There was a few minutes wait but I was in no rush. The service was fast and friendly. It was a nice chill vibe and very true pizzeria. The pizza was delicious and the ingredients tasted fresh. The pizza sauce was delicious and liked the tiny acidity of the tomatoes which made it taste fresh and homemade. The cheese was delicious as well and had a nice stretch to it. The crust was thin and crispy but a little chewy in the middle of the pie. Overall still recommend to try their pizza.

Edit: when I reached out to the business, the owner called me names and threatened to sue me see photos Edit #2: He has now posted my personal social media account to his account, telling his followers "This person is trying to sabotage me!!! Let's go say hi like we did to Karen!" And I started getting harassed by his followers! He has apparently done this before to a female! Unacceptable!

We had Cane D'oro Pizza while attending the "Tap into Odessa" beer/wine tasting event…read more Overall, it was a solid pie. I LOVED the wood fired crust! Topping options were pretty good. We went pepperoni, sausage and bacon. It was super cheesy without even having to order extra cheese! The one "problem" was that when you'd go to pick up a slice, ALL the toppings would slide right off! And this was after letting the pizza cool for a few minutes. (It was still scorching hot). And it didn't happen JUST to the first slice we picked up... up 'til the last slice, toppings slipped right off. Very messy!! Price wise, a large with 3 toppings was $20. Personal size was $12. They had "gourmet" pies for a bit more. Not sure price... But like I said, delicious! I'd definitely visit again! Never would have thought there'd be a wood fired oven in a good truck!

Then you step up to the register and order. Find a seat and they bring the food to the table when you're ready. We ordered a small King pizza: Pepperoni, sausage, Canadian bacon, fresh mushrooms, black olives, onions, red, yellow and green peppers.we had ours with no mushrooms, slice of chocolate cake to share and 2 drinks. When they brought the pizza they put the metal pan on the table. She did not provide us with any plates or silverware. I say this because a couple had come in after us and when they had their food delivered later the pizza was put on a stand. They were given plates and silverware. We ended up helping ourselves to the plates stacked on the counter and I had to ask for 2 forks so we could eat the cake. Now let's talk food. It was sooo delicious! Some of the best pizza I had eaten in a very long time. The crust is thin but light and flakey and just enough sauce with a touch of sweetness but not overly so. It was so good that even when you say you're done your hand betrays you and picks up another slice. As for the chocolate cake, the cake itself was good and the icing was super sweet. If I went back I'd try a different cake like the tiramisu or milk cake we saw. In conclusion we'd both go back for the pizza alone. It was that good. That we would hope for better service next time like plates and silverware but also wouldn't let that deter us from the food here. Our total came to: $27.62

What caught my eye initially was that Pi looked very different from the normal Midland restaurants. It was decorated very nicely and had a fun but chill atmosphere. I would definitely recommend going there with friends and/or customers. The honey glazed salmon I got was the perfect size for lunch; enough to make me satiated but not too big where I would feel sluggish. It was cooked perfectly at around a medium and the wild rice and brussel sprouts it came with were perfect complements. It was priced fairly at $20 as well. The service was outstanding. My water was always full and the waitress/bartender checked on me multiple times during my stay and we had a good conversation. I would come back here again and recommend anybody else to as well.

We go to restaurants all over town, eat out 2-3 times a week but this is the only place where the other diners feel... hostile. I know that sounds strange, or like there must be something wrong with us- but nowhere else do people act like that. We really do eat all over town. From hole-in-the-wall places, to trendy international restaurants, to the more upscale chef-run places... this weirdly hostile angry vibe from patrons ONLY happens at Ray's. Maybe it's because the tables are close together and people feel territorial? Maybe it's the cold, slightly tense staff who are not always friendly? We basically stopped going to Ray's because of the hostility, even though the food is pretty good.
