So she got an automatic 20% tip and didnt inform me without asking. Working in restaurant industries in my early days I was taught it's the law to notify the table. When we left I asked my brother why he paid $10 in cash and not all on card. He said he gave that as a tip. I said on top of the gratuity. He said he didn't know their was one. He went back in and said I tipped you on a gratuity why didn't you tell me. She said I told the other guy didn't you hear. He said I paid first how would have I heard when you were across the table. She gave him his cash back. By far the worse experience I have ever encountered in a restaurant. Let alone its average meal was $18 dollars.
