Extra large Pepperoni pizza with garlic crust.
David F.

The extra large pepperoni pizza with garlic crust was just too good for words. I always think they're too high priced when I order but then I get the pizza and start eating and realize it's worth every penny. Sorry the photo shows I had already eaten some. Should have taken the photo before I ate. Apologies. It just smelled too good! Two type of pepperoni and the perfect amount of cheese comes with the order. I got the garlic crust and let me tell you it adds to the experience. The taste is awesome to say the least. Clean restaurant. Very nice and customer service oriented crew. They were all attentive and kind. That's rare in south Florida. I'll keep going to this location as a result. They make one super good tasting pizza. No joke! Keep in mind the price may seem high but compared to all the other "good" places all around the area - Marco's is the most affordable. And, honestly, tastes better than all the rest of the higher priced places. The photo of that partially eaten pizza means one thing = pizza for breakfast! Honestly, I'll probably eat a few more bites (slices) tonight but I will be a happy camper in the morning when I eat the rest of this pie! No, I'm not a huge guy. No, I'm not a glutton. I just know good pizza when I get it. And, guess what? I eat it all when it's this good within 24 hours. Makes it so much nicer when the place is clean and the staff is nice. I love this location and the food! Please give them a try. You will be satisfied beyond belief. And, you'll save money on their top quality pizza! Enjoy!!! Oh, lots of parking for pick up and easy in and out - and this was a Saturday night!

two slices of pizza in a box

Not gonna lie, I had low expectations (as I usually do for pizza franchises - I can't get past the typical smothered-on, corn syrup tomato sauces and thick doughy crusts) but was pleasantly surprised! *5 stars for service, we ordered from home and the pizzas arrived SO fast *no smothered tomato sauce layer the thin layer was tasteful and complemented the pizza well *fresh toppings, not overdone yet generous on cheese *crust was tasty but still doughy for my taste Overall, not like a stone oven pizza, but very good for the price range. 4/5

Deluxe pizza with added toppings - all raw veggies are not awesome on a pizza

Based on the photos I thought I was going to get a nice fluffy, gourmet pizza. The menu had ingredients on it that I equate to high end, relatively fancy pizza toppings. We ordered the nduja pizza, it's a type of pork that you don't see very often and it's almost like a delicacy to me so I was really hyped to eat it. But when the pizza came and we tried spreading the burrata that came on top of it, it was obvious that we were going to be very disappointed with this pizza. The red sauce was so watery, that when we tried to spread the burrata or even cut through the pizza to take a slice, all the toppings just pulled right off the pizza and you just see soggy, wet, paper-thin pizza crust left over. It's one of those pizzas that you either have to eat with a fork and knife or it's going to flip flop all over you. It tasted fine, but it was a pain in the ass to eat and definitely not what I would consider a high quality pizza. Also, for being a pizza literally named "Nduja", there was only 8 small dollops of nduja on the entire pizza. We also made the mistake of getting tap water, it tasted like what burnt oil in the air smells like. I say this about very few restaurants, but I would never come back here or recommend that you go here, unless you happen to very much enjoy wet, soggy, difficult to eat, falling apart pizzas.

No ice, no straws. Ok so we sat and drank and waited and waited. Argument was still going on. I told my wife let's get out of here. I threw $10 on the table and we left Friend tells it's the best Neapolitan pizza around. My people are from the Naples area so let's give them the benefit of the doubt. I call to order pick up. Asked for a large pizza gruff response is "We only have one size pizza." When the picked up the pizza the same charming demeanor greeted me. Got home and the pizza was OUTSTANDING. But small, if I had known I would have ordered two. So I guess genius needs to be tolerated. Making a pizza like that is an amazing skill. But maybe soften those edges

Then we switched to the one in Plantation and last week, we decided to stop at the one in Cooper City. The senior management at Sicilian Oven definitely keeps tabs on their stores and ensures that the stores are living up to their expectations. This one is no different. The food was spot on! The garlic rosemary bread is to die for. We've often thought of just getting a couple of those and a plate of pasta to share. However, today we had a small Sicilian salad (with gorgonzola added on) to go with the bread. Chef's kiss! We then spent quite some time, while we drank our wine, discussing what to have. Sometimes we opt for the fire roasted shrimp Palermo, or the cervellata with onions and peppers, or the wings, etc. Today, we did our go-to pizza; cervellata, mushrooms, grilled onions, double garlic and double basil. It hits all the taste points, and these guys make those flavors work exceptionally well together. Once that first bite (with the perfect fold) hits those taste buds (mine I throw some red pepper flakes on to give it an extra kick), it makes you dance in your chair. Did we take half of it home? Yes!!! Was the rest just as good the next day? Oh absolutely!!!!! Now, if I could just convince them to make that pizza on top of the garlic rosemary bread. Mangia!!!

Apparently, according to the employee, that actually means they put hot honey all over the pizza, something that is not clearly explained anywhere during the ordering process. The receipt even reflected the confusion, and when I called, the employee repeatedly said, "I know what the receipt says, but that's not what it means." That alone should tell you there's a serious issue with how orders are presented online. When the food arrived, the pizza was completely undercooked and soggy, and the hot honey had been baked into the entire pie, making it taste awful. The wings were also undercooked and soggy, and the garlic rolls were just as disappointing. I called to speak with a manager, but one never came to the phone. Instead, the employee spoke with the cook and came back offering a $2 discount on a $56.67 order. That was their solution for an inedible meal and a clearly misleading ordering system. To make matters worse, she admitted multiple times that: * The receipt is misleading * The website is confusing * The hot honey caused the pizza to be soggy Yet they still refused to remake the order or provide a proper refund. This place lost a customer and earned a well-deserved negative review.

The centerpiece of the restaurant was the Marana steel dome, stone slab rotary pizza oven. It was very crowded inside and on the covered patio (dogs permitted) but was seated promptly at our reserved time. The server was professional but not overly chatty. She did not provide her name upon greeting nor did she have a visible name tag, so I cannot give her the personal kudos she deserves. The mystery server offered her opinion on a few popular appetizers from the expansive tranditional Italian menu. Ordered braised rib Arancini to share with the table and a pepperoni pizza with a nice char cornicione and a tangy sauce. The pizza was 6/10 and the balls were an admirable 9/10. The decor was commendable but seem to overpower the food and therefore missed it's mark on this visit as a 5 star behemoth. The locale is nicely decorated and has a very cute mural in the outdoor seating area, service was fast and friendly, but the gluten free pesto dish we ordered completely missed the mark. The pasta made out of chickpeas was very very hard and cold, and the pesto sauce was nothing special. We told the waiter about it and he took it off the bill. On the positive side, the hot honey al prosciutto pizza was very tasty. They have a very large menu that includes most Italian classic dishes, so we might comeback one more time to try some of their other dishes.
