One of my friends had the eggplant Parmesan and the other plant had chicken Marcella. We left nothing behind. It was so delicious. I wish I could remember the server's name, but he was an older gentleman with a gray ponytail he took care of us like we were the only person in the restaurant. The service was awesome. We enjoyed the meal in the service so much. We didn't realize that we had been there for over 2 1/2 hours. We had no pressure. The waiter said just enjoy yourself and that's exactly what we did. I am sure we will be back very soon

Server McKenna captained our party of 9 with grace and balance. My wife ordered gluten-free pasta with Italian sausage. She allowed me to have a bite, and I was blown away at the gluten-free pasta taste with this Italian sausage and light marinara. I submerge myself with shrimp fettuccine Alfredo, which was another All-Star dish. Service was great, atmosphere was wonderful to include check-in. My only complaint was that I was not able to meet Nona however, I was reassured next time we visit Nona will greet us. 5 star Nona.

We got artichoke spinach dip, the tortellini with spicy Italian sausage added, the other pasta with sun-dried tomato and mushroom, and some pizzas for the kids. Everybody loved their food and the service was outstanding. The one thing that I feel like really brings the place down is the free bread. Not that they have it, because everybody likes that. But they appear to be Rhodes rolls served in a puddle of olive oil. I'm always excited for Italian bread and Thai was a disappointment, especially after how good the rest of the food was. I would also like to see mild Italian sausage as an option. The spicy was good but it was a sensitive stomach day for me and it was irritated by the spicy. I realize I could have not gotten sausage at all but I'd love a mild Italian option. The artichoke spinach dip was delicious and was served with the perfect amount of crusty bread. Even the little kids asked for more. The pastas were perfectly sauced and flavored. I didn't find them to be skimpy on sauce or toppings. A very nice balance of flavor. The shaved Asiago (or Parmesan?) was a lovely touch too. I love real cheese! I didn't personally try the pizza because I was too full from the pasta, but my husband and the kids loved it and it appeared perfectly cooked and house made.

I don't know if it's just me, but it seems ordering take out these days are better than dining in. I was not impressed with the quality of the food. I ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavolo. It's shrimp tossed in a spicy marinara sauce with angel hair pasta. Basically marinara sauce with crushed red pepper. It was more like boiled shrimp tossed in marina sauce along with some of the undrained pasta water. I'd give it a 6/10 since the shrimp wasn't overcooked. The house salad was simple, just old soggy lettuce, grape tomatoes and red onions. The garlic knots were a bit on the dry side, which was fine for me since I shouldn't be eating too many carbs. We ordered bottled Michelob Ultras and they might as well been room temperature. The waiter came to our table and just said hello then awkward silence for what felt like several minutes. The service was 8/10 the waiter didn't give his name, but he did refill drinks without asking.

Come to find out Marsala's also has a location in Huffman, but they are not related to my other fav spot. Inside, the restaurant is actually small, I was expecting it to be much larger. They do bring you their garlic knots right at the beginning of the meal, but they did not look or taste much like my other fav Italian place in NE Houston. The bread at Marsala's was dry and crusty (the other place has soft and pillowy bread) and there was no drippings or garlic butter resting at the bottom of the bowl, so I just ate a little of the interior of the knot itself. I ended up choosing a lighter dish, shrimp scampi, since I was still full from lunch and my dining companion chose the chicken penne. I'm not sure whether the chef was out sick or what happened exactly, but both dishes came out from the kitchen really bland. There was no salt or seasoning to the food. The pasta also didn't seem like the water was salted during cooking. We mentioned this issue to our server, who then told the manager. They were really apologetic and even comped our entrees even though that wasn't our original intention. I just wanted to know what happened and why there was no seasoning at all in the food. We left and of course didn't bother to order dessert. In summary, the service was really good, I will give them that much, but the food was barely edible. I'm just not sure I would even come back to try other dishes since these two we ordered just could have been so much better.

I could've eaten a whole basket by myself. For appetizers, we started with the fried calamari perfectly crispy, not greasy at all, and super flavorful. Two of us also had the Caesar salad and whew ‍ so fresh and delicious. The lettuce was crisp, the dressing was on point, everything tasted high quality. Now let's talk entrées because BABY We ordered: * Lobster ravioli * Baked lasagna * Spaghetti "The Works" * Wings * Penne alla vodka And when I tell you EVERYTHING was amazing every single plate came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. No misses at all. The lobster ravioli was rich and creamy, the lasagna was comforting and hearty, the penne alla vodka was perfectly balanced, and even the wings were seasoned and cooked just right. And the spaghetti "The Works"?? FULLY loaded and packed with flavor loaded with toppings and sauce in every bite. Not dry, not bland, just straight delicious. On top of the food, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the pricing was very reasonable for the quality, and the service was excellent very attentive without being overbearing. Overall, this spot is a 10/10. Amazing food, great vibes, and solid service. I will DEFINITELY be back to try their weekly specials. Highly recommend adding Adriatic Cafe to your must-try list!
