So the last time I had a Marco's Pizza run in it didn't go all too well. I was hoping it would go differently this time around. Before leaving my uncle's house I pulled up to see if there was one nearby, there was. Great, I thought, I'll order a pizza and pick it up on the way back to the hotel. I used the app to order before leaving and used GPS to get us there. I made sure they were going to be open as it was late and made our way to the location. However, when we pulled up it appeared they were closed. Spoiler alert, they weren't, I just wasn't aware of how this location worked. I pulled in, parked and got out of the vehicle to enter the store to pick it up. There were two employees inside sitting at a table chatting and they saw me coming. The one employee got up and made a gesture that looked like driving. I took it as they thought I had ordered delivery. I stated I hadn't and they did the gesture again. Here, they have a drive thru...man did I feel stupid. But, again, I am not from the area and had no idea. There are few pizza places that have drive thru service I have come across. Get back in the vehicle, head to the drive thru window and handed my pizza. I got the Triple Pepperoni Magnifico. Since I didn't get any pepperoni on my last try, I figured lets overdo the pepperoni this time. Before leaving the drive thru I made sure to check the pizza to see if it was correct, it was. Finally able to take a slice and enjoy and I was over the top with joy. All the pepperoni you could ask for. Was it salty? Yes. Was it greasy? Yes. Was it worth it? Heck yeah. I would do it all over again. Just with less confusion, wish the app would have relayed that it was necessary to use the drive thru after a certain time. read more

Marcos is definitely one of my franchise favorite pizza spots and I visited this one to do a pickup or and literally two people looked up and saw me, no greeting offer of assistance or ask for order or anything one presumably a older gentleman. Then a third person, younger lady asked me about my order with a greeting. I was put off that it took three people to get one acknowledgement when the place was not in hectic position with orders and completely empty. read more

Terrible customer service. I ordered a pizza at 5:34pm for delivery. It was ready at 5:45pm. At 6:35pm I called them telling them I had not received the pizza. It sounded like I was disconnected, so I hung up and called back at 6:39pm. The person on the phone apologized and said they were short drivers. I told them I wanted a fresh pizza, since that one has been sitting around for an hour. He assured me he would make sure it was fresh. At 6:44pm I was notified my order was on it's way and the pizza was delivered at 6:54pm. The order was luke warm/room temperature. Here are my issues: 1. They lied. They told me the pizza would be fresh. They did not make another pizza (you can not make and cook a pizza in 5 min). 2. They served me a pizza that had been sitting around for 1 hr. 3. The order was lukewarm/room temperature. 4. If they were short drivers, when they received a delivery order why didn't they contact the customer of a potential delay or wait to cook the order under when they knew the drivers were available? 5. When the order was sitting around with no driver, why didn't they contact me to potentially come get the order? I am very unhappy with how they handled this situation, the fact they didn't do what they said they were going to do, and the quality of the food. Very disappointed. read more

Out of all of the pizza I've had in the Huntsville/Madison area, I've enjoyed Marco's the best. The old world pepperoni has great flavor and the cheese, sauce, and cook are great as well. On the down side, no matter whether I order via phone or using the website, they consistently forget to put the crust toppers on which really make a huge difference. Additionally, 4/10 times I've ordered the pizza has arrived a bit cold which is strange because I live less than 3 minutes away. I've had to send a pizza back once because it was the wrong pizza delivered, and talking to the manager was not pleasant as he was argumentative. The replacement pizza that was sent however was in the top 3 pizzas I've ever had in my life. If quality and consistency were to improve I'd give Marco's a 5/5. read more

If I could give them a zero I would. This was the worst pizza delivery experience in my entire life. It has been one hour and 52 minutes and I still have not received my pizza. The driver just called me, he went to the wrong hotel. I don't know how that's possible since I gave them this Hotel's address. I've called the store three times, spoke with someone one each time who said that the driver was approximately eight minutes away that was over 45 minutes ago. I will never ever order from this Marco's location again and recommend that you do not either. I can't begin to imagine how cold the pizza is. After waiting one hour and 57 minutes for the pizza, the driver shows up with a cold pizza and not with the plates, Parmesan cheese, nor crushed peppers I asked for specifically since I'm staying in a hotel again this was the worst pizza experience in my entire adult life. I asked the driver what am I supposed to do since he didn't have plates he just shrugged his shoulders and said I don't know. read more

All I can say is: Heck yeah! This was our first time at Marco's and I am IMPRESSED. We only got cheezybread and cinnasquares instead of pizza, but we were delighted. The cheezybread was made of a soft, silky smooth dough, and served with ranch and marinara sauce. The marinara was a little too sweet for my tastes, but that ranch was pretty impressive for not being scratch-made. It was akin to the ranch you get from Popeye's. The cinnasquares were firmer, a different dough than the cheezybread, and were lightly sweetened with cinnamon-sugar. It came with icing, but we have yet to open that (choosing to save it for later tonight!) We got a couple of sodas from the fountain, which were crisp and well-carbonated, the sweetness balanced. They have more options in-store than listed on the website. The restaurant was well-lit and clean, though it might feel a little dark at night-time since much of the light came from outdoors. Every staff member we encountered was super-kind, super-helpful, and helped us get through the finicky website. We got everything figured out with our loyalty rewards through their help. read more

Monday 10/21, I ordered 4 pizzas and 2 salads for my teams lunch at 1155. The order system confirmed a 1255 delivered by time. At 1236 I called to add on to the order and was told the order was headed out the door. Yay my team would eat soon. However at 1300- no pizza. I called and was told small mixup food on the way. 1310- nothing delivered. Called again and asked for manager- Zack got on the phone and stated delivery driver has another stop to make and would be there soon. I asked for the food to be "compd", he declined. I called again at 1322- food still hasn't shown up and this is out of hand. Zack assured me the tracking system says she is turning in. I asked what can he do about this - he replies well I'm sorry.. Yes the food has arrived!!! The food consisted of only 4 pizzas. The salads did t get bagged. I called again asked for Zack and informed me this has been a full "cluster" and that my gluten free folks didn't get their salads. Zack says I'm sorry and I can have them delivered when she gets back. I said Zack come on this has been a rough day, my team is hungry, no one there can get their story together and we've never had these type of issues with Marco as much as we order as a company. Zack says okay and hung up. I guess if one business has heard it perhaps all have but we will definitely not consider ordering from Marcos again with this type of accepted behavior. read more

This was our first visit to Marco's, and I was so impressed by the friendly staff at the counter. They were very helpful as I decided what to order and were genuinely kind to my daughter who is five and very energetic. After suggestions from the staff, I ordered a half cheese, half pepperoni, black olive, banana pepper, and onion. It came out quite a bit longer than the promised ten minutes. Our order was placed at 4:30pm and was expected to be delivered by 5:20 (according to their confirmation email), the pizza arrived at 6:10. Before the order had arrived I called the store and was told they could not find my order, asked me repeatedly for my phone number and then questioned me if I placed it with the correct store. After that I asked to speakto a manager regarding this order, a full refund was requested since our order took almost 2 hours. The manager finally agreed to the full refund and that it would take a few days to be credited. A week later a refund was NEVER issued. Obviously since it took so long for the order to arrive the food was hardly even warm. This store had HORRIBLE customer service. This was unfortunately not the first time we have had issues with delivery times at this store. It's definitely worth the drive and time to go elsewhere for pizza. read more

Their pizza is good, not out of the world good, but standard good. Their subs are OK, beats subway, but what doesn't. Avoid their wings at all cost. They are a total waste of money. They are slimey and mostly skin. It's as though they are cooked in a microwave and coated in a layer of gel. No good. read more

We decided to go back to Marco's and ordered take out through the web page and placed our order online. When I had arrived at Marco's Pizza they didn't get my order correct and were still trying to charge me for the other items that were ordered but they didn't make... They argued with me about the order but didn't seem to care they were charging me for food they weren't going to give me so I had to wait about 20 minutes while they cooked it. The first experience was great we really loved it but the last time was it for me. I think they might be under a different management from when they first opened I'm not sure but we won't be going back :( read more

This place was consistently excellent for the first few months they were open. I'm to sure what happened but the last 6 orders we made were awful (burnt, undercooked). The last time we ordered I called placed an order for pickup and when we went to pickup the order 20 minutes later, our order had never been placed. They did make the order and then charged full price for it, even though we had to sit there another 30 min to wait for it. There r two things wrong there; 1. After being a regular customer, when something like that happens the Mgr should have 'comped' the order and 2. They should have put our order in front of all other orders to get it finished as quickly as possible. Neither one of these things happened (even after speaking with the Mgr) We haven't been back since. We have no interest in supporting any small business that doesn't value their customers. read more
