've been healing well (along with my mom who was supposed to be there for moral support but impulsively decided to get her ears pierced) lol. I'm glad I decided on this shop & I look forward to coming back. read more

I got my nose pierced here and it went great. It was quick, minimal pain, and it's healed with no issues. I will be back to pierce the other nostril soon. Also, the man who pierced my nose was great. Had a tattoo done here by Majesty. I asked for clean lines and made the mistake of trusting this "artist" to do so and give me a structurally sound tattoo. I have reached out to both the shop and the artist seeking a refund and so far have not heard back from either. I paid over $100 for this blown out mess, and will now have to spend even more getting it lasered off or covered up. If I were this "artist" I would be absolutely mortified that I put this on somebody's body forever, so far he has shown no remorse nor has he offered a refund. The quality of this tattoo is unacceptable for the price and for someone who wants to call themselves a professional "artist." He also messed up my friend's tattoos...they are also blown out. She also requested clean line work and received lazy incompetence. I am absolutely furious with the tattoo I received as well as the shop's lack of response. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. Avoid these crooks like the plague. Update: the "artist" blamed ME for the outcome, citing that it, "looked fine when [I] left and [my] shoes must have done it." That's not how blowout works, not to mention this "artist" told me I could wear my shoes out of the shop. I also didn't wear shoes besides slippers after getting this tattoo, and it started to look like this on day 2. I've worked in customer service for 10 years, you NEVER blame the customer. This is unacceptable behavior for someone who calls themselves a "professional." My friend went into the shop yesterday and was told the owner would be in contact with us, but so far I have heard nothing. So Lizard Ink was recommended to me by a friend of mine who gets her piercings there all the time. I walked in being 17 (literally NOT even noticing the 18 only to enter sign until after I left, but that was my bad) and so I went there to just ask a few noobie questions about pricing, showing what I wanted, times I could come in, and aftercare. They sent an artist my way, Robert, and he IMEDIATLEY loved my idea. I explained to him (at that time) in 2 weeks I would be 18 and was getting my first tattoo. So I'm a huge Indiana Jones fan, I know I didn't grow up when the movies came out but, I did in fact grow up watching them all the time so it's a pretty big deal to me. Anyways Robert instantley loved my idea, we set up an appointment, I gave him my deposit and ALWAYS made sure to keep in contact. Over the week before my tattoo I did lots of research about what to expect and once my appointment came up it was a pretty sick experience. The pain was an 8/10 but my tolerance was a 100/10. I didn't really move at all cause I didn't want to mess up his work. I felt quite proud when he congratulated me and said I seemed as if iv gotten tattoos before. Absolute great customer service. I have come here a number of times for tattoos with Dillon (@pasethelosertattoo), but every time I come here everybody is kind and genuine and I enjoy the time I spend here. Other bad reviews seem to just be Karens or first time tattoo-getters not understanding the process for getting a tattoo. I cant speak for other artists (Im sure theyre great though) but Dillon is by far one of the best tattoo artists ive worked with and I get many compliments on my tattoos from him, asking where I got them. I came for a simple nose piercing on a Friday afternoon. Apparently I picked a vert quiet time to stop by, as the shop was bone dry of customers. I can tell that the two artists that were there could use a little business. Even if for a few minutes. I was quickly greeted by the beautiful Francheska and told her I was there for a nose piercing (actually a re-pierce). She quickly walked me through the process and had me sign the consent forms. She then lead me back to a chair and proceeded to do the piercing. I had informed her that I had my nose pierced before and that the inner hole had closed up, so I was familiar with the general idea. She then told me what she was going do right before she would do it, so it wouldn't come off as a surprise as she went along. Francheska was quick, clean and thorough. I had even told her that the first time I got my nose pierced, the place/girl who did it struggled so much to get the needle in and my eyes watered like crazy. Not with Francheska! She did it all with such ease and my eye only let out one little tear. That was it! I highly recommend Francheska! She's amazing! She may look very young, but the girl knows what she is going. My nose is healing quiet nicely and I have had no issues or prolonged pain. Just the normal tenderness on the first day. Thank you Francheska! Stay beautiful and awesome with that orange hair! I don't normally leave negative reviews, but something has gotta be said here... I called the parlor back on November 17th, and spoke with somebody named Lily. I was looking to go up a size in my gages (8s to 6s) and asked if the parlor had the jewelry on hand. Unfortunately Lily notified me that they didn't, but that she would be in contact with the piercer and that their piercer would get them on order. She explained it'd likely take two weeks for the gages to arrive. I leave her my contact information, and I'm told she will reach out to me when they arrive. Two weeks go by and I decide to follow-up with Lizard Ink. I speak with Lily again, and she explains to me that the gages haven't arrived yet and that their delivery is likely delayed because of the holiday season. Sure, plausible reasoning, makes sense. I don't mind waiting. Today, as I write this review, it is December 17th. Quite some time has passed and I haven't heard anything new with regards to the piercings. I decide to call the parlor again, and (as you may have guessed) I speak with Lily. I inquire on any new information with respect to the gages and she explains to me that Lizard Ink doesn't have any of that size (6s), but that she can go ahead AND WORK WITH THE PIERCER TO GET THEM ORDERED TOMORROW???????? So LITERALLY for the PAST MONTH, instead OF ACTUALLY working with their piercer to get the jewelry ORDERED OR EVEN ON ORDER, I'M JUST STRUNG ALONG (patiently waiting) TO BELIEVE THAT THEY'RE DOING WHAT THEY SAY THEY'RE GOING TO DO. What. The. Hell. Like, if this is who they have working their front desk, just imagine how much money this place has lost as a result of missed appointments or other mishaps because of TERRIBLE customer service. I can't even fathom how much effort is likely put in place to schedule a PIERCING let alone a TATTOO. read more

This is what my rook looked like a week after I got it pierced here. I went in to see what they could do about this/get it removed. They refused to take it out Incase of infection, but I knew this was pierced so wrong and so shallow in my cartilage if I had kept it in a few days it would have ripped out of my ear. I know this because after they refused to take it out I had to go to a different shop; that's what they told me would have happened while they had to remove it for me. When I went in to ask questions about it they were so rude to me, and told me that the piercing was fine and said I was cleaning it wrong. The gag is that I bought their cleaning solution and followed their after-care instructions. Also, they said that I need to wait a week and it would migrate back into my ear??? I looked online and it said rook piercings were $40 and I ended up paying $50. Waste of money and they should not have let me leave the shop knowing they pierced my ear like that. Tonight makes 3 visits to this shop, each time with a different artist. All 3 tattoos were minimal so I didn't mind the different artist. However, tonight my husband and I both were tattooed by Robert and we both loved our experience. The shop is very neat and clean, very easy going, fun receptionist too. I just really like this shop. Each time I get exactly what I ask for, they're not over priced and make sure you're comfortable before beginning. I received my first tattoo here, I have 3 total and all have been done at Lizard ink, each a design I have brought in myself. Great little shop and I love How I don't have to drive to downtown Dallas to receive a quality tattoo. Although I must say, I think we have found our artist and if Robert ever leaves, we will have to follow :) Wonderful experience, no wait time except for prep time. I'm getting my daughters ears pierced, not getting a tattoo, so I walked into this place a little skeptical. As much as I've been through in life, you would think I would never judge a book by it's cover, but when it comes to my daughter, I trust nobody. I trust this place. Ariana and Jessie were two of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. My daughter was scared of getting her ear pierced. The reason I say ear pierced and not ears pierced is because she had her first ear pierced with my wife two days ago, then chickened out. So here I am at a tattoo parlor at 8:30PM on a weekday. I'm tired, it's been a long week and I want to go to bed. All I can think about is my bottle of wine on the counter waiting for me and I didn't have a lot of patience. This staff really cares and they show patience and care when dealing with their patrons. My daughter talked about how awesome everyone here was the entire ride home. Ariana even promised to braid my daughters hair if she went through with her piercing. After it was all done, she came to the lobby and kept her promise. If I ever decide to get a tattoo, I would come her in a New York second. Bravo for taking the time to comfort my little girl and for making me feel like she was in good hands. walked in last night after calling in advance to get a belly button piercing. as soon as we walked in a bigger bald man pointed at everyone and said "tattoo tattoo tattoo" which weird, but ok. I proceeded to tell him that i actually wanted my belly button pierced and he shook his head and was like "let me see your belly button" and from 6 feet away from me he said "nope. your belly button is too shallow, you're going to reject the piercing. no." how can you tell that from so far away?? lol so we all just looked at him in awkward silence (mind you there were other people in the shop as well so it was mildly uncomfortable for everyone the way he rejected me in front of everybody) So, i said OK BYE and took my business elsewhere. Lucky 7 Tattoo took me in right away without any questioning of my belly button or making me feel uncomfortable. I HAD MY SEPTUM FOR 6 DAYS BEFORE IT FELL OUT AND THE HOLE CLOSED !!! BAD QUALITY PIERCING AND VERBALLY ABUSIVE MANAGER !!! PAID $60 FOR NOTHING!!! GO ANYWHERE ELSE !!!!! i got my septum pierced on 9/01/22 and it came unscrewed 6 days later. not even a week after. i brought both the ball screw and the actual septum ring to the shop after having called the place and they told me i could just drop by and get it put and screwed back in, since it fell out today. i showed up with both parts in a zip loc baggie and had the same piercer who first pierced it on 9/1 try to put it back in. unfortunately the hole had closed by now. i would have to get it repierced and pay the $60 fee all over again, but they told me to call JOE MARTINEZ, the manager, to explain the situation and see if they could do something. joe martinez YELLED at me for 8 minutes, calling me all kinds of names and accused me of "stealing" from him. i stayed quiet on the call because i started recording him as soon as he said his first slur, and he gave me a whole panic attack before i told him that i had both the parts (he had accused me of accidentally losing one of them and lying to get a free replacement). ONLY THEN did he say i could get it repierced for free when it heals. he never apologized for his UNPROFESSIONAL ANGER and accusations, and it is clear that this man needs help. i feel sorry for his employees who have no doubt been the subject of his VERBAL ABUSE. do NOT get pierced here. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY AND NOT EVEN HAVE A PIERCING! go anywhere else, as i will be doing. read more
