I've lived in Weston for a long time...the best Chinese spot was called Parc 28 but they didn't make it thru Covid. We found RiceUp and really liked it in the beginning, that was a few years ago but in the recent year we noticed that things weren't the same. The shrimp fried rice was not that favorable or tasted like the fried rice I remember. We also order the Mongolian beef (the sauce was delicious) but it came with very little beef, just a few bites floating pool of sauce and onions, oh and few mushrooms. So sadly we will be looking for a new spot. I leave one star for a speedy service, order was always hot, and second star for the polite people. But the food quality is the focal point of Chinese joints, especially when it's take-out only, so with that said, I wouldn't recommend it for my fellow foodies of the world :( read more

We were fans of this Asian kitchen but the last couple of times, it has been a total miss! Today, I wanted to change things up and try some rolls. Gah! They were the worst I've ever had! The chicken was dry and as hard as a beef jerky stick, the brown rice was awful, and the Nori was chewy--so I knew it wasn't fresh. The only part I enjoyed was the ginger strips, wasabi and eel sauce--now that's sad! In addition, my daughter couldn't finish her orange chicken because some of the pieces were also hard, and, the spring rolls appeared to have been refrigerated and re-heated but the temperature of the food wasn't hot. It is basically a takeout place but the service is horrible.I ordered rice without shrimps and they got mixed up and they put shrimp in it so I called back and they offered me to do another race but I had to take them they used rice or basically the leftovers of the used rice.... I ordered take-out from RiceUp through the Yelp app, delivered by Door Dash. I ordered a Rainbow Roll and I forget the name of the other roll I ordered but it strangely came with a side of teriyaki chicken (didn't note on the menu) which I thought was a nice addition but odd. I don't like ordering warm food with my sushi because the warmth from the hot food always makes the sushi warm. I would say the sushi was slightly above average, however, a bit disheveled when finally delivered to me as the delivery driver had a very hard time finding my location. I made sure to put specific directions on where my office was located in the plaza and the driver took over an hour to deliver my food. I almost called them to see what the status was since the app wasn't updating on the location. They ended up calling me and I spent 15 minutes on the phone with the girl from the restaurant who was trying to explain to the driver where I was located. I could see him driving around the plaza and tried my best to waive him down. They're not far from where I am so I'm willing to try them out again, but next time I'll just go pick up from their location. read more

This is now my second time ordering from here. So far so good! The fist time we ordered a few rolls, vegetable lomain, and some general tso tofu. Everything was good especially the general tso tofu. The second time we ordered the vegetable lomain again, but it was even better this time. Next, Mongolian beef, it was not dry, it was nicely with excellent flavor and it had mushrooms and onions. Then we had vegetable fried rice without eggs, I didn't get to try, but my wife said it was very good, she also stir fried vegetables with tofu, it was so good, my had habachi chicken with fried rice and miso soup, she liked what she had. We also got a quart of wonton soup, eventhough it was supposed to mixed soup, it was very good. Not super salty like I have had a other restaurants. Once upon a while back, I ordered General Tso Chicken from here and yes while it was amazing man I got smacked in the face with some MSG symptoms. Now usually I can eat Chinese and not experience any MSG symptoms because I'm not really sensitive to it, only if it's HEAVY. I was with my 13 year old and his friend looking for a bite after a movie. I should have looked closer at the Yelp reviews! First, this restaurant is really just for takeout. Not that we needed a fancy place, but I think we wanted someplace that was ready to accommodate eat in diners. When we walked in to the small place we found two large round tables with white tablecloths but no set ups. When I asked if we could eat there I was told, yes, but in takeout containers. I then asked if I should order at the counter or at the table to which the woman replied, "Which ever you want". I just got the impression that the staff was ambivalent about having us there. The second big mistake I made was ordering sushi in a hole in the wall like this. The Spicy Tuna Roll had a lot of rice but was not too bad. However, I really could not eat the Hamachi Roll. The fish was all discolored. It just looked terrible. My son's friend ordered Steak Teriyaki and my son ordered Chicken Teriyaki. They were huge portions. However, the little plastic knives we were given could not cut through the meat. The sauces on the side was sickeningly sweet. Their dishes went mostly uneaten. The best item we all ate was the Salad that had cold and crispy lettuce with ginger dressing on the side. It would not have been an expensive meal had we eaten it, but we really did not eat much of what we ordered and I hate waste! Lesson learned. Consult Yelp thoroughly! read more

This spot used to be a go to of mine for take out, but unfortunately it's just not good anymore. The quality of the food is questionable, and the breading on their chicken is rock hard. Fried rice was dry, the lo mein is drenched in oyster sauce, so incredibly sweet, and the Singapore rice noodles I got with shrimp tasted weird. The shrimp was not good and the veggies in their dishes seemed far from fresh. This place has a lot of potential, but the owners let it fall flat. I definitely won't be ordering from here anymore, I gave this spot many chances since my last review and was disappointed. Do not waste your money here. So based on the reviews of this place it seems experiences were 50/50. I agree that Chinese take out, there is not much to the imagination, but I think the food I ordered for delivery is worth another meal in the future! Nom nom nom, crab rangoons were savory and I loved the dipping sauce, not too spicy or thick or sugary. I was content that the rangoons maintained their crispiness on their commute to my home because hot fried foods that create "precipitation" in styrofoam compromise their taste. I also ordered the Tempura J.B. roll in which the entire roll is deep fried, but it wasn't too heavy in texture. I have to say I'm extremely pleasantly surprised about how this catering turned out. I had tried this place before for Chinese food and only once for sushi but never for catering. Not only was the lady extremely helpful but the way the chef prepped my own trays by request) was super nice. All my guests where super pleased and so was I! I will definitely be using them more often and recommending them. It's been over a year since. And we are still using them for catering usually about once a month! The worst Chinese food in Weston. I ordered sesame chicken, combo fried rice and combo egg drop wonton soup. The soup was thick and gelatinous like loaded with corn starch and was flavorless. The sesame chicken was over breaded over fried and overly dry. Gross. The combo house special fried rice was filled with seemingly pre fabrication. The vegetables came out of a bag or can. 4 shrimp that with super small that they arranged on the top so it appears you are getting a lot. The pork and chicken were disgusting. Hardly and flavor and didn't notice any egg in the rice. This is a restaurant that you would find near a bus station that cranks out low grade slop. People seem to love this place I have no idea why. this was my first visit here. I thought the food was very good and tasty. very plentiful and fresh vegetables in both the beef and broccoli and chicken and broccoli but the meat was scarce. What was even more disappointing was the rice.; not even enough rice to cover a typical dinner plate. given how cheap rice costs to make, the stinginess of the rice portions is enough reason for me to never return. It's hard to find great chinese food but Rice Up is my go to in this area. The General tso chicken and fried rice is great.

I ordered delivery from here after a long day at sawgrass mills mall. After perusing the menu I decided on the spring rolls and orange chicken. I ordered through grub hub around 8 and the order arrived around 9. The food was delivered piping hot and securely wrapped. There are 3 spring rolls in an order and they were accompanied by warm duck sauce. They were cooked to perfection and taste delicious. The orange chicken was amazing. The chicken pieces were extraordinarily big. I was a bit skeptical at first. However, when I bit into the chicken I was pleased to see and taste pure white meat chicken. There was so much chicken and rice that I could have probably split it 3 ways. I ate 2 pieces of chicken, 1 spring roll and was completely full. The value for the money is excellent. First and last time ordering. We ordered miso soup, chicken broccoli entree and Szechuan beef. Prices were fair & the soup was good. However the entrees were not. I ordered the Szechuan beef dish because it's a traditional spicy dish that I thought would be a safe choice. Chicken broccoli I thought was simple enough also. The beef dish came and I was impressed with all the veggies although never seen this dish come like that but it had zero spice or chilies. I tasted it & it was sweet so I thought they gave me the wrong order. Tasted like beef teriyaki which is fine but not my order. Called & they argued with me that was the dish I told them that was strange bc I never knew that dish to be that way & that on their menu there was a chili next to the name warning that it was spicy. I ordered it bc I was in the mood for spicy. They said they would bring me another with more spice (this one had none, woman kept explaining that the meal had green peppers ) they came back and wanted the old one back & gave us the new one. Almost like a cruel joke this one had so much spice my husband & I couldn't eat it. It was over the top. We like really hot so they really were trying to ruin it I feel. Then the chicken broccoli which in my experience is the same as a beef broccoli Asian dish with brown sauce had what looked like a clear broth. It was very bland & boring. I always compare my sushi to the " sushi den " in aspen from many years ago - ( didn't care for Aspen- very elitist attitude ) but the food was great at the time ) . This is literally a little hole in the wall , kinda makes me think of the amazing Tony Bourdain how he used to just eat at these places that were not fancy yet hang with the locals and have a great conversation about life - this is what this place is . Pork gyoza was made very sloppy I would have never sold that to a customer. Asked for spicy mayo never got it. The sushi had a weird after taste as if it wasn't placed in a clean surface.
