Ordered a hamburger and bacon pizza. It was delicious. Ordered my daughter a cheese pizza. It looks great too. Parmesan crust and garlic dip is an extra bonus. I called them at the branch address shown on the ad, in1795 Kernan Blvd S Jacksonville, FL 32246 (904) 635-2322 They said they no longer have those promotions. event when the ad stated it ends in the middle of next month. 3 1/2 stars I agree with the Yelp ratings (it was 3 1/2, but I always round my ratings up so I guess it bumped their overall rating up to a 4). Marco's is one of the newer pizza franchise in JAX. Due to the generous toppings, I would say it's just slightly better than Dominoes since their toppings are pretty chintzy. The one thing I didn't like about the topping is I'm pretty sure they use canned mushrooms. I'm not too crazy about the tomatoe sauce either. My family love pizza and we all thought the pizza at Marco's is average. The original hand-tossed is very soft and fluffy, not chewy compared to Jets pizza but I wished the bottom had more of a crisp to it; it was just too soft. Now the Cheezy bread uses that same dough and has a similar texture but it worked more me. I found myself wanting to eat more of that then the pizza. We received flyers in the mail with coupons. One was for the Cheezy bread, $1.99 and a large Specialty, $11.99. The Cheezy bread coupon states it can be combined with other offers but the online system doesn't recognized either coupon codes so I called in my order. There was some confusion about the total but I figured we'll bring in the coupons. Instead of $14.98 using the coupons, the guy charged us $16.99. My husband didn't want to argue about $2 since the original price would have been over $20. SO, if you try to use both coupons they may not honor it. I will definitely go back for the Cheezy bread and try their wings but as far as the pizza, I might need to order a different crust and / or a pizza with a non-tomatoe sauce base. read more

We have visited this restaurant three times now. It is about time we did our review. This is a new pizza place really close to our house. Everything is new. The building itself is new. When you walk in you can find your table before you order or you can order at the register before you seat yourself. The drinks are self serve. We have a variety of pizza, subs, salads during our three visits. We were never let down by the food. Each item we ordered was filling. The food tastes fresh. You can taste the freshness of the dough so you know it was mixed on site. Every employee we spoke with was cheerful, helpful, and knowledgable. We've lived by this spot for a while and finally started trying it. After ordering from them a few times now I would definitely recommend them. The pizza quality is consistently good, great flavors and crust. The delivery is always on time, if not faster than expected, and they are good about calling if you're in an apartment or condo complex. What we had: Pepperoni Pizza (Small) - Crunchy pepperonis, cheese and sauce layered well, soft crust that's great for dipping. Usually you can't get away from the grease with pepperoni pizzas, and while theirs as some it's not overly greasy. Hawaiian Chicken (Small) - fresh tasting pineapple, flavorful ham, the chicken was a tad dry, cheeses and sauce were well layered. I ordered 3 pizzas and 2 cheesy breads. The pepperoni and the cheese were fine. The supreme that I ordered was very obviously a cooked pepperoni pizza that they then threw mushrooms onions green peppers and sausage on top of. They put it back in the oven for a minute. The veggies were basically raw and still crunchy. The cheesy breads crusts were huge and over cooked to the point they were dark brown. The crust size made the cheese area so much smaller than it should have been. I submitted a complaint to customer service and the extent of their make good was "sorry it didn't meet your expectations". Not even an offer to refund for the unacceptable items. I followed up with another email and received nothing back. The food has been good in the past but this order and the subsequent lack of customer service made it so I will not go back. read more

I've been a fan of another chain for more years than I can remember. One night my son wanted pizza but I wanted wings. I was at the wing joint and didn't feel like driving further when Marco's was next door. It just so happened that they had an extra supreme and the manager gave it to me. So began my journey. I love the parmesan crust topper. It really adds a nice touch to your pie. I also enjoy the old-style pepperoni as it forms perfect little grease cups as it curls. It's like eating gum with a juicy center only it's perfect pizza juice. The specialty pizzas are good and the pizza bowls have been a hit. I haven't been back to the other place in months. read more

I know my pictures aren't on point this time around because we just couldn't wait to dig in. I'd have to say the white cheesy (feta cheese) thin style with steak, grilled chicken, and bacon only was one of my all time favorite pizzas. I also got a traditional 1/2 extra cheese, half pepperoni XL pizza. It was huge and so cheesy! I also got a family size Greek salad and subbed grilled chicken for olives. 4 servings for less than $10! I love that you can modify their dishes and pies and it's the same price if you get the same amount of ingredients/toppings. I had a Local Flavor and was able to order online and pickup in store. They were so nice and cleaning while in there. They had it contact free allowing me to tap on my phone to redeem my local flavor. When I was done the manager offered me a large pepperoni pizza free because they had made it in error. During these times, it absolutely made my day. I'm really glad we got Marco's in East Arlington / intercostal west area. I moved here a couple of years ago and missed having Marco's down the street. The commitment to great food is apparent in everything they make from the quality authentic Italian pies to subs and fresh wings. The focus is about quality not quantity but you can still order one and have it in your hand within about 25 minutes (pickup). They deliver too and it's fresh and fast as well. I got to be honest, it's not what it used to be. I can't quite pin point what's changed- maybe everything? The first few times we ordered it was 5 star quality. Here lately, the pizzas seem dry, the cheese doesn't taste as good and it doesn't reheat like it used to. It more like Dominos every time we order which is not a good thing. I just wished I could get that fresh hot crust and amazing sauce and cheese again. In their prime- it was fantastic. I give them 3 stars because it's still (albeit marginally) better than Little ceasar, dominos or Pizza Hut. But they used to be head and shoulders above! Anyway, they do deliver quickly and timely. They say 30 minutes- it's usually faster than that so that's a plus. Did take out last night and ordered a basic cheese and a custom with pepperoni, meatballs and banana peppers. We went with classic hand tossed but they have pan and thin options. The pizza was hot and fresh. The cheese was abundant and that was the one thing I would say set them apart from average take out pizza chains. The toppings were generous and tasty. I think I would like more sauce which is something you can specify when ordering but since this was a first time I just went with the regular. It may also need more sauce because of the rich and heavy amount of cheese. We will order again. It was above average take out pizza. read more

I ate my first Marcos pizza yesterday at the Kernan location. It was fantastic! Perfect crust, excellent pizza sauce and wonderful service. Im a huge fan of crust toppers and the garlic butter with romasan seasoning are impeccable. The owner and the staff are genuine. If I could give 6 stars I would. Im getting real hungry as I type this so I may try the wings with hot sauce and jalapeno ranch dipping sauce. read more
