Tried the ultimate pizza with half pepperoni(2 types) and half ultimate sausage and pepperoni, which had 2 types of sausage and 2 types of pepperoni. Garlic parmesan crust. It was $10.99 + tax, so it's not bad at all price-wise. It was tasty, but I'm not sure it would be my go-to for pizza. I definitely would buy it again, though. Good value for the price. Ordered for Cowboys playoff game. Said it would be ready in 30 minutes at 230. Picked it up at 230. I said "wow these 2 pizzas and wing boxes are light" but I didnt check until I got home 3 minutes later. Pizzas were cold, edges turned up, very very little cheese as well. I asked him to cancel my order and he refused to cancel my order and then his response was " You don't tell me what to do ma'am!! Then when I asked his name he hung up on me! When I called back and asked again he hung up again, he did this 3x when I asked him to give me his bosses name he said he was the boss. Avoid Marco's pizza in Helotes at all costs! The food is not fresh, the staff consists of rude entitled children who don't care about food safety since they don't wash their hands after touching the register, cash or any other nasty surface. If you've ever received your food with hair in it...it's probably because nobody wears caps or hair nets or anything of that kind. Management is an absolute joke, they will talk bad about every customer and disregard every complaint. Management is solely based off of taking your money and nothing more. This store is the definition of toxic. If you're looking for a job, honey, 8 dollars an hour is not worth it! You can do better so keep looking. As a former Marco's employee I regret with every bit of my being applying to this nightmare of an establishment. Management does not care about you as a person at all, you could be called degrading names, you could be followed home by a fellow employee and get physically assaulted LIKE ME and not a single thing would be done about it. They will lie to your face about anything and everything. If I had a dollar for every broken promise that was made I could have bought a new Mercedes Benz. Another great thing about Marco's is that law's don't exist! By the age of 16 you'll be making deliveries, using slicers and other equipment that isn't supposed to be used by minors under the age of 18! If you like pizza with good sauce (if it's red, order double, cuz it's not enough) and fresh vegetables and meat, this is pizza nirvana. I don't order any other. OK, for some the prices are higher than others. You get what u pay 4. Sign up with them & get their special discounts - the app determines which one will save u the mo$t at checkout! The calzones, salads & special items are top notch, also. Any errors they've made have been corrected by management, as no place is perfect. Drivers are super friendly & courteous. While their pizza is awesome, the employees don't wash their hands before they make it for you. They touch the register, touch your money, touch the pens, touch their nose and face and hair, and then go strait into making dough. No hand washing in between. We went to dine in today. Tables were rearranged in a manner to not encourage dining in. They have gotten rid of all fountain drinks and only sell bottled drinks. No glasses or ice was available when requested. We were the only ones in the restaurant and when our pizza was ready our name was hollered and it was up to us to walk up and get the pizza. The pizza is delicious, there is no denying that. The only flaw to this restaurant was there was an older gentleman who appeared to be the boss or manager was yelling at his employees. I did not fully enjoy my dinner because I was too distracting by his commotion. Delivery. Quick, efficient, and correct. The sauce on the pizza was perfect, both in taste/texture and in the amount of it on the pie. Crust was just right as well - just the right balance of doughy and crispiness, with a touch of garlic and herbs. The meat is what totally won me over though - Sweet Italian sausage is one if my go-to favorite pizza toppings, and Marco's version of it is unlike any other I've had before: huge chunks, more like delicious sausage meatballs than the ground beef like stuff that I've become accustomed to. .. wonderful! Pretty good pizza. A step above the huge pizza franchise joints. The competition is steep for pizza in this area, but Marco's will do just fine if they keep doing what their doing. Well ran for a new establishment. We've ordered pick up almost a dozen times already and had no issues. Never dined in so can't write much about the dine in experience. So mad!!! I went into Marcos pizza in Helotes.. went into the store to place my to go order. A tall idiot took my order but the idiot kept messing up...I ordered 1 pizza and 3 subs. I was the only customer in the store so I waited .. a few minutes other customers came in .. the more.. still waiting.. 15 minutes now. It got busier still my name not called.. after 30 minutes I stand in line to check on my order.. it was sitting there for who knows how long and it was wrong! I furious .. just wanted to cry.. I cancelled the order a requested a credit back on my card.. the manager gave me cash.. but I will still be charged though.. ugh so mad at them. Our pizza took over an hour to be delivered after we were told it would only take 30 minutes. Although the delivery driver was very nice and apologetic. Before the pizza arrived we spoke to Lauren on the phone. She was extremely rude. After I had said it's been over an hour she said "I told you our problem (that they were short on delivery drivers) and how we could fix it" (they would maybe give me a discount on my NEXT ORDER) I then asked if she was the manager and she replied "yes but would you like to speak to MY MANAGER" I said yes and she put a kid on the phone who did not sound like a manager at all.
