We ordered a large build your own. It was far undercooked, the crust was almost paper white. The veggies were chopped so large it was insane. Not bite size pieces at all. Extremely thick slices of onion crowded together. The sauce was drowning and overflowing all the edges of the pizza and tasted terrible. I always think they're too high priced when I order but then I get the pizza and start eating and realize it's worth every penny. Sorry the photo shows I had already eaten some. I know that doesn't sound like much, but give it a try at some if not all of their competitors and see what you get on a Friday night. If you live in or near Weston, warning, go elsewhere. I order 5 pizzas on a Friday to be delivered to the Soccer Field between 11:45-Noon on saturday. Order fully paid for. This was for 15 girls 13 years old, end of season party. By noon, no pizza. I called and was told pizza was out for delivery with two other stops and should be there in 10 minutes. I called 15 minutes later, was told same thing. Called a third time, told same thing. They are now 45 minutes late, some of my kids and to leave, the rest starving. I will gladly say we have had enough of Dominos, Pizza Hut and Pappa Johns with taking 1.5hrs to delivery a COLD pizza. So we finally gave Marco's a try. We ordered a thin crust and classic crust. We had been told 40-45 min but to our surprise the pizza arrived in just under 30min. Already being shocked at the arrival time of the pizza we could not the believe the pizza was so HOT we had to wait a few minutes for it to cool down. Employee's where friendly as well. When I questioned the absence of meat was told by the attendant that it was buried in the pie but I dug as deep as feasible never to find the elusive steer or cow ...??? Where is the BEEF??? I had a very nice experience today with Marco's Pizza. I had to place a big order for my job and the gentlemen that picked up the phone was very polite and did his best to put together a meal package that would be convenient in price. I wish I could of gotten his name to submit a compliment but did not get the chance to ask him. I needed the pies as fast as possible and he was honest and told me that the delivery person had just left and caught them at a bad time but that he could get the order done in less than 20 minutes if I picked up. I did a standard order for a few pizzas of simply cheese, pepperoni and ham. I also added some of their specialty pizzas like the White Pizza, BBQ Chicken and Hawaiian. I thought the Pizzas were going to be "cheap tasting" and "chainy" kind of like the national chains out there. They turned out to be pretty good actually. The gentlemen over the phone not only paired up my order with some coupons, but also took some dollars off since I was putting together a big order. They were slightly on the greasy side, the dough was traditional in thickness and tasted well seasoned. Was not bland to the taste like some of those frozen pies you can get at the grocery store. That staff needs training. On Saturday July 30th I ordered a pizza - after 1 hour and 45 minutes I called to find out the ETA only to be told it was cancelled as the delivery guy showed up called me and got no answer. Interesting enough when I placed the order I gave my first name and last name together with a phone number as I ALWAYS do. I was told he called me multiple times with no answer. I found that interesting as the hotel staff know me well and I knew something wasn't right. I called the front desk on the room phone and was told yes the delivery guy was there but had no last name and the name was not familiar to her the way it was spelt (I stay here at least 6 months out of the year they really do know me) I repeated this to the young boy who began laughing and repeating so he was there. I said well yes clearly but with the wrong info if he used my full name like yesterday they would have called the room. He never apologized or offered an option, but with two hungry kids I asked so what can we do - his only response was the order was cancelled. I then asked do you understand what I am asking you - his response it doesn't matter it was cancelled. I then clearly stated am I able to reorder the pizza? Mind you he is still laughing and then his response what is your room number - to which I refused to give for safety reasons and reiterated I have never had to give my room number before - his response you can give the room number or you can go somewhere else and he hung up the phone. I know that most fast food chains hire high school children. But if this is your way of customer service its sad. Clearly the only thing he did was write some form of a name with a cellphone even though full contact details were given. And also clearly thought it was quite funny offering no apology, no options and simply being rude - really disappointed.
