We came to this restaurant because of its top rated reviews. It did not disappoint. We got a table for 5 ppl upstairs right away. We got a bit of ocean views from our table. We started with a half dozen oysters. They were pretty fresh. We got lobster specials - lobster with steak, lobster with shrimp and fish, and lobster burritos. The portion was decent. We also got a medium size lobster at market price (about $25 each). The flavor was very good. I also had a glass of sangria and I loved it. There were mariachis for live entertainments. It's worth the trip here. I'll be back!
We love everything about this place! The food is delicious; everything from the guacamole and chips, fish ceviche, lobster with all the side dishes and the tortillas! We also love the margaritas here. The service is excellent and the view is great. One of the places we come to every time we visit Rosarito.
Mouthwatering, fresh seafood without the American pricing! The pictures do all of the talking, but those delicious tortillas are definitely a bonus. This is my third time eating here and they don't disappoint! You have to indulge in the fried fish and lobster. I recommend sitting upstairs to catch views of the Pacific as staff will ensure you have the best experience! Don't forget to plan a little extra time to do some shopping around puerto Nuevo.
Went here during the week and sat on the roof. One of the only restaurants we found that didn't have someone heckling you to come inside! It was very windy that day, but overall the rooftop patio is awesome with a great view. We ordered the garlic shrimp which came with 2 large flour tortillas, rice and beans all for $13 usd. Chips limes and salsa given to us right when we sat down, and great quick service. I'm sure it gets crowded on the weekends.
The two stars is for price versus value of food received. Let's start with pros Handmade tortillas 10/10 Steak 1/10 overcooked Lobster 5/10 for portion Flavor was good The wrapped shrimp were overcooked and lacked flavor Chips were cold and flavorless If you want more bang for your buck go to villa Ortega You will spend the same amount of money with a much better view and ambiance
With so many lobster restaurants to choose from- it's hard to choose the best one. I haven't visited them all but this one checked off so many boxes-I wouldn't want to go to any other. We were greeted with chips, salsa and pico de gallo. We ordered a bucket of beer (Indio) it was my first time trying it. Very good! Got some oysters and an agua chile. There were 7 of us so we got lobster (i think it was the $30usd option) rice, beans and the most delicious flour tortillas! Everything was so good-we're still talking about it days later. We're already talking about returning!
This is a nice restaurant, great view, and great service, but the food was just ok. I was expecting much more from the reviews we had seen online and I was very disappointed. The portions were small to say the least. I got the lobster with "steak" (it wasn't steak, it was some kind of beef, but not steak). I guess I got a "baby lobster", because I was done in like 3 bites. In addition, it was overcooked, so it was rubbery. The "steak" was 3 finger-size pieces of meat that honestly seemed like it was leftover meat from some other cuts. I do have to say that the service was outstanding and the servers did their best to find ways to make our meal memorable. Also I got an Indio beer that was chilled to perfection. I think it's a good hangout, but the food it's just alright.
I came here from Yelp reviews and the parking attendant was in the front of the restaurant cut us a deal and mentioned "Margarita is included in your meal!" We parked quickly and got seated fast! I wish I could have gotten our waitress name (pretty and wore braces) she was right away getting our drink orders and my margarita.. Excellent server! Their very reasonable and worth every single penny!
Amazing lobster. Fun experience. Nice people. They try to upsell you to the major lobster. And it is pretty major, but not necessary. The meals come with a margarita that is ok. Loved that day. The lobster was great. Not a great view inside. There is a rooftop area that they were working on when we were there. It was amazing. We went for a margarita on the water before we came for dinner... Just an idea.
Service, food, ambiance, everything was perfect as can be. I have never had lobster this delicious, and for such an amazing price. Our server was so on top of everything he was amazing as was the rest of the crew. Will come back to Rosarito for this meal alone!!!

Second time we've been there and it was excellent. Starting with the basics - chips and salsa are solid with a strong spicy salsa offering. Guacamole was fresh and reasonable portion (although prices were similar to in the states ~$6). Now the lobster was super good and they were also able to accommodate some dietary restrictions nicely (lard free eating ftw)! We got two of the specials which was 3 half lobster tails, rice, beans, fresh tortillas (which were soooo good) and a margarita for $20 (varies by exchange rate). Their lobster are a bit larger than some of the places nearby offering 4 halves for 18, but it's probably all the same in the end. Lobster was fresh, easy to eat and decent sizes. Service was kind and helpful and didn't feel super touristy (although it is). The view is, of course killer. Place was a bit noisy, with random musicians constantly wandering through to play music/serenade you for a tip - my wife had a bit of a headache today, so it was particularly irritating and the meal. Luckily, nobody "wanted" music after the first 10 minutes we were there. Whew! Definitely will be back again! read more

We always stop here when we can. This spot has some of the best views, plus the service is great and the food will always bring you back. We always enjoy sitting on the patio, and enjoying some of the freshest seafood around. We always order the mid-range size for $25 U.S. comes with beans, rice and fresh handmade flour tortillas. We had oysters and fried fish as well. Everything was so delicious and fresh. Service is always above expectations. As always we will be back! Now this place, I wish I could give more stars greeted as soon as you come to the doors, seating, upstairs and downstairs ladies making fresh handmade tortillas as soon as you walk in highly recommend sitting upstairs, you can't beat the views of the beautiful ocean and active shopping area Service was amazing was seated right away greeted with happy, friendly, smiles, fresh lobsters brought to our table to pick from fresh made chips, delicious pico de gallo, and spicy red chili all brought to your table even before you order one margarita was all it took for me flavor was on point chili on the rim was delicious Not overly sweet at all the camarones à la Diabla were the perfect amount of spicy all shrimp was nice and clean. The fried fish had plenty of meat on it cooked to perfection and easy to pull off the bones. I'm not a fan of lobster but this lobster was delicious. Didn't even need the butter but man oh man was it a huge flavor change when you dipped it in I can't wait to come back here. Will definitely recommend to anybody traveling to the area. read more

Absolutely delicious! wait wasn't too bad Sunday afternoon. Ordered the lobster 3 half pieces and shrimp for 17. Comes with veggies steamed, rice, beans, and delicious flour tortillas that are handmade. Yummy fresh oysters for appetizer. Had a michelada and an.awesome time in a party of 8. Group was accommodated with great service! Will be back read more

Excellent lobster, fantastic service and prices. Been looking for that old Puerto Nuevo vibe ... looks like we found it! Food was delicious, beans to die for and service over the top. Will definetely be back. Also go to Hacienda Ortega's but this gave them some serious competition. How we found? Asked a local bartender at Rosarito where he goes for lobster in Puerto Nuevo (they're always best for referrals) gave it a try, glad we did! read more

This is the only place in Puerto Nuevo that my family and I will eat Lobster. I have tried a few other spots and have been disappointed. Never disappointed here!! Great service, and great food, and the best prices!!!! I highly recommend eating here!! read more

Good for small groups or big groups. The service is great and the food comes rather quickly. The balcony has an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean. Ask for the 4 halves of lobster for $16. It comes with rice and beans. The handmade flour tortillas add an amazing touch to the meal. Been here 5 times and have not been disappointed. read more

My new fave spot for aguachiles, micheladas, music and views Parking attendant Manuel was super helpful and service was muy bueno. We loved our food too. Didn't try their whole lobster, but lobster burritos were pretty bomb! read more

We decided to go to TJ for some shopping and lobster and this place did not disappoint. One of the best lobster place I had in a long long time. The carne asada was so soft and full of flavor. The lobster was fresh and tasty. I even had some oyster, and they were pretty juicy too. I can't wait to come back. read more
