    Ingredients are piled on

Pizza is good, the crust is tasty and they pile on the ingrediehts. This was my first time ordering and I wasn't prepared, the dough is raw and there was no cardboard undernath, just flimsy paper. DoorDash left them on my porch, no bag, just two floppy pizzas in plastic wrap. The other issue is I ordered 12-in but they gave me 16-inch. I didn't have a working stove and was going to cook them in a toaster oven that only has room for 12-inch. In addition, they included ingrediehts I did not request. I used a pizza cutter to trim down the pizzas but it just became a gooey mess, with the dough bunching up and creasing and ingredients falling off. I managed to bake four individual slices, and had to throw the rest away. The pizza was good, the smell of the baking crust, nice. I totally will order again, but next time I will go in person so I can quality check and get more guidance on how to handle the dough.

I messed up and thought baked requirements meant they baked it. Ordered Uber eats and a raw pizza was at my door in less that 30mins. I was reluctant and kinda weirded out. I followed instructions and omg! This was the most perfectly prepped and tastiest pizza I've had in years! Thank you for the side of marinara and wow! Just an amazing HUGE pizza! (Ordered family size 5 meat , baked in oven on 350 for 38 mins !

I had to go back because they made my first order incorrectly but when I came back Chris a as a superstar he took my order he read the receipt he remade it in front of me the way that I wanted it he made it with love you could just tell that he knew what he was doing and I'm so grateful that I showed up and chris was the one there to handle everything that needed to be handled I will definitely be coming back it's freaking amazing and I'm just gonna say it if you didn't know they take food stamps!!!!

My cheese pizza was stale and tasteless. Similar to school cafeteria pizza. I tried to reheat in the oven for best taste outcome. Very disappointed.

This was probably our 20th visit to Papa Murphys and they always deliver (not literally of course lol). We are always pleasantly surprised by the pizza we order and the freshness of the ingredients. We personally also like cooking the pizza at home so we can eat it piping hot every time. My wife hates greasy pizza and we can always count on Papa Murphys to provide a delicious, not too greasy pizza. The service when ordering and picking up is always excellent as well. Even more fun was for Halloween they had a Jack-o-lantern shaped option! One of our go to pizza places for sure!

We were warmly welcomed by our waiter, who seated us at a table with a lovely view of the river. We ordered the Funghi pizza to share between two people. The pizza was fresh, crispy, straight out of the oven, piping hot, and so delicious. I'd rate it an 8.5/10. The fresh mushrooms paired perfectly with the truffle, creating a rich and earthy flavor. The caramelized onions added just the right touch of sweetness, making the pizza perfectly balanced. This was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely love to revisit and try some of the other pizzas.

I ordered the Sweet Texas Heat pizza--white sauce, applewood smoked bacon, Calabrian pepper, fresh basil, hot honey. It sounds like a whole experience, right? Sweet, spicy, smoky... all the things. But it was not giving Texas... or heat. Biggest issue? Overcooked. And when thin crust is overcooked, it's a wrap. Dry, brittle, no life left in it. The pictures don't lie. Flavor-wise, I could tell there was potential in that combo, but I couldn't get past the dryness. Once that texture is off, the whole thing falls apart. And for $35? I was definitely left wanting. Now in all fairness--the side salad? Very, very good. Fresh, crisp, well done. But let's be honest... I wasn't paying $35 for a salad. I did see some great reviews, which is why I chose this spot, so don't let me be the final word. Try it for yourself. But me? I won't be back.

Fast forward to my visit to Via 313 also a Detroit establishment serving pizza...and let me just say!! It is a must go!! The pizza was amazing (we had the detroiter again) and also the Cesar salad...our friends also had other various pizzas and they all highly enjoyed it. The service was awesome and the restaurant is clean and has a cool ambiance. It was my birthday so they gave me free cinnamon sticks with a cream cheese icing...Sooooo good!! Def a 5 star experience! The Detroiter is crispy, chewy, buttery, and all the delicious things rolled into this pillowy goodness. We ordered the arugula salad with goat cheese, they being it the salad and say they were out of goat cheese, and I was okay with it. Then they come back and say, we did have gorgonzola. I was confused. So they put down the cheese and it's goat cheese. Anyway, the salad was incredible, but let's be real, the goat cheese makes ALL the difference. They were also out of my man's go-tos on tap. Which was a slight bummer for him. Service is always friendly and the restaurant is very cool, like escape the heat cool, with a chill vibe. I still love the heck out of this pizza!

Pros: - Attractive space - Waiter was fine, he was friendly enough. - They had a few gluten free items, which was a main reason we went, but they do NOT have a dedicated menu, you have to ask. - The burrata cheese and veggie board was great. Definitely the best part of the meal, although the gluten free toast was extra brown and crispy. The veggies had great flavor, though. Cons: - Ridiculously overpriced for the quality of the food. - Gluten free pasta was quite overcooked. It was mostly mush by the time I got it. I love that they HAVE gluten free options, but come on, it would help if you cooked them properly. It was barely edible. - Sauce was bland and too sweet. - There was no attempt or offering to make the experience more accessible for my disabled son. No plastic cups, etc. Would be nice if they had more inclusivity. All in all, almost $200 for lunch for a family of four. Definitely not worth the money.
