RED CURRY with chicken and white rice

Second time here, first time at this location. I got the Thai Lunch special, everything was delicious. The waitress was nice, but she seemed very busy with other things (not her fault) but maybe if they had more help for the lunch hours, it would've been better. Very clean, very cold so bring a jacket :)

We were hesitant to go here after our last experience ordering from here. We were really in the mood to eat some where different. We decided to give them a second chance. I'm glad we did, rather food and service were very good. I started with some hot and sour soup. I ordered it hot and it was hot, and it was also very flavorful. Then I had spicy eggplant and chicken with vegetables. It came rice, I ordered sticky rice, but they brought me jasmine rice also. I really enjoyed what I had. My wife and daughter had a couple of rolls and they said they enjoyed them. I'm glad we gave this place a second chance.

My wife & I, recently tried Moon Thai and Japanese restaurant located in Weston, Fl. The food was 10 out of 10. To add the extensive craft cocktail menu was a pleasant surprise, my wife really enjoyed the smoked pineapple margarita. In terms of the overall dining experience, I found the restaurant to be welcoming and cozy, with warm lighting, modern decor, and attentive staff. The menu offers a great selection of both Thai and Japanese dishes, so there's definitely something for everyone. One of my personal favourites is the soup dumplings. I would highly recommend trying their Sashimi or Nigiri dishes, which are also raw fish sushi dishes, if you haven't already. Overall, I would definitely recommend Moon Thai and Japanese for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience.

Very nice spot - good date ambiance! Eat inside or outside- the inside is Dimly lit with some intimate lights. Came with my dad during the work week and arrived around 5:15pm. It wasn't packed but as our dinner went on the tables were pretty full by 6pm. SOOOO MANY OPTIONS! They bring you 2 full menus - one full Japanese menu and one full Thai menu as well as a small dim sum menu! We ordered several appetizers to share. They were all DELICIOUS. The chicken wings were not what I was expecting but they were fried nicely and paired with some of their table hot sauce it hit the spot. To cover some of my dim sum needs I got their Shrimp Shumai. So yummy! It had a dash of sweetness to it. I am a big fan of Vietnamese spring rolls and had to try theirs. Although a different variation, but still A+. This one added crab and no pork. Their gyoza was also really good. I could definitely come back and just eat their appetizers and be content. I'll be coming back and bringing friends!

We were crazing some Thai food for lunch and Moon Thai definitely hit the spot! The location is a little tough to spot as it's tucked into a plaza. Great ambiance as soon as you walk in. Loved the decor of the place and the bar setup was fully stocked. We ordered off the lunch menu and were started off with miso soup and salad. Both were good, the peanut sauce on the salad was amazing, very flavorful. The meals came out really quick. I ordered the massaman curry chicken and it was very good. Could really taste the flavor in the sauce. Not too heavy which I like. The presentation with the bowls and how they separated the rice from meal to keep it from getting soggy. My coworkers all enjoyed their meals as well. The portions on some of the meals were pretty small. I ended up asking for more rice for us because there wasn't enough on the plate. Also the service was a little slow but that could have been because of how busy they were. Would definitely come back though and recommend Moon Thai for anyone wanting some delicious authentic Thai food!

Incredible illuminated table... wait until you see the Geisha in the moonlight behind the bar!!!

The atmosphere is incredible... you must see it to appreciate it! The waitress we were blessed with was most accommodating! The food was very delicious! Whenever I am in Weston... The Moon will be Full!!!

We often order take out from moon Thai, mostly because my bf is obsessed with their shrimp tempura roll and needs to have it at least once a week. I personally enjoy some of their Thai food and can attest to their panang curry, pad thai, and Tom yum goong to be pretty legit. The pad thai from the gables location is way better in my opinion-- I don't know why, but for some reason the other locations just don't hit the spot. Their sushi is always fresh so we do get it quite often. I'd say it's pretty decent food overall and they usually get the take out orders right-- which is a plus these days.

Strolled in just before noon on a weekday because (a) I was about to go grocery shopping and knew…read morebetter than to do that on an empty stomach, and (b) I love lunch specials. The spot is small, and dark in a way that sort of reminds me of a dive bar. Clean though! I could see the fish at the sushi bar, and it looked perfect. Upon arrival, only two other tables; by the time I left, the place was full. So despite it visually looking like a hole-in-the-wall spot (my favorite type of restaurant to check out), this is definitely not a well-kept secret. My server was quick, handed me a menu, asked if I wanted water, produced it, and told me to let her know when I was ready to order. I didn't even catch her name until I saw it on my receipt (Nong, you're an amazing server!). I tried the red thai curry, chicken, medium spice. It was tame, so next time I'll order it a bit hotter. But otherwise, it was good! Very filling. Lunch includes miso soup and a small spring roll, which arrived upright in a amazing with the sauce already in it. Despite the restaurant filling quickly, I was never rushed to vacate my table; I ate in peace with a good book, and Nong had a radar unlike any I've seen; the moment I glanced up she was there to produce my check. I think she was the only server in the place, though some of my food and my water refill was handled by someone else. I think I prefer the food at Zabb, but this was decent food, great pricing ($11 for lunch), and phenomenal service. I'd definitely stop by again on my way to the grocery!

My husband found this place and it had great reviews so we went for it!!! The place was cute. Decorated nicely. I'm sad I didn't like this place bc I really wanted to. The place was packed so other people must love it. I didn't end up getting any sushi bc I'm pregnant and most of the sushi rolls they had were raw. Usually I love raw sushi but unfortunately they had no selections for us pregnant ladies. The only cooked roll they have was fried and unfortunately I can't do fried so there was that. Usually other placed offer cooked salmon rolls but unfortunately they did not here. So we went for the Thai. Which I did not like the taste. So food was a miss. Also the server was really nice but he forgot our utensils for like half the meal. I won't come back here. Maybe had I come when I wasn't pregnant I would have had a diff experience. I recommend for them to add rolls for us pregnant ladies who can't eat raw food. Edit: Editing this review as the owner made a suggestion. I had actually asked the water if they could cook a JB roll for me without frying and he told me no. I recommend letting the servers know that's an option as it was not available to me.

Found this place on yelp and thought we'd try a new/different thai place…read more It's in a shopping mall out west. The restaurant was clean and very pleasant. The staff were all very nice. We arrived for an early dinner, and the place was empty. But by the time we left all the tables were filled. Some friends ordered Thai tea and said it was good. They also had a green curry they liked, but the sauce was a little watery, and a fried fish that was okay, but not great they said. We ordered a pad thai which was tasty but a little heavy, and a masuman curry that was a little on the sweet side. It was enjoyable. It wasn't really expensive. And all in all we were satisfied with the meal. I might have said 3 stars on the food, but overall it was a pleasant meal.

There are two locations when I was searching it up and wanted to make note of this location in West Pines. Came here with friends to celebrate a birthday while they were in town and it was such a great experience. We came pretty close to closing and they never made us feel rushed and were so friendly from when we walked in to when we left. We ended up doing a bit of family sharing for the dishes we got. I got the salmon lover which came with an array of salmon sushi. We got Khao Soi (which came with an Arnold Palmer), Pad See Ew, curry, and a few other things. Everything was so good! We also got some dessert to celebrate the birthday and it came with a big "candle" which was more like fireworks and it was such a fun way to celebrate. Overall, such a great experience and a hidden gem for Thai & sushi in West Pines.

This review is for a takeout order…read more So we were craving sushi and my daughter's favorite local is LJ. We ordered online for a pick up. 3 rolls, 2 miso soups (tiny), chicken teriyaki for 1 and a pad Thai. $96. I asked for an itemized receipt but the lady said she didn't have one. I have no idea why I paid so much and it is not ok. My eel roll was not very good: it fell apart so it was just rice and a tiny bit of (hopefully) eel. Pad Thai was just noodles and fried egg. Absolutely no taste. My husband was happy with his chicken teriyaki but that man will eat rocks so he's not a good review source. Honestly, I don't get it. My daughter loves this place. The restaurant was pretty full (it is very small though), very crowded, not cozy, food meh (take out). So?? Confused.

This is because the owner/chef "Justin" is Korean. None of the Japanese items I've had here are made correctly. And they are always underwhelming. I understand "Justin" opened this restaurant in a time when Korean food wasn't yet popular in the US, so all Asians had to pretend to be Japanese and open a sushi joint because that's where the money was at. But Korean food is popular enough now, so maybe it's time to go back to your roots? Ambiance is quaint and pleasant. Small casual restaurant with nice decor.
