Love this restaurant! Right next to Las Gaviotas and a midden gem! The food never disappoints and the service is always great. The ceviches are the best we've had. This time we tried the High Tide Ceviche with leche de tigre which was amazing. We also had the Black Seabass Special with clam broth, garlic confit tomato, asparagus and grilled squash. So delicious! We also had the Orzo Pesto with shrimp which was mind-blowing it was so good! All portions were huge and shareable. Must get the bread toasted with garlic butter. Sooooo good. Their cocktails are great as well. Mojitos with fresh mint were a great compliment to our meal.

Ive been here twice, its nice but not a place I would go. Food is decent, good ambiance and place is clean and neat. The service is always amazing and their margaritas on point. Now, this place is good and food decent, however their prices are a little bit high and I feel like im paying for the presentation and not so much taste. You also have to consider that Valle and Rosarito are close and have such amazing food choices for the same price. Its the kind of place you need to judge for yourself, you wont be upset its between a wow or meh for many.

If you're looking for a higher end dinner situation - this place has it all for seafood including fresh catch of the day, aguachiles, poke, etc. We tried the tuna tostadas - the fish was beyond fresh and flavorful. After the miso-butter asparagus came and I was blown away. Absolutely delicious!! To finish off we had catch of the day (swordfish) and blue fine tuna with sides of veggies. All superb! I'll definitely be back!

The menu is fish, fish and more fish and I don't eat fish. However there is a hamburger that is amazing. I eat it once a week.

    Seared Tuna was so good.

Not just a food truck but so much more. This is the second time we have been here and we love it. Service was friendly and food was awesome. We had the clam chowder, hamburger, fries, ceviche, ahi tostadas and tuna sandwiches. Local and micro brewed beer and strong pour for wine. Even the lemonade was hand-squeezed.

This place was recommended by so many and it didn't disappoint! Exceptional road side restaurant with very fresh and delicious food. The ceviche was delicate, yet hardy with its big chunks of fish. The burger was great too which can sometimes be hard to find down here. And the service was also top notch and very attentive and helpful. Definitely will become a regular stop.

There's so much seating, so it feels open and relaxed even when it's busy. It's one of those places where you immediately want to grab your phone and take a few photos. The food is still just as delicious as I remember, and the service is unmatched. Everyone is attentive without hovering and you feel really taken care of. Honestly, it's worth stopping in even if you just go for a drink and soak in the scenery. Great cocktails, stunning backdrop, and such a good overall vibe. I'll definitely keep coming back.

I politely pointed it out to our server, Daniel, expecting it to be corrected. Instead, he casually dismissed it and said, "It's only 100 pesos more," which I found unprofessional and disrespectful. It's not about the amount it's about accuracy and customer service. Because of this interaction, I decided to remove the $20 tip I had initially left. When I did, he took the receipt to his manager and claimed that I hadn't tipped at all. I explained the situation, but he responded with a smirk, which felt mocking and made the situation even more uncomfortable. Additionally, the service overall was slow. We asked for water multiple times before ordering, during the meal, and even after finishing and it still took a long time for it to arrive. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, despite the setting. I hope management takes this kind of behavior seriously and works on improving both service quality and professionalism.

I've had the pleasure of visiting, living and vacationing in every major area of Mexico so I've stayed at the very best and the $12 USD rooms lol The check in was very simple and the young lady checking us in was super helpful. Realizing I had a teenager with me she answered the important question upfront and gave her the WiFi password immediately lol I came to Bobby's by the Sea with my Inlaws, wife and my daughters )18 and 3 years old) We ended up with the 2 bedroom each with their own individual bathrooms and shower. There was a full size kitchen and large sitting area and decent TV. The wrap around balcony was worth every single penny. You could look out over the ocean which is about a 250 yard walk from the resort. The rooms were clean, well organized and decorated very nicely. Room service is kinda hit or miss as they tend to knock once or twice and do not come in the room without you opening the door which is actually not a bad thing. The walls are pretty good at blocking out noise from neighbors and the large ocean facing windows are so beautiful to wake up to. There are two pools located in the property which was nice. Both have a jacuzzi and a nice size pool attached. There is also a small cabana area near the ocean view pool with an above ground jacuzzi which is nice but we did not use it so I'm not too sure if it works. There is a small artificial turf area where you can putt around with or hit balls in the ocean with a few left over clubs probably found in an old garage or floating in the ocean lol The restaurant is a decent with enough food on the menu to please my picky family for the 5 days we were there. Most plates ranging from $8-$17 US. There is also a small workout area upstairs above the check in lobby. It has a couple spin bikes, weight rack, a seated bike and a treadmill. I used it every morning around 0600am and had no problem getting in. The bonus was the ocean view up there as well. The Friday/Saturday "loud" music some Yelpers complained of was nothing to bad. There was a decent mix of music and it truly does shut down around 1015-ish pm. Bobby's has potential and is truly closer to a 3 star based on the incomplete feeling you get from walking around the grounds but the great customer service and fact that you can see the ocean bumps it to a 4 Star. The properties on either side are terrible on the eyes but they cant do much about that. If this property is around in another 5-10 years I know I will have been fortunate enough to see how much it has changed from its early days. I will definitely be back soon and will enjoy being a part of the process from here on out.

We waited by the Bar near the entrance for 25 minutes while all three waiters ignored us, made eye contact, checked their phone and took pics . Another Paton at the bar walked over to us and said they her grandchildren were sitting at a table which was empty except for a few sweatshirts so she removed them and said we could have the table, which was a very nice gesture that we appreciated. We continued to wait for another 10 minutes or so until we had enough with being ignored we left and went to another place and were seated and not ignored, a great meal by the way. My Brother in law was with me along with my son and my nephew. I had seen this place recommended by "The Boredom Report " ( JT my apologies but your guy here is out of line) many times and was excited to try this place as I always am when in Baja. Unfortunately, this place dropped the ball. My Brother in law left a review on yelp approximately 20 minutes or so after our visit and was sent a rather rude and racist message by someone named "Noel' stating that Mexico was in the World Cup and that they were playing in Mexico along with that we were I can't remember if it was Dumb or Dirty Americans so I'm going to go with Dumb for this one, "Dumb Americans" that need to educate ourselves on the Mexican culture and such. Well I'll say this, I too have been in Baja for over 40 years, Noel and never have I had any establishments in Baja ever ignore any customers until last night. If myself and my family didn't love, respect Mexico or its people and culture we would never go south of the border and be ignorant to anything having to with Mexico. But, since you are obviously more focused on Football instead of your business I would imagine that you might not last long with that mindset. Also Noel, please feel free to explain to me or anyone for that matter why you choose to run an American style Microbrewery and Sushi Restaurant and not a traditional restaurant in Baja? Could it be you're were attempting to attract a certain Dirty and or Dumb Americans? Also, please explain me and all that read this how to educate myself on "Mexican Culture'' when you're attempting to mimic two different cultures and yet have no idea on anything related to customer service. Please continue to Just throw out something racial and derogatory to cover up for you and your staffs shortcomings because racism has become a form of needing attention and not truly the issue at hand these days. Perhaps next time any "Dumb Americans" walk in to your place why don't you just refuse service, oh wait you do that by ignoring them and giving a racist rant on culture and education. instead of actually dealing with your staff/business issues. Now I've made some mistakes before with reviews and I generally give a place a few chances to rectify things as I know running a restaurant/business isn't easy and there are things that are out of people's control so I will update things when I return. As I believe this is the only true way of giving a honest and legitimate review. Perhaps next time you post a response you should also remember that there is an e-mail that is sent with your same response to the person that posted the review.Simply changing your response online doesn't change the initial email, and saying "you were busy" isn't an accurate description in this instance. Nice try. TO NOEL I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS PLACE AS LING AS I LIVE! I WILL MAKE IT MY MISSION TO TELL EVERYONE I KNOW THAT VISITS BAJA TO NEVER GIVE YOU ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO TREAT PEOPLE THE WAY YOU TREATED US. SIGNED: "THE DIRTY AMERICANS'
