This looks like most Margaritavilles. It was clean but there was no way to dry your hands in the men's room. There were no paper towels and the air dryer was broken. Service was extremely slow and there weren't very many people. It was a weekday at lunchtime. There seemed to be a staffing issue. Our server was very sweet but it seemed like she had too many tables. After our drink order was placed we saw they were sitting at the bar for about 5-10 minutes before we got them. The food was good and hot. We were a party of 6 with two elementary school children. read more

The food was terrible! One ordered fried chicken and it came out so overcooked you couldn't even eat it! Another person ordered fish tacos which came out very dry. I ordered a steak, cooked medium, and it came out so tough I couldn't even chew it! For the price - this place is not a place I would recommend. read more

do not come here. the food was overpriced and the server was actively avoiding us. we saw him attempt to wait our table but would walk the other direction. he kept blaming other coworkers for his mistakes when we would have never seen them before. would not come here again. read more

A big fan of Margaritaville we sat at the bar and planned to order food and deinks. We were disappointed that we could not order a pitcher of Margaritas but got over it quickly. Placed orders for the perfect margarita and we're not disappointed. We ordered lava lava shrimp, Chicken egg roll, Cajun pasta shrimp main dish and shared them all. Love the decoration. The restrooms were cleaned. The area was decorated, clean established and staff super friendly. read more

Stopped in for happy hour on a Wednesday evening and to make a toast to the iconic Jimmy Buffett. There was plenty of bar seating at 3:30 as well as attention from the bartenders. Margaritas aren't on the happy hour menu, but I wanted one anyway and thoroughly enjoyed it. My friend and I shared three appetizers (chips & salsa, lava lava shrimp, chicken quesadilla), and it was more than enough to call dinner. Chips & salsa: perfect chip and salsa ratio. Shrimp: yummy aioli on the bed of lettuce under the Thai spicy-sweet shrimp. Quesadilla: loaded with chicken and generous pico, guac and sour cream on the side. Also generous are the TV screens with sports and Jimmy playing his music. "If life gives you limes, make margaritas." ~ Jimmy Buffett read more

First of all, the service was top notch!! The bartender (Joe) was on it. Quick to greet us, suggested drinks, etc. could not ask for more. The drinks were awesome. I had a 5 o'clock somewhere. We ordered the appetizer sampler. Was very good. The music was just right volume and the games were on TV. Excellent experience. We will be back. read more

We had a great time on Friday. Good food, good drinks, and good service. Laurie was our server and she had some fun jokes too. Will definitely go back. read more

The decor lures you in with fun music, beach theme, and bright colors. I stopped by quick for an app and kids meal before going into Crayola World. There weren't very many people there, but it took 10 min before anyone came to the table to say hi. Our water and kids paple juice drinks came out with our appetizer of chips and dip later. The server was kind, but he was working very hard. Possibly short staffed today. The menu is not very exciting, and I thought it was limited. They seem to use some main end in repeat. Example- crabcakes appetizer or crabcake sandwich or crab salad. The food was not very good- overly salted, small portions and high prices. Maybe just come here for margaritas?! read more

Mario was absolutely amazing! From the drink recommendations to food and attention to detail! Ask for him you will feel special.

When I see a Margaritaville, I know it's time for a 5 O'clock Somewhere and they did not disappoint. The Tsunami was very good as well. The restaurant was clean and easy to find. Frey was super friendly, offered menu suggestions and answered my questions thoroughly. There was a short wait, but who cares when you get to go to one of your favorite restaurants once a year. The atmosphere is always bright and fun. Teriyaki wings and Lava Lava Shrimp were my entrees of choice and both were delicious. They were seasoned as I expected and I always have high expectations for Margaritaville. No matter where I go, I'll always search for a Margaritaville. It is always a fun & relaxed atmosphere with great food. read more

Wife and I very politely asked to sit at a booth instead of a table. They weren't busy at all so we didn't think it was a huge ask. We could tell the hostess was put off, had to go to the back to ask, when she returned was rude, for example practically threw to menus on the new table. We left, won't spend money at a place that makes us feel uncomfortable. read more

Had the Garlic Burger with fries and a beer, medium rare. Was happily surprised how good it was. Cooked just the way I liked it. Sat at the bar and the bartender was a super nice guy. read more

Great food, Joe was our bartender and he was awesome!! Our drinks were all so good. Highly recommend the last mango in Paris

Slow service, overpriced menu and bland, hospital-quality food, there isn't anything worth coming for here. Go elsewhere.

The food we ordered was the steak with french fries and broccoli, the fish and chips and the chicken egg rolls. The steak had no seasoning at all and I wouldn't recommend ordering that. I wish I had tried the Beach Club sandwich instead. The fish was pretty good. The fries were alright, but the chicken egg rolls were REALLY good. I would recommend trying those. The margaritas were tasty as well.. so many different ones to choose from. The service was friendly and the ambiance was island like, with surf boards hanging on the walls and Jimmy Buffet music video's playing. read more

The service was great. The atmosphere was as expected. The egg rolls were my favorite. The rest: blah. The quesadillas were not good. The bbq for my daughter's tenders was not appealing. I feel like they get away with charging high prices because it's an experience but it was very underwhelming. read more

Do not order the fish n chips unless you like the fish that comes out of the freezer at the grocery. They looked just like the fish sticks and filets I would eat as a kid. The presentation was poor. Just a complete waste. At least the service was good. Anita was quick to help others at the table to decide. read more

Maybe my review for Margaritaville should be lower, but I think it knows exactly what it is ... and so should you! So, it's hard to argue too much. I can't speak much for the food here, as I haven't tried much. The drink menu is extensive, and I have a hard time believing there's a person out there who couldn't find something they'd enjoy. The ambiance is exactly what you'd expect: Jimmy Buffet vibes. The staff was really nice. They accommodated a huge group of us. I called in advance and was able to very easily make a reservation for 20 people on a Saturday afternoon with no fuss. They even gave each of us separate checks without having to ask, which was really nice. This said, the service was incredibly slow. The bar must not be very well-staffed because it took ages to get drinks. And when they did come, it was about half the table getting theirs ... and then another 15 minutes before the other half of the table got their drinks. Maybe better for a small group, but I'm grateful they were able to make it work for us. read more

The restaurant had no waiting time, we arrived on a Saturday night at 7pm after shopping with my friend. I have been to the one in Florida, and this one was pretty good too. We had a table right away. Their cocktails were super quick and delicious & strong. The fried pickles were served fast and they were freshly made. The perfect margarita was delicious too, I did not take a picture by then. My friend had the salmon spinach with rice and brown gravy ( it was so delicious). I had the Cajun Shrimp & Grits. The shrimps were delicious and very juicy. The grits had a really good spice to it and the sausage in it was delicious. The sauce was also full of veggies. The music was great, took me back to Malta & Florida. The servers were super nice and friendly and so quick. They work so hard there! Well done! read more

Portion size is ridiculous for the price. A normal sized pasta on a big plate worth $30. There was more plate than there was food. Food took awhile to arrive be prepared for a wait. Very loud place due to it being in the biggest mall in the world. Would rather go to Olive Garden, at least there it's quiet and peaceful. read more

My family went on Saturday. We were seated right away as it was after the lunch rush. We had a fabulous waiter, sadly I forget his name. but he was kind, not sales polite but kind. He was very attentive. Food was wonderful! Another wait stand member came over to talk to the baby. We will be back. Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience before seeing Santa. read more

Because the service was so good, I have two starts. Kyle was amazing. That's where it stops. Completely over cooked and bland burgers, and over priced overall. Don't waste your money. read more

I actually have no good reason to give this place less than a 5 Star review. Here are the highlights: Excellent service along with menu knowledge Big portIons Tasty Fun relaxed atmosphere It was a clean restaurant They serve Coke products It's not the cheapest place ever, but what do you expect, it's in the MOA. They probably have high rent to cover. I don't go to the mall often, so I won't be rushing back. I'm glad we tried it and would recommend it. There is something for everyone on the menu. read more

We went here to eat on Friday evening and the dinner that both me and my daughter got which was the teriyaki Chicken bowl it was very salty in fact it was to salty to eat. My other daughter got the beach club sandwich in which she said was the Bomb. It was really good. My other daughter got the nachos which was really good. Overall it was just okay. The waiter which is named Christian was very helpful and on top of things. read more

Johnny is absolutely AMAZING. best service ever!! Definitely go out and see him at the bar!

Although a pretty famous chain restaurant, neither my husband nor I had ever tried out Margaritaville. We weren't planning on eating here, but after realizing that all the sit down restaurants at the mall had long waitlists, we decided to add our name to a handful of restaurants and wait to see who contacted us with a table first - and margaritaville was the winner. Mario, our server was AMAZING. So attentive, so friendly, and just the nicest guy ever! He truly made our experience awesome. We started with the spinach artichoke dip - so good, and I opted for the Tsunami drink and my husband for a tropical thunder. Both were sooooo tasty. I'm not a big drinker, but I definitely had a second drink. For dinner, I chose the broccoli and Alfredo pasta - kinda average, but tasty nonetheless. My husband had the fried fish platter - can't go wrong with a plate full of fried food. While the food wasn't anything spectacular, it was tasty, the drinks were yummy and the service was definitely top notch. We had a great time. read more

We had dinner at Margaritaville and had the best waitress we have had in a long time. Christina did an excellent job of honoring our special requests and checked in to see if we needed anything just the right number of times. The food was delicious as were the drinks. I knew a woman named Margarit. Full name was Margarit A. Ville. Now she owns this place at the biggest Mall in the whole Americas. Located at the Mall of America is this Margaritaville - which is basically a place that you can get fake Mexican food, which is kind of like bad Tex-Mex, and then lots of alcohol with pretty colours - which is exactly why this place is popular and packed and busy. read more

The front desk was so rude. Bartenders didn't serve us when they were free. Said wait was 30 minutes waited over an hour and didn't get seated. Got no notifications. Spent $40 for only 3 drinks and then had to leave. Never ever going there again it was discussing and messy all over the floor and all over the place doesn't even deserve one star. read more

Came here for a quick drink before our dinner reservations and instantly regretted it. Great place to escape from the mall crowd! The Perfect Margarita is indeed perfect. With or without salt, whatever the preference. We each chose differently. Asiago Crab & Artichoke Dip was excellent. Bartender terrific. This is a smaller Margaritaville without the flash. No hurricane/blender experience, but we thoroughly enjoyed wasting away for awhile! read more

We were staying at a hotel in Mall of America and planned this into our trip. Our family was very excited to try this restaurant out. We instantly came to regret this choice over others. I made a reservation and arrived 15 minutes early and checked if we could be seated. The place was empty, and they just seated a party that got there first. The manager at the host stand said they were not seating anyone due to not being able to send in kitchen tickets. I did not say anything as I am in the food service industry but 1. a party was just seated. 2. you are empty. 2. as a manager hand write the tickets and give to kitchen. She did say that we could come back for our reservation. Came back 10 minutes later and were seated. Food was being served to other table so not sure what that hold up was about. Service was subpar. Server did not check on us, no napkins, no knives, no ketchup for fries. Very disgraceful. read more

Our waitress was phenomenal. It was loud & took awhile to get food but food was good. My husbands dish was smaller than a bowl of cereal, so he definitely left hungry. The waitress had no idea what a Bloody Maria was (not Mary) but had no issues making it for us once we told her. I did expect the gift shop to have more than what it did though. read more
