    Shrimp & Stringbeans

This review is specific to a placed call for delivery. The arrival of our food was timely, the delivery man nice and the order arrived hot. Basic overview: Wonton Soup: The broth was good. The wonton meat was a bit different in flavor and consistency the the norm. Overall it was okay. Hot & Sour Soup: A-okay Steamed Dumplings: Had the exact same filling as the wonton soup. Just okay. Chicken Fried Rice: not my favorite, but none-the-less okay Brown Rice: A-okay Mongolian Beef: Overflowing with yellow onions. Not what I was expecting. The meat flavor overall was okay, but the entire dish fell flat. Diet Chicken and Shrimp with sauce on the side: Lacked flavor. Shrimp & Green Beans: This was the favorite of the order. A-okay.

EatStreet were very accommodating with this situation. Wish that I could say the same for the owner...

Where shall I start...?! Let's see, I placed an order actually two orders Via Yelp on yesterday evening at 6pm. By 7:15 I called the establishment to verify the arrival of our dinner and was told by the OWNER that she has not received an orders and if I had placed it online through (I now know is a third party company) EatStreet; that I would not get a delivery because she doesn't use their services any longer. Taking a deep breath I ask if there were a number for this company so that I may contact them?! Her reply was, No and that she were too busy to do this right now. (LOL) I laugh now but I had to pull my iPhone away from my ear and look at it to make sure it were working correctly because I couldn't believe what I had just heard! She then proceeded to hang up in my face. Nice! I then called back and very calmly spoke to her in regards to placing an entire new order with her at that time and I would take care of the other situation thereafter. I also let her know that I were ordering for my children and it is now two hours past the time I originally placed my first order. Despite all my efforts and her attitude regarding the situation I proceeded to give her the CUSTOMER SERVICE 800- number for this company so that she may be counterproductive with her next customers in the event that this happened again. She did not want the number; she kept slamming the phone down on what I would assume was her counter top and start ranting in her native language. Look I get it! Things happen and it turns out that when I spoke with EatStreet it were actually a missed communication of both behalf. What gives me pause is her rudeness even after I tried to help HER help HERSELF. Thirty minutes later after I then placed yet another order with a different restaurant this woman calls me back with a far more worse attitude than before. She seriously had the audacity to ask me "What do you want to order now?!" I'm sorry... Come again?! Even on your worst day this type of behavior is not excusable in no way shape or fashion and if she were that busy to speak with than obviously she is doing well enough that she doesn't need my measly $52.91... #ThanksButNoThanks #BadForBusiness

Heard about this place and wanted to try it's BBQ and roasted meats…read more We stopped by on a Thursday evening around 5. The eatery seats about 40 and is clean and simply decorated. It was empty. But it slowly got more diners, with about 5 tables filled before we left. Service was fine but the waitress who took our order barely spoke English and it was difficult getting answers about items on the menu. Nevertheless, we ordered pan-fried dumplings, the three meat combo plate with roast duck, BBQ roast pork, and crispy pork. We also got a seafood platter with salt and pepper shrimp, squid, and scallops. The latter didn't have much taste. We couldn't even taste any salt and pepper. The dish came on a bed of shredded raw cabbage. There was no rice. When I asked, the server (a different one from the woman who took our order) brought us a small bowl. They had forgotten to put the rice on the plate. (The dish is advertised as being served on a bed of rice.) The meat platter was decent. Although the duck skin needed to be crispier, the pork skin was very crispy. The BBQ roast pork was tasty, boasting a nice char siu flavor. The few strands of Chinese broccoli that was served with the dish was cold, as if it was added from the refrigerator. We enjoyed the pan-fried dumplings. They seemed to be homemade. One appetizer, two entrees, tax, and tip was $66.

Hands down the best restaurant for dim sum specifically in the Pembroke Pines area…read more China Pavilion is located in a pretty chill shopping center not too far from Pembroke Lakes mall. The restaurant feels very authentic to how Chinese restaurants are, the restaurant has a fish tank at the entrance which is very on brand and over all it's a pretty casual space. The food is really good and there are so many items on the menu, that I definitely recommend coming with a few people so you can try all the things you want without it being way too much food. There are a few waiters/waitresses and they all attentive. Even though one person takes the order, the other servers may bring your food, get you another drink, or clear things off of your table. This is also another restaurant I will definitely be back to and highly recommend, especially if you're looking for Dim Sum in Pines.

You know it's authentic and good when it's always packed and you walk in seeing many 10 top round tables with the iconic lazy susans and a wall of fish tanks by the front entrance! We had a group of 12 for dim sum and we were accommodated fairly quickly. Dim sum was fresh and quickly served and reasonably priced. The baked roasted pork buns are a must but order early as they do tend to sell out and then you'll miss out! They also have an amazing menu with authentic Chinese dishes to choose from. On another visit I had their ginger scallion lobster and the mince pork with green beans, as it's an iconic staple dish to have when dining in. Looking for great Chinese food in the area, here's your spot!

The best part is that you don't even need to move from your table. Unlike most food halls where you have to stand in line at different places, here you just scan a QR code and the menus from each place come up. You can order from any of the kiosks or the bar all at once, and they bring everything right to your table. You get the variety of five different places in one spot completely seamlessly. For drinks, I had a mule and a lychee martini, and both were strong, delicious, and really well presented. Food-wise, I ordered the fried wontons and steamed dumplings from one kiosk, and my friend ordered the Korean chicken wings from another. We also shared a really good sushi roll with fresh crab and eel that was very large and filling. We ended the night with strawberry mochi for dessert. They also have a schedule for their entertainment with something going on almost every single night. The night we were there, they had a DJ playing 80s music, which made me very happy.
